ATMA Eligibility Criteria 2018, Program-wise, Age Limit

ATMA Eligibility Criteria 2018 mandates a candidate to hold a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks, to apply for the exam. Only the candidates who fulfill ATMA Eligibility can proceed towards filling ATMA Application Form from June 28 – July 30, 2018. 

Here are some key highlights of ATMA Eligibility Criteria 2018:

  • Final year candidates can also apply for ATMA.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Only Indian Nationals can apply for ATMA. Also, there is no domicile restriction.
  • There are no reservation rules. However, individual colleges may offer seats to reserved category candidates.
  • There is no graduation percentage cut off for being eligible to take ATMA. However, the participating Institutes of ATMA 2018 may have different eligibility criteria for admission to MBA/PGDM programs of 2018-19 batch.

AIMS Test for Management Admission or ATMA August 2018 is scheduled for August 5.  It is conducted five times a year under the guidance of The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). The examination offers admission to PGDM/ MBA/ MCA/ PGCM courses. The scores are accepted by more than 200 top most B-schools across India. ATMA Eligibility: Basic Qualification

The following educational eligibility criteria must be satisfied by the candidates applying online for ATMA 2018:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification level under 10+2+3 scheme in any of the following stream:
    • B.A.,
    • B.Sc.,
    • B.Com,
    • B.Tech, from any University recognized by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
  • Final year students can also apply for the management exam.
  • minimum of 50% aggregate marks in graduation or any equivalent degree.
  • The percentage criterion may vary for various Management Institutes or Universities.
  • Candidates in their final year of graduation can show their last semester scores.

ATMA Eligibility: Program-wise

AIMS, the Association of Indian Management Schools, administers AIMS Test for Management Admission for selection to MBA, PGDM, PGDBA, MCA* (subject to local Regulations) and other postgraduate management courses. About 200 high ranking institutions accept ATMA Scores. Given below is the program-wise eligibility for ATMA exam:

ATMA Eligibility: MBA Program

  • Nationality: All Candidates belonging to Indian nationality are eligible to apply for the ATMA i.e. only citizens of India can apply for the exam.
  • Age Criteria: The minimum age limit for taking the test is 21 years. There is no upper age restriction for applying the ATMA.
  • Selection Criteria for MBA:
  1. Percentage in the qualifying course
  2. Entrance Exam Score/Percentile
  3. Personal Interview

ATMA Eligibility: PGDM Program

  • Nationality: All Candidates belonging to Indian nationality can for applying the ATMA.
  • Age Criteria: The minimum age limit for taking the test is 21 years. There is no upper age restriction for applying the ATMA.

ATMA Eligibility: MCA Program

  • For admission in MCA, a candidate must have score minimum of 50% marks in BCA. Candidates in the final year of BCA can also apply for the exam.
  • Age Criteria: The minimum age limit for taking the test is 21 years. There is no upper age restriction for applying to ATMA.
  • Nationality: Only candidates of Indian nationality can apply for the ATMA Exam.
  • No. of Attempts: There is no restriction on the number of attempts.

ATMA Reservation Criteria

  • ATMA follows no reservation rules defined by AIMS.
  • No concession in fees for the SC/ST or general category students. 
  • Concession in Fees​
    - For Women: 25% Concession in Fees
    - For N. Eastern States of India: 50% Concession in Fees
  • The participating institutes might have there own reservation standards, in this case, candidates need to write about the category in ATMA Application Form.
  • No subsequent application to claim reserved seats will be entertained later.

Documents to Submitted to Apply through ATMA Reservation

Candidates belonging to Backward Class categories will be required to submit:

  • Caste Certificate
  • Caste/Tribe Validity Certificate

ATMA Application Form 2018

ATMA Registration can be done via online mode. To apply online, candidates can register at atmaims.com. Here’s how you can fill ATMA Application Form in online mode:

  1. Visit the official website and click “click here to register for ATMA”. 
  2. Enter complete details viz. Full name, Correct Email ID, Mobile Number and Date of Birth in the Online Fee Payment form to register.
  3. Pay the requisite application fee.
  4. After successful registration for ATMA, PID (Personal Identification Number) will be sent on your registered email id.
  5. Login using PID and fill ATMA Application Form.
  6. Last date for Reprint of filled-in Application Form for August session is July 30, 2018.

ATMA Application Fee

  • Candidates willing to apply for ATMA must visit atmaaims.in and pay INR 1100 + 18% GST (INR 1298)  as registration fee.
  • The fee can be remitted via online mode only viz. debit/credit card/ net banking/ CSC e-wallet.
  • Registration fee once paid, is not refundable or transferable to other tests under any circumstances.

Note: While filling ATMA Application Form, candidates will be required to choose any 5 institutes on the basis of ATMA Scores. AIMS will then send these scores to the respective colleges. More than 700 colleges will be accepting the scores of ATMA. Further, these colleges will carry out their own eligibility and selection processes for the selection of candidates.
