Remarks

You have to qualify the JEE process and attain a good rank to get in. The NIRF ranking was 41 in 2019 and then 40 in 2020. The campus area is more than 320 acres and greenary is one of the features of this institute. Apart from this, Kurukshetra is one of the ancient cities of India from Mahabharata times. NIT Kurukshetra is the one of the best NIT in Northern India. They offer C.S,I.T, ECE, Electrical, Mechanical,Civil and Production engineering branches for BTech. They also offer degree in a vast category in MTech, MBA, MCA, PH.ed. It is one of those NITs which offers more than BTech and Mtech.

Course Curriculum Overview

Institute is in my terms, is the place where you enjoy company with your same age group and that's it. Anything you want to learn you have to involve yourself in it. Exams are taken from your syllabus so you should complete it from exams. In a semester, there are two midterm exams and one end term.Mid term is 15 marks, and the End term is 50 marks. So total 80 marks from exams and rest 10 marks from attendance and 10 marks from the assignment, counts 100.

Yes, internships are from 3rd year. Many opt for the internship. Also, many students are opting for IAS, IES and Gate preparation.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year you are eligible for the internship. You will get placement from 4th year. This year's maximum offered package was 43 lakhs with an average of 8 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the BTech course is 62500 + other charges makes it around 71000 per semester. But you can avail scholarship on the basis of Income of your family. A family whose income is in between 1 lakh to 5 lakh get 2/3 remission on tuition fees. Less than 1 lakh get full remission. More than 5 lakhs, normal fee structure

Campus Life

NIT Kurukshetra campus is one of the beautiful, greenary, clean campuses of all over NITs. We also have a swimming pool. Classrooms are well equipped with digital boards, Normal boards, projector, lighting, Air conditioners, and level by level benches. The library is good. You can get all types of books in it. There is two official fests in the campus Techspardha and Confluence which are the most awaited fest of Northern India. Their budget is in one of the top listed fest budgets. You will get a tour of the campus as well as the city in the introduction classes.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are great. In the first year you have to accommodate 3 people for boys but single for girls. After 1st year you will get you a single private room. Mess food is the mess food and you know.

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Placements are available for final year and June and students generally become eligible from the 7th semester companies from it software and management sectors visit the campus placements opportunity at Decent with package wearing according to company and student scale I plan to build a strong technical skills so internship and projects and aim for a good job in aml field after graduation

My Experience in JC Bose University

Likes

I like the claim and composed environment, no one shouting or making noise
Each buliding have lift which help reach higher floor easily
Having strong alumni association which help student get placement

Dislikes

I don't like the paper work delay during the admission after paperwork
Campus less crowded places are not maintained very well
Older buliding classes don't have ac in the classroom

In Electrical course we have many kind have course which design for solving various kind of problem in field , BSC ( Basic science course ) , ESC ( Engineering Science Course ) , DSC ( Disciplinary specialized Course ) , VAC ( Value Added Course ). Professors teaches with real life example and use 3D shape and animation to explain things easily.

Likes

The college is spread across 300 acres of lush green campus with a lot of greenery everywhere. The weather is also very pleasant
The infrastructure of the college is well maintained with proper department and parks . The labs are well equipped with the necessary equipment required for the practical knowledge of the student.
Sports facilities are also top notch in the college and also gym is provided in the sports ground.

Dislikes

In rainy season water stands in the hostels making it difficult to move in and out of the hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of the college is decent one with average package of about 12-14 LPA amd about 85% students are placed every year. Students can apply for placements after 2nd year and companies like JP Morgan , microsoft, Hero , ICICI Bank , etc. Visit the college

Genuine and Biased review

Likes

Wifi facility is available in hostels and in some classrooms
Teachers are quite good and they are very helpful

Dislikes

Placement are not good in dcrust one some some students get placed with maximum packed of 9 lakhs minimum 2.5 lakhs
Course curriculum is not updated they are not helpful in modern time.
Girls and boys ratio are not upto the mark.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Placement at college is average mostly 80% of students are placed in this college student is eligible for placement from the 7th semester. Companies like Airtel, Infosys, Wipro, and swiggy, mostly company visit here highest package in 2023 is approx. 28 LPA and the average package is 5-6 LPA.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it

This college is in tier 1 nits and also it has given many great alumni which are one of the main reasons to go for this college . NIT KURUKSHETRA: An Honest Review

The key reason for my choice of NIT KKR college was it has affordable fee structure , good campus cirriculum. Admissions are based on JEE Mains, followed by JOSAA/CSAB counselling. Candidates must have at least 75% in class 12 or be in top 20 percentile of their board. Cutoff and Seat Allocation:- General category:-For cs/it candidate rank must be in 5k-10k. Other branches require less ranking. OBC/EWS/SC/ST : Lower rank benefits due to reservation quota. There is female quota too just to increase boys:girls ratio in engineering colleges. There is state reservation of 50% in all NIT's. Admission Process:- JOSAA counselling:-Students list their prefernces based on JEE rank, and seats are allocated accordingly.
