Remarks

I always want to go to IITs and nits. But sometimes what we want will not happen. So, I decided to go to BITS because at that time I thought that after NIT there is BITs which is private but provides good placements. I am not able to get direct admission to my college because there is no donation quota policy. It is only based on the BITSAT exam. If your BITSAT score is eligible then you will get admission to your preferred branch. There is no reservation policy.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Our college is not textbook based. It is completely based on the practical world to make you highly eligible for the industries. According to my knowledge, I think the faculty: student ratio is 1:25. Of course students are more than faculty members. In my class, all teachers are having PhD degrees and are capable to make you industry ready. Term exams are basically conducted at the end of every semester and they are pretty difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

5

You do not need to take tension about an internship in BIT'S because it provides an internship program to help you in job training in your 4th year. Approximately more than 100-150 companies provide internship opportunities. The most common companies that provide internships are- Google, Cisco, Credit Suisse, etc.

Placement Experience

5

You do not have to take tension about placement if you are taking admitted here especially for the CSE branch because BITs is better known for outstanding placement. You are eligible to get a job from the beginning of the 4th year. Every year more than 150-200 companies visit the campus for placement drives. Approximately 85-90% of students get placed every year. The highest package is 40 LPA provided by Microsoft and the lowest package is 6 LPA and the average package is approximately 9 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

I think all of you already know that BITS is very expensive. And yes you are right. It takes approximately 18 lakhs for 4 year of CSE course. But it also provides a scholarship that if your father's annual income is less than 12LPA then it reduces your fee to some extent. But for that, you have to score at least 6 CGPA. If your father's annual income is less than 12 LPA then you will get a scholarship as follows:- 15% discount for at least 6 CGPA, 25% discount for at least 6.5 CGPA, 40% discount for at least 8 CGPA and finally 80% discount for at least 8.5 CGPA.

Campus Life

5

If you take admission here then your life will be all set. You will attend many annual fests and tech fests here. Some of them are Oasis, Apogee, etc. Oasis is basically an annual fest that is generally held in October-November every year. It is a 5-day event in which many other colleges participate. Apogee is a tech fest that is held in March every year. There is also a very big library which contains a lot of books for your preference. In class, there is AC, projector and all other things that are required for your better study. There are also many clubs for you which also gives a certificate that plays an important role during placements.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostels are very big and attractive. There are mostly Non-AC hostels except one hostel that is for first-year students. The best thing is that the hostels are within the college campus so you don't have to walk any more. Mess foods are up to the mark and are healthier also. They provide mess food 4 times in a single day. For vegetarians there is veg and for non-vegetarian there is non-veg. In rooms, there is one bed, one table, one chair and one cupboard. Wifi facility is also available in the rooms. And last but not least here you will definitely enjoy it more than your home.

The course is well structured and designed for students to learn the subject in detail and to know about topics in detail and make sure to understand things clearly before implementing them in real life. There are certain areas for improvement but they will keep get better. Timetable should be made such that students get break in between the classes so that they can be less exhausted throughout the day

Obviously there is a campussing process that gives the students the opportunity to get their desired job. You can also go off campus to get bigger opportunity, but it will be on your head only that means it's a risk. But the average placement provided by the university is 6 lakhs and the highest one is 72 lakhs per annum.
