Remarks

The schedule is very hectic mostly based on academics and research. Social exposure is low. But the academics are excellent, on par with IITs. College is in Gachibowli and it is very easy to get things done.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

CSE. The CSE curriculum is tough and research-based with a continuous evaluation pattern by which we have exams every month. In the first and third months, we have quizzes and in the second we have a mid and in the last, we have an end examination. The labs are very frequent and we have a hectic schedule when there are more assignments.

Placement Experience

5

We have 100%placements. The average salary is 24 LPA as I remember and it is the highest in India. We have TAships where we can assist professors in teaching, and the stipend is 6000-7000 per month as far as I remember.

College Events

3.5

Major fests are Felicity and Felicity Buzz, also there are more technical fests like Vacation, hactober fest, Code Craft, and Capture the Flag and there are events for school children, generalists, and others that will be held every year during summer and winter holidays.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is pretty expensive. The fee for academics is 1,40,000 per semester which is 15,000 for the hostel and 18,0000 for food. A total of 1,90,000 per semester which sums up to 16 lakhs including all expenses for 4 years.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans are provided by alumni or SBI banks generally, which is very easy to obtain and is a normal education loan. These are the only types of loans available. Of these two bank loan is more convenient. The fee is paid by the bank per semester in submitting the fee demand letter.

Campus Life

4

Labs are often good. We have football, hockey, volleyball, lawn Tennis, martial arts, yoga, arts, gym and table tennis. We have snooker and table tennis to play in our leisure. The gender ratio is low and the college is taking measures to improve it.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel rooms are good and cleaned every 15 days it costs around 15,000 per semester and it is compulsory. We have to pay the additional electricity bill. For the first 6 semesters, it is shared and later we have individual rooms.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are really helpful in academics and in general issues. The interactions are good and very important in starting our life in college as most the seniors will be known then only. The Alumni network is small. They provide funding for startups in college.

Admission

Admission is by JEE MAIN mode. I scored 847 rank in MAINS, so I was admitted to this college. There is no interview it is purely based on MAINS rank. Also, there are more admission modes like from Olympiads, and SPEC mode.

Faculty

5

The faculty are highly qualified. 93% of the professors completed their PhD, and most of them are in the research stream and are very interested in their respective fields. At present, they are also into research apart from teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
