• The poem starts with the speaker saying that he is living in a world that is filled with numerous kinds of emotional physicality. This particular evening is a perfect example. 
• The evening is mesmerizing with the light, chill, and sky in yellow color. It is a portrayal of the sunset with all the resulting sights and sounds. 
• The world around the speaker is just calm filled with the singing of the birds from the garden. It is behind layers and layers of laurel bushes but the voice emerges as pure as one could imagine.
• The speaker defines the singing of birds as “Fresh-peeled” which means birds have never sung before. All these elements are so strong that they force a positive impact on the neighborhood. 
• The Speaker in the second half of the poem is looking at the time. He can see the coming spring and wished for its swift arrival. 
• The narrator shares how happy he feels with the arrival of spring. He compares a child’s feelings after reconciliation between adults. He does not know why it makes him blissfully happy.
