The Peacock Summary

• Through the poem, the peacock is personified as ‘he’. The sound of the peacock is hard to track or located. It seems like the sound is from nowhere.
•  As it is actually hidden at the top of the peepal tree.
• The unique turquoise color of the peacock has been flashing in the green background of the peepal tree. If it finds any human observing him, he immediately moves its slender neck. And runs away as fast as possible, unfortunately, you could only see a glimpse of its tail.
• The poet now shares a small activity that she was told to do whenever or wherever she sees a peacock. An individual should sit on the veranda and read a favorite book with concentration. 
• When the reader gets lost in the book’s world, a blue shadow will fall on them. the wind changes the direction and the whole place becomes calm and quiet. 
• The sound of the peacock could be heard and this sound will seek attention. One gets to see the peacock without any delay.
• The peacock turns away gracefully with all its feathers on its tail. The feather has violet borders with golden amber, similar to the eye pattern all over it.
• The swinging tail is compared to the blinking of eyes but the patterns are constant. The person gets the joy and happiness of seeing shine and glitter which is spread deep inside your soul. It is a feeling one feels in the presence of such beauty.
