Remarks

The admission here is on the basis of your jee mains score. You have to qualify for the jee main exam and you will get the college on the basis of percentile you have got. Better you will score better the branch you will get.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I got this branch on the basis of my percentile in jee main. The faculties here are quite good they will help you whenever you need them. But of course you will not hope that all teachers teach well. There were two mid sem exams and after that end sem exams. Mid sem exams are hard as compared to end sem exam.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internships started here in the 3rd year. Whole 6th sem is fir internship. Many companies visited here. And if you will not get any internship the you can apply for off campus. Or else works on your projects.

Placement Experience

3.5

Cs and it placements are excellent here. But getting placements in other branches like mechanical and civil are very difficult but obviously not impossible if you work hard and learn to code you will get placed in IT companies as many companies allow all branches students for interview. Placements in cs are around 88% and in IT is 85% but the placements in civil are only 20%. The average package is 10 lakhs and for civil it is 6.5lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are about 62500rs per semester and some other additional charges like exam fees, security fees. But here tuition fees also depend on your parent's income. Gen, obcs students having parents income less than 1 lakh have zero tuition fees. Income between 1lakh to 5lakh have to pay one-third of total tuition fees. Sc students tuition fees are nil.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life here is excellent. You will gonna enjoy four years of your life here. There are many clubs here like the yoga club, such , infrastructural society, etc. Sports activities here are great. You will find each and every sports ground here. Basketball ,volleyball, badminton courts are also in hostel.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

You have been given a bed, a study table, and one almirah in your room. In the first year you will be provided a three-seater room and after that a single-seater room. The food here is of average quality. There is one pg which is about 2km from the college.

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

NIT KURUKSHETRA: An Honest Review

The key reason for my choice of NIT KKR college was it has affordable fee structure , good campus cirriculum. Admissions are based on JEE Mains, followed by JOSAA/CSAB counselling. Candidates must have at least 75% in class 12 or be in top 20 percentile of their board. Cutoff and Seat Allocation:- General category:-For cs/it candidate rank must be in 5k-10k. Other branches require less ranking. OBC/EWS/SC/ST : Lower rank benefits due to reservation quota. There is female quota too just to increase boys:girls ratio in engineering colleges. There is state reservation of 50% in all NIT's. Admission Process:- JOSAA counselling:-Students list their prefernces based on JEE rank, and seats are allocated accordingly. Document verification:-Required documents include JEE scorecard, class 10/12th marksheet and income certificate for fee waivers. Pay intial fees and confirm your seat....Read More
