Remarks
All the general courses are available here like if anyone can pursue their graduation in CS, IT, ECE, ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL, CIVIL, PRODUCTION, AND INDUSTRIAL. For general categories maximum rank required in jee mains to enroll in any one of them is 26000(boys), 30(girls), 35000( home state quota), 40000(obc), and 1.2lac(sc/st). If we talk about reservation benefits one can get a refund of a certain amount of their fees if the family income is low or they are sc/st.
Course Curriculum Overview
Because I had a very keen interest in mechanical concepts and physics(mechanics) so I chose mechanical engineering here. Here faculty is so good around 1:10 is the faculty to students ratio. Even there is time to workshops are conducted to clarify the doubts of the students. Every faculty has a minimum qualification of MTech or Ph.D. from a recognized college. Exams levels are not ao tough and almost every month or two months there will be an exam.
Internships Opportunities
Major companies like DRDO, HPCL, TATA, MARUTI, MAHINDRA, BAJAJ, etc. Come for recruitment for internship programs. They generally hire for 6 months and train them according to industrial needs. They were allotted the projects which are based on the subjects they have read in their academic classes. So it's a bit interactive and more practical implementation.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements. Every year around 50+ companies come for placements of mechanical students and a track record of 98% placement is maintained every year( except covid). The only criteria for getting placed is to maintain a 7+ cgpa in your academics.
Fees and Financial Aid
I was the only one out of 10 students who got an internship in Bajaj for 6 months at the pay of 20k. And even I got placed in Bajaj auto ltd. Total till now 60% of my batch is placed and highest placement in my class if of 38 lacs.
Campus Life
The library is so huge. You'll get to know about all the availability of books and journals on the online book station box. Every year there are 3 types of fest organized one cultural known as confluence, technical known as techspardha and every year there is a sporting event. And there are so many groups and clubs.
Hostel Facilities
For freshers, there are 3 hostels (mini hostels) and for seniors and pg students, there are 5 mega hostels and one cafeteria also where you can have snacks and tea till 2 am. For rent or pg you can have a room near the college in a 2 km circle area. The process of registration of college is simply while the admission process.
