Remarks

At a time when COVID-19 has made the physical process of admissions impossible,While it is difficult to say for certain what could have led to it, the university administration believes one main reason is the admission portal being open for longer than usual. Registration began on June 20 and closed on August 31. University started the process much before any other central or state university and we were open for almost 10 weeks. So that could have led to an increase in applications. Last year the registration portal was open for a little less than a month. To be eligible for UG courses at Ramjas college, students need to pass 10+2 level with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Mathematics is one constant subject and language spoken universally in our education systems whether primary or higher level. Its definition varies and depends in which field you are in. It is a basic component of subjects varying from Physics to Economics. BSc (H) Mathematics at The NorthCap University is not a course to simply drop into and is taught on the presumption that students will have a real understanding of basic concepts of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics before beginning the course. University enrolls students who have performed well in Mathematics at school and further education level before applying. This degree course helps students in building a concrete foundation base for pursuing higher studies.

Internships Opportunities

This family has grown multi-fold over the years with the session 2020-21 registering growth in comparison to the year before, owing to its exquisite leadership, ever dedicated team and unwavering support from its convenors and the college administration at large. Moreover , the pandemic did not hold us back as we continued to help the students in every way possible and constantly guide and provide them with gratifying opportunities. Throughout this pandemic, we've kept ourselves strong and stable. We have endlessly continued to serve Ramjas College and provide students with the best chances to gain immeasurable work experiences through Internships, live projects, webinars, job opportunities and much more. Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of my course in my Ramjas college is 14000/- rupees for one year, which in my opinion is affordable for many students. There has been no hike of fee of the college in the past several years because Ramjas College is a part of Delhi University and the college cannot take decisions related to fees on its own. There are no scholarships available in the college and no financial assistance is provided to the students which is justified because the fees are already very low. I have little idea about the scholarships but I got to know from some of my friends that there are some available for different quotas. The placement cell is full of hard-working people. I grabbed a lot of opportunities like internships, connections with alumni through webinars, and many more.

Campus Life

4

I am a student of Ramjas College and about to complete my second year. I have learned many things there, about life, Delhi, politics, talent and the most important thing, people don't give a shit about anything until and unless they are involved with something. In the beginning of the new session I had noticed a slight aversion among the students regarding this obc, st ,sc. It's all because they think they are somewhat superior as they had scored 96-97% and got admission by the time second or third cu off was released. Mosaic is the annual cultural fest of Ramjas College.Though, not a very popular festival in North Campus,Mosaic never fails to attract crowd in large numbers with an equally high level of talent for its various competitions on campus. In the past Fawad Khan,Alia Bhatt,Sidharth Malhotra and Anushka Manchanda have attended this festival. The College Campus is among the best in Delhi with a state of the art Library, Computer section, among other facilities. The College has bui

Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
