Remarks

I applied for IIT / NIT'S and BITS only and decided to go to BITS because I was getting a regional branch. I did not receive any acceptance assignment because BITS follows a strict no-quota policy. Admission to all BITS campuses is firmly based on your performance on the annual BITSAT exam. After taking the BITSAT exams you will be invited to register for the admission process and there will be 6 repetitions where different streams will be offered based on your BITSAT result. there is not any reservation/Quota of any kind.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is highly industry-oriented and is constantly updated to keep up with the real world. Faculty: student rate is very healthy and currently stands at 1:20. All the faculties are highly trained and most of them have a Ph.D. degree and their teaching method is very interactive. Term tests are conducted at the end of each semester during the semester and other questions are repeated during the semester. The dual-degree course is considered a shortcut to branch entry CS, EEE, EC with a low bid rate, and the college is said to be compared to the top 5 IITs with dignity and best placement. internship program.

Internships Opportunities

5

BITS runs its internship program called Practice School-II (PS II) which ensures job training for all students in their 4th year. This program is mandatory for all 4-year students more than 150 companies who come to the center will offer internships with an excellent stipend. The stipend was in the range of 10000 / month as high as 200000 / month. Most companies have offered IT / Finance roles and only a few companies have come to offer key roles. It comes out of a pool of 800 companies in the summer after the second year and one semester in their final year as part of the curriculum for companies like Google, Apple, Cisco, Flipkart, PayPal, Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, Uber, Udaan, etc. According to CGPA. The monthly fee ranges from 20k to 200k, with an average of about 50k.

Placement Experience

4.5

BITS is known for its outstanding placement as it attracts all major employers including FAANG companies for campus installation. Students are eligible from the beginning of their 4th year to stay to receive admission. More than 200 companies visited the campus last year and more than 1000 offers were made. About 90% of eligible students were enrolled in the final enrollment season. The highest package was 43lpa provided by Microsoft and the lowest package was 6lpa provided by Rao IIT. I also plan to stay to be installed next year. Unlike other colleges, students receive 3 placement courses from one degree and 4 routes from two degrees. The standard CTC for all branches (via BITSAT) included 22+ LPA for the latest placement season. Also, Pilani made higher points in mid-range packages than IIT Bombay according to India Today and data on the NIRF website.

Fees and Financial Aid

BITS is an extremely expensive learning center as it takes about 18 lakhs for 4-year courses. It raises its annual income by 5-7% due to inflation. However, it also offers a Merit-Cum-Need scholarship if your annual income is less than 11 LPA which reduces the financial burden to some degree. CG> 6 can get you a guaranteed scholarship under this program, you can also apply for a TA'ship (Teacher Assistant) that pays the right amount to cover your daily expenses. All semester fees may be paid in 2 installments. Teachings: Merit-based, MCN, SAF. MCN details - if you can prove that your family income is less than 12 LPA (updated annually) you will get the following: 15% Discount of at least 6 CGPA. 25% Discount on at least 6.5 CGPA. 40% Discount on at least 8 CGPA. 80% Discount on at least 8.5 CGPA.

Campus Life

5

The annual celebration of our college is called Oasis held in the month of Oct-Nov, a 5-day event in which colleges participate across the country. The Technical Fest is called APOGEE which is held in March each year. The center also has a large library with a lot of books and all the major journals are registered. Classes are equipped with all the necessary equipment such as air-conditioners, projectors, and recording equipment. Classes are well lit and all lectures are recorded allowing students to access all lectures via the campus intranet. The campus also has state-of-the-art sports infrastructure and there are more than 80 clubs that can allow students to pursue almost everything they want.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are within the campus only. Two-year residential rooms, single and double occupants in the second year and separate living rooms from the third year. Mess Foods is privately managed by 2 standard providers who have food supplies 4 times a day. Food is better than what you get at home and probably healthier too. Alternative offer of Jain, Non veg, or any other special requirement. Hostels are spacious and have basic amenities found within walking distance. You could offer a bed, a table, a chair, and a closet. One can find a LAN port or wi-fi to use the internet. The speed is decent during the day and improves as the night progresses (safe to say, you are lucky if you are an owl). In case you are wondering, there is no AC in the hostel rooms. Although one of the first year hostels has a central cooling system. There will be times when there will be power outages in extreme weather. But hey, what a life without a little struggle.

Other Applied Colleges
