GCET 2019 APPLICATION & REGISTRATION

GCET 2019 Application Form will be released in the month of April 2019. Aspiring candidates will have to fill the application form of GCET 2019 in their own handwriting and submit it in offline mode. However, candidates must note that there are 3 forms - Form A, Form B & Form C. The written exam of GCET 2019 will be conducted on May 8 (Physics & Chemistry) & May 9 (Mathematics) (Tentative). GCET result will be published form the second week of May 2019.

DTE Goa will conduct Goa CET or GCET 2019 on May 8 and 9 in pen and paper based mode for admissions to various undergraduate engineering programs. Before filling the application form of GCET 2019, candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria of GCET 2019 prescribed by the exam conducting.
Nationality: Candidates should Indian nationals. Candidates who are not having domicile or the citizenship certificate will not be eligible to apply for GCET 2019.
Age requirements: There is no age limit for candidates applying for any engineering program.
Domicile requirements: Candidates must have resided for a minimum period of 10 years. Candidates applying for concession in this must submit proof as specified
Examination Board: An applicant must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination of the Goa Board or an examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, or any other examination, which in scope and standard, is deemed to be equivalent to the H.S.S.C. examination of Goa Board
Qualifying marks: Applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (class XII) examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science /Biology, and secured not less than 45% in the aggregate of subjects of Physics & Mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology. Applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC category must have secured 40%.
Candidates who belong to the Kashmiri migrants category should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Class XII) examination or its equivalent examination with English, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology and secured not less than 45% marks in the subjects of Physics & Mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio Technology/Computer Science/Biology
Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering/B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as a subject at Std 10+2 at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, shall be eligible for admission to first year of engineering degree courses, subject to vacancies.
Candidates will have to choose their category while filling the GCET application form 2019. Candidates will have to provide a document certificate for their category as a proof during counselling and admission process.

SC Category (2%): There are 5 castes mentioned below which will be considered under the list of Scheduled Castes in the State of Goa. Candidates belonging to below mentioned castes will have to provide the caste certificate from Competent Authority with the view to avail all the benefits in Goa CET reservation criteria.

SC Category (12%): There are eight castes mentioned below. If there are candidates belonging any of these castes, they will be considered for the reservation benefits under Scheduled Caste in the State of Goa. Candidates belonging to this category, have to provide the caste certificate from Competent Authority for availing all the benefits in Goa CET 2019 reservation criteria.

After filling the application form of Goa CET (GCET) 2019, the candidates have to personally submit the application form along with the other required documents at the following addresses,
GCET application form submission is considered successful if it is done in person. Candidates are required to visit the center and personally submit the GCET Application along with the supporting documents. GCET applications sent through post or via somebody else will be rejected. The candidate must also be aware that incomplete applications, applications containing wrong information and damaged applications will also be rejected. The admit card will be obtained after successful submission of the GCET application. There are no other means to receive the admit card.
