There are both pros and cons about the college. I would expect the college to maintain the pros and put some light on cons as well.
Course Curriculum Overview
The workshops conducted in the department got some exposure to the industry and helped in understanding it's standards. Having technical skills helped me in cracking interviews easily and had two offer letters in my hand before completion of my degree. The placement training provided has also helped me in many ways.
Placement Experience
Placements are pretty good here. Having percentage criteria and a good communication skill would fetch you a job easily.
College Events
Kannada rajyotsava,cultural fest, ethnic day etc. Kannada rajyotsava being our state festival, it was being slcelebratef very grandly. Here all types of karnataka's culture was highlighted. And the best part was the non-kannadigas enjoying this celebration and taking part in the activities is note-worthey
Fee Structure And Facilities
Other than the fixed cet fee, we had to pay some extra fees as the college fee. Being a general merit student and had no options of scholarships etc, felt the fee is quite expensive. There was nothing such as fee-breakdown. We were expected to pay within the month of college reopen.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was some scholarships given by the government as epass. For availing that scholarship check we were illtreated and were charged an extra amount of 200rupees for availing our own money.
Campus Life
It was a pretty good one. My batch mates were truly fun to be around. We enjoyed each and every activities being oragnized. But still the focus has to be improved on extra curricular activities and should be very supportive to them. Taking students opinion in organizing activities has to be done.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, we had very friendly scenarios. Infact they never hesitated their interview experience which really helped us. And we still try to keep in touch with them
Admission
Based on my cet ranking. We had a chance of choosing any number of colleges. As I was interested in IT I chose this course. This college was been alloted in one of the cet rounds, based on the transportation facility availability and the environment made me choose this college.
Faculty
Some lecturers are highly qualified, some have done their masters. Regardless of their qualifications they were supportive to the students regarding their studies and placements. Conucting workshops was a good initiative taken from our department which gave an opportunity to meet some wonderful resource persons.
