Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is balanced to help students in following process in a way to teach them. This helps students to easily understand the concepts related to any of the topic. The teachings by the college are quite helpful in dealing with the interview and further job situations.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

Internships are generally in 3rd year. Many companies come in 1st and 2nd semester of 4th year for placement in college.

College Events

There are many events by bits goa like quarks, waves,spree, Tedx and many more. These events are based on cultural and technical fests to encourage students to come forward and participate in extra curricular activities. All these events happen every year. Many students from other colleges also perform in these fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive Fees is between 4-5 lakhs and increasing annually by 10-15%. There is transparency in fee breakdown provided by the college in their website. They have their own website where they mention the complete details regarding admission and fees related stuffs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Their are main loan opportunity from SBI bank and other Banks. Scholarships available on the basis of CGPA.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is unbalanced. Containing more boys than girls. Only 100 girls in 1000 size batch. College helping students for their extracurricular activities and sports. Different hostels are provided for boys and girls. Mess facilities are good as per students.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, hostel rooms are quite good. It's good for students and seats are comfortable. We can sit in hostals with our roomate or we may have single room. It's compulsory to have roomate in first year but after that we have choice to have roommate or not.

Alumni/Alumna

They are quite helpful and interactive by guiding students to solve their doubts. They encourage students to ask doubts in the classes.

Admission

By giving examination of bits pilani on May month, I got admission in this college. Now the examination is available on online platform. There is a cutoff for every branch to get admission in the respective interested branch. The exam contains 5 major sections. These are physics, chemistry,maths, maths and mental ability.

Faculty

Lecturers are helping and guide students to solve their doubts. Average age is around 35 years. Some are young PhD teachers while some are experienced faculties. They also have some industry and work experience which they share with students to help them to deal with real-world situation.

internship opportunities in my college

Likes

I like the personal mentorship for every student
I like placement opportunities given to the student
i like the environment of the college and practical work

i dont like the class timings and length
i dont like the prayer system at morning
i dont like college timing and regularly wearing college dress

in semester 6th the student is eligible for campus placements one of the company is techo tech highest pacakge of my college is 72 lacs per annum and average package is 4 lacs per annum there is 100% placement rate

I would rate the course curriculum as very good. It covers important topics and provides useful theoretical and practical knowledge. The syllabus is relevant to our field of study and helps develop our skills. However, including more practical sessions and industry-related topics would make the curriculum even better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

University of engineering and management jaipur is very good for faculty bahavior but it is not good for campus facilities and other facilities. Uem jaipur is not supported for students a event organised.

Likes

the class timings are really flexible that is maximum 5 hours in a day
there are a lot of fun events in college every other day
the male to female ratio is approx 1:1 and both genders jam well with each other

Dislikes

the money factor i would say is one thing which doesnt add up if placements are considered
the freedom provided here might not be the best for everyone u need to have self control over yourself
people here can get too entitled and the pda inside might bother you but you will find your people

the cirriculum is designed in a way such that most of the outdated and uselss things are removed this year and the labs of each subjects help you well enough to dive deeper into the application of the subject . some areas for improvement can be removing unnecessary subjects like manufacturing process for cse students . main exams are held every 3 months and the difficulty is moderate

Friendly Teachers - treat you warmly and respectfully.
No severe Attendance Criteria or Extra marks deduction.
Many Seminars included throughout the course.

Dislikes

Architectural issues, building without repairs and many damages, no parks or playground for sports and activities.
Damaged computers and conjusted computer labs.
Need to revise the syllabus for CSE/IT as it is not keeping up with current tech.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

Placement services are good and also companies like Google and microsoft comes to visit our campus.
Quality of infrastructure is like a Nit as they focus on giving best building and infrastructure with good curriculum too. Advanced technologies and amenities are awesome.
Course curriculum is relevant and rigorous practice of real world applications problem helps in cracking big company's interview

I choose this course because here the course is relevant and infrastructure is good also they give scholarship to study here . Curriculum helps very well in improving real world applications in day to day life . Teaching methods are impressive but some times it looks like a burden as they give load to students in improving themselves so this thing they should improve . Timing of the exams are of 3 hours . Their exam pattern is like other government college but they take exam strictly. Difficulty level is medium level .

Likes

Supportive and knowledgeable faculty team.
Well maintained campus with good labs, classrooms and internet connectivity.
Placement team puts efforts and many students get placed in reputed companies.

Dislikes

Cafeteria options and food quality can defineiely be improved.
Hostel infrastructure lacks proper maintenance and hygeine.
Limited exposure to hands in industry projects.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from fourth year. Most companies come for software development, data scientist, ai ml roles. The major recruiters are google, microsoft, deshaw, goldman sachs, flipkart,deloitte, hashedin, samsung. The highest package was 45 lakhs and average was around 13 lakhs.

Remarks:

College management Director was corrupted person he was the one who charged extra examination fees from student. Mark sheet of school and other important document has been kept by them till final year so that even if student wants to change the college they cannot.

The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey.
