Remarks

Timings of the gates for girls. They are not allowed after 8:30 which is very misogynist and there are no privacy for couples and gaurds think its shameful for a girl and boy to wander together in the college campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is mainly based on bookish knowledge, there are some teachers who appreciate the practical work but some only appreciate good marks, laboratorues are well equipped and furbished

Placement Experience

4.5

College have a good placement and job opportunities. Yes college provides internships to its students or students from other colleges too. Last time microsoft hired a guy from It branch with a stipend of 4O LPA.

College Events

5

There are many events, even some cultural and technical fests like techspardha, utkarsh and confluence. Confluence is north india's second largest cultural fest, last time it was hosted by hero moto corp

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible and acoording to the economic stuation of every student. Those have annual family wages of less than 1lac per annum will have to pay only around 10k and those who have annual family wages more than 5 lacs per annum have to pay 72k as their tution feeand the rest in between have to pay 32 k

Fees and Financial Aid

There are student aids for financially poor students. Scholarship for backward castes and medical loans and every student gets an assured medical insurance for maximum 3 lakh.students can have scholarships thourough sports too

Campus Life

4.5

Gender ratio is 9 boys on one girl. Students can't party in hostel they have to go outside nit campus for organising them, labs are for every course and well equipped. There are teams for i think every sport in our NIT, Kurukshetra

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are very good and well equiped, ther are a total of 11 boys hostel and 4 girls hostel, they are distributed among students according to their year of persuing engineering.it's cheaper than someone who wants to stay out in pgs

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni networks are strong. They remain in touch via social sites and clubs in the college. Seniors are super helpful, and no signs of ragging in the institute. There are strict rules for anti ragging.

Admission

First you have to give a joint entrance exam for engineering colleges all over india, then colleges are allotted on the basis of the ranks of students.a student with low ranks gets a college with low placements or low reviews, and a high ranker can have many choices from low to high according to its ranking scheme

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college is well educated and mannered but some of them have a wrecking attitude over students like they will have to do whatever the teacher asks or they will degrade their marks or detain or no TA marks

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.
