I found information regarding ramjas college, one of the top. College in Delhi University by college unit website. I preferred this college as it is the top college for mathematics in Delhi University having the best teacher to deal with. The admission procedure is quite easy you will not face any issue while going through admission.
Only reason for choosing this course was my interest in mathematics. I love mathematics so I prefer this course. Therefore I searched for the best college for myself where I can get good faculty and students and a good environment. And I found ramjas college which has the best faculty for mathematics. Exams are conducted timely.
From the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus selection. Many companies visit our college with various good offers. The highest package any student can grab is 10 lakh with a minimum is 3 to 4lakh.percentage of students receiving placements fully depends on their performance. For many years 30 to 40 percent of students have got it. I planned to get good placements and further build my career.
Fees are collected differently after reviewing many conditions. We get ample opportunity to get Job placement is also too good after looking at every aspect i decided to have my admission in this college.
Campus life is quite happy. We have many opportunities to enjoy and discover ourselves. Many fests, cultural activities are scheduled each year on a specific month. Like department wise fest happens in t.he month of January to march. Now coming to the classroom, I will not say we have the best classroom in terms of infrastructure but surely in terms of facility, it is quite remarkable. We have a very good library providing important books from time to time. Vishalakshi foundation is run in our college once I was also part of it.
There is no placement cell in the college as per my knowledge. However, teachers help us out with internships. Companies like Nestle, Cadbury, max, etc visit here with internship offers. After getting the degree, I plan to crack entrance examinations to get admission in MSc. In one of the best Food technology colleges like CFTRI, etc.
I didn't totally decline that campus placement is offered but the ratio of placement of our college is not good. Some companies visit campus for placement but there is less in number and they offer less package. I recommend if you looking for campus placement, then this college is not for you. Hardly 3 out of 10 students get placement. Now talking about other than placement then most students are preparing for government exams like UPSC, SSC and some are preparing for IIT jam, GMAT etc. I planned to do post-graduation after my under graduation and after that preparing for UPSC.
Campus placement is a little off from last 2-3 years. But internships are being provided in top notch companies like Nestle, Britannia, DMS, Mother Diary, Patanjali and so on. Most of the students opt for higher studies after graduation. Some of our seniors has got into Niftem, BHU, IIFT and other prestigious institutions for their post graduation.
Lots of placement comes in the 3rd or final year of college. A lot of students get placement and some don't. Some companies give the highest packages but some don't. Many give 1.2lacs per year package as they are hiring Freshers but later on salaries can be increased according to your performance but mostly commerce and art sides get more placements
Our college doesn't provide placement for undergraduates but excellent placements are offered for post-graduate. DU itself is a very good and renowned University hence its fame helos the students to get good placements My aim after completing my undergraduate is to do post-graduation
The placement cell of the college is very much active. The placement package is quite good. But it depends much on the qualification of the candidate that how's s/he has performed. Otherwise, college placement is all good as the reputation enjoyed by the college is attentive. Many alma matters are very much famous, which make internship companies and placement companies fall for Hansraj college. So in literal terms, college placement is no less than others. ( As per many seniors, the average package goes like 3-4 lakh per annum to 7 -9 lakhs per annum). It may rise high, depending on the qualification of student and level of the company.
LSR has an active Placement Cell, the highlight of the college. It brings internship opportunities and job offers for its students. It is headed by 5 coordinators, 2 sub-coordinators, a Research & Training Head and a Treasurer, who are supported by 31 department representatives, 25 members and 11 core team members. LSR brings in internship opportunities for the first, second and third-year students including summer internship programs for the second and third years. Bank of America, HUL, Puma and Citibank have recruited interns. In the academic year 2019-20, 100 companies visited the campus to offer jobs to students of which 110 were recruited. Industry giants like McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, LEK Consulting, Accenture, Gartner, FTI Consulting, Citibank and EY Parthenon were invited. Despite the economic slump due to COVID-19, the highest package offered was INR 30 LPA and the average package was INR 9.4 LPA.
The placement of the college is very good from the 2nd semester you become eligible for campus placement. There are 20-30 companies who visited for the interview and the lowest package is 5-6 lakhs and the maximum package is 25-30 lakhs. There are 80% of the students got their placement in their college time and earn many more from that. I want to go for civil services after my graduation.
Placements are good but for students of commerce, mathematics or computer sciences. But for my course that is botany there are not good job offers atleast for the graduate students. Mostly student prefers to undergo masters after graduation. But if you want a job you can get that through placement cell but they dont pay well. Deloitte, Accenture, TCS, etc many renowned companies as well as startup companies offer jobs.
At that time I was facing some health issues as this college is nearer to me comparatively to other so I opted for it. Also the college is surrounded by lots of plants and trees so you feel absolutely fresh all the time. Brings positivity.
