ATMA Eligibility Criteria 2018

ATMA Eligibility Criteria 2018 mandates a candidate to hold a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks, to apply for the exam. Only the candidates who fulfill ATMA Eligibility can proceed towards filling ATMA Application Form from March 05 – May 21, 2018. 

Here are some key highlights of ATMA Eligibility Criteria 2018:

  • Final year candidates can also apply for ATMA.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Only Indian Nationals can apply for ATMA. Also, there is no domicile restriction.
  • There are no reservation rules. However, individual colleges may offer seats to reserved category candidates.
  • There is no graduation percentage cut off for being eligible to take ATMA. However, the participating Institutes of ATMA 2018 may have different eligibility criteria for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes of 2018-19 batch.

AIMS Test for Management Admission (May) is set to be conducted on May 27.  It is conducted under the guidance of The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) for admission to for PGDM/ MBA/ MCA/ PGCM courses. ATMA is held four times a year.

ATMA Eligibility 2018- Basic Qualification

The following educational eligibility criteria are to be cleared by applicants for ATMA:

  • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or must have passed its equivalent examination under 10+2+3 scheme with any stream like B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, B.Tech, from any University recognized by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
  • Candidates appearing in final year of their qualifying examination can also apply for the exam.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in graduation or any equivalent degree to appear in ATMA Exam
  • The percentage criterion may vary for various Management Institutes or Universities.
  • Candidates in the final year of graduation can show their last semester scores.

ATMA Eligibility 2018 for MBA

Candidates interested in applying for MBA program through ATMA must check the eligibility criteria before applying. Candidates not fulfilling the eligibility criteria will not be able to sit for the exam.

  • ATMA Eligibility as per Nationality: All Candidates belonging to Indian nationality are eligible to apply for the ATMA i.e. only citizens of India can apply for the exam.
  • ATMA Eligibility as per Age Criteria: The minimum age limit for taking the test is 21 years. There is no upper age restriction for applying the ATMA.
  • Selection Criteria for MBA:
  1. Percentage in qualifying course
  2. Entrance Exam Score/Percentile
  3. Personal Interview

ATMA Eligibility 2018 for PGDM

Candidates willing to seek admission to any Post-Graduate Diploma courses through ATMA must check the eligibility criteria before applying. Candidates not fulfilling the eligibility criteria will not be able to apply for the exam.

  • ATMA Eligibility as per Nationality: All Candidates belonging to Indian nationality can for applying the ATMA.
  • ATMA Eligibility as per Age Criteria: The minimum age limit for taking the test is 21 years. There is no upper age restriction for applying the ATMA.

ATMA Eligibility 2018 for MCA

For admission in MCA, a candidate must have score minimum of 50% marks in BCA. Candidates in the final year of BCA can also apply for the exam.

  • ATMA Eligibility as per Age Criteria: The minimum age limit for taking the test is 21 years. There is no upper age restriction for applying to ATMA.
  • ATMA Eligibility as per Nationality: Only candidates of Indian nationality can apply for the ATMA Exam.
  • No. of Attempts of ATMA Exam: There is no restriction on the number of attempts.

ATMA Reservation Criteria 2018

  • ATMA follows no reservation rules and has no concession in fees for the SC/ST or other category students.
  • It only sends the scores to the participating institutions, which have the discretionary power in seat reservation.
  • In case of seeking the benefits of ATMA Reservation, candidates need to write about the category in ATMA Application Form.
  • No subsequent application to claim reserved seats will be entertained later.

Documents Required to be Submitted to Apply through ATMA Reservation

Candidates belonging to Backward Class categories will be required to submit:

  • Caste Certificate
  • Caste/Tribe Validity Certificate

ATMA Application Form 2018

ATMA Registration can be done via online mode. To apply online, candidates can register at atmaims.com. Here’s how you can fill ATMA Application Form in online mode:

  1. Visit the official website and click “click here to register for ATMA”. 
  2. Enter complete details viz. Full name, Correct Email ID, Mobile Number and Date of Birth in the Online Fee Payment form to register.
  3. Pay the requisite application fee.
  4. After successful registration for ATMA, PID (Personal Identification Number) will be sent on your registered email id.
  5. Login using PID and fill ATMA Application Form.
  6. Last date for Reprint of filled-in Application Form for March 05 session is May 21, 2018.

ATMA Application Fee

Candidates willing to apply for ATMA must pay INR 1100 for all the courses. The fee can be remitted through online or offline mode. Read below the details:

  • Payment of Application Fee via online mode can be done via Debit Card/Credit Card, Net Banking or Bank Transfer. It will require the candidate to fill the vendor code, his name, date of birth, city, moile number and email id.
  • Payment of Application Fee via offline mode can be done via Cash or Demand Draft. 

Note- While filling ATMA Application Form, candidates will be required to choose any 5 institutes on the basis of ATMA Scores. AIMS will then send these scores to the respective colleges. More than 700 colleges will be accepting the scores of ATMA. Further, these colleges will carry out their own eligibility and selection processes for the selection of candidates.
