The Adventure Summary

Time Travelling is not an established theory, yet the author of this lesson Jayant Narlikar has created a perfect blend of history and science here. The central character of this story is Professor Gangadharpant Gaitonde, a history professor, and this story is all about his time-traveling adventures and imagination.

Professor Gangadharpant Gaitonde can time travel. In the beginning, he wanted to the past days of Bombay so that he can understand the history of Bombay city more appropriately.
He time-traveled to the past where he visited the Victoria Terminus Station and realized how different it was from the present. In this part, we get detailed descriptions of the station.
Next, the professor visited the East India Company Headquarters. through he could see a lot of British brands and offices are there, something made him confused. To get his thoughts straight, he visited a library and realized the British never ruled our country in this alternative past era.
After coming back to the present time, he shared his findings with his friend Professor Deshpande, who explained how the past can have a lot of dimensions.
At the end of the story the readers get to know that the professor is actually in a coma now, and as he was thinking about the Battle of Panipat just before his accident, these all imaginations are taking place.
