Remarks

The greenery of our college is unmatchable and it pleases me everytime I take a walk in the campus , so that is the best thing our our college. I think our college is great. But there is always a scope of improvement and hence updation is required with time. I think something can be done about the internet speed in the college. Also the equipment in labs needs to be updated.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum in NIT Kurukshetra is quite elaborate. The syllabus takes us in depth of the subject and it makes the subject all the more intriguing for us. Thus it is a good practice that is followed in course curriculum. The exam structure is such that there are two mid semester exams and one end semester exam in one particular semester. the course is divided in 8 semesters. A student has to pass both mid semester exams and end semester exams to completely pass the semester.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement and job opportunities are vast. one just has to work hard enough to grab those opportunities. Yes, my college provide internship too. There is a whole semester devoted to just internship. Students are given chance in different companies and then we have to go for internship in that whole semester. Stipend given for the internship is also hefty. I've been told by my seniors that all type of stipends are given by different companies. Like some give 90k/month , some give 75k/month, some give 50k/month and like that.

College Events

5

There is a cultural fest named Confluence being celebrated in our college. There is a technical fest being celebrated in our college named Techspardha. There is yet another cultural fest organised in our college named Utkarsh. There is Annual athletic meet named Citius organised by our college. There is also an Annual sports meet organised in our college. Apart for these college also provide for a little celebration on independence day, republic day and festivals like Diwali , Holi etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is feasible for most of the students. As the fee is prescribed on the basis of annual family income. So that factor helps a lot.also there are different types of scholarship given to deserving students which makes the fee structure even more feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is scholarship given to the department rankers of each semester. That means after every semester the departmental ranker gets an amount of 5000 as a scholarship for outstanding performance in the semester.

Campus Life

4

There are many extra curricular activities in our college. Different clubs and societies are made for drama, music , dance which enhance the interest in extra curriculars. Also labs are well maintened and equipped. There are lab attendant present in each lab who helps in performing all experiments prescribed. And sports facilities are wonderful too.there is a sports complex provided in our college where there is place for so many sports like basketball, football, cricket, badminton, handball, yoga , athletics etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I've opted for hostel and I would say that the hostel infrastructure and facilities are quite good. There is single rooms alloted to us. There is a facility of TV , table tennis , badminton, carrom and most importantly WiFi given to us.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes senior students in our college are very helpful. They never let us down in terms of helping in subject matter or otherwise.also the alumni network of our college is vast.and they visit our college very often and share their experiences of the outer world.

Admission

I gave JEE MAINS and my rank was in cutoff for the electrical engineering course in NIT Kurukshetra in the first round of Josaa counselling. I came to college and registered my seat here. Then counselling for further rounds went on and finally I took admission in NIT Kurukshetra.

Faculty

4.5

I think the faculties in NIT Kurukshetra are quite educated and qualified. They teach very well and keeps on motivating students to push their limits. I'm really thankful to my teacher for making me going in depth of subject to get an insight of what really lies in the topic. Teachers here talk about practical things more than theory which is an add on to getting things cleared out in our minds and all the concepts become visible then.

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.
