Remarks

College life is awesome, lively and electrifying always. Management and teaching facaulity was excellent. There was always besides the teaching a coordial relationship was there among the professors and the students.

Entrance Preview

There was no entrance examination but the admissions were purely on the basis of the academic marks obtained by an individual. This college I choose because I belong to haryana and got electrical engineering which was in very well demand in those days beyond all other engineering courses this was the top most brach considered in those days.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The courses were based on the particular trade bases i.e. electronics ,electrical, Mechanical Civil engineering beside these there were english in first year voyrse along with mathematics ,Physics, Chemistry also were the subjects.

Internships Opportunities

The internship was purely on your own efforts and there was most of the time no stipend was offered in those days. The references of the individuals were matter for doing the internships in particular factory. The college had nothing to do with the internship and even after the college I.e. in pre final year of the courses there were virtually no placements procedure in those days except for denese services that too Grey few students in take.

Placement Experience

1.5

The was campus placements only done by the defense services basically army and some air force. There was no other campus placements in those olden days.

College Events

3.5

The were anoromous celebrations thought the year and inter college celebrations were with pump and show. The sports events were done on the annual basis.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was on the basis of semi annually and being the state owned college fees was minimal and affordable. The fees were normally paid at the beginning of the each of the semester and that too in cash. There was no other charges to be paid NY us examinations fees was inclusive in the semi annual fees structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was one scholarship ship called Merit- cum- Means which I' m aware of was provided to the meritorious and needy students only.

Campus Life

5

The campus life was very active and always so or other activities were there as indoor games of TT and carrom board was very much full of enthusiasm and there were always active participation. As far as laboratory was concerned the facility wise was of University level but there was less time debates or no robotics.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facility was moderate and mess was run on cooperative basis the hostel for first and second year students were dormatary where in one room for students were sharing one room but in final and pre- final year we were provided cubicles to the individuals.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumini network is the best and so much so active and intrection among the ex- students and also the ex- faculity is very much alive. As the Kurukshetra E engineering college which is now a days known as NIT Kurukshetra was actually Regional Engineering College Kurukshetra in the state of Haryana. The our college started in year 1965 and this year it is completed 50 years and to celebrate the golden jublee of the college a galla celebration is being organized.

Exam Structure

The examinations were based on the semi annually basis and the tutorials examinations for internal assessment was conducted either on weekly basis or on the lecturer completion of one particular portion of studies.

Faculty

5

The faculty was very very excellent in their own subjects and very interactive with the students. There were professor who were even after the college timings were interested in interaction with the engineering students beside those who were staying in the hostels along with the students. Some were warden of the particular hostel in which they were staying.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered with many companies visiting (700-800+). Highest packages can go high (Rs 30-56 LPA), but averages and typical offers vary (~ Rs 6-7 LPA), and placements rates differ by batch. Some students also pursue internships or off-campus jobs if campus offers are limited.

Placement Experience:

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.
