Remarks

Admission is granted through hee main One has to attempt to jee after 12th and score a decent percentile to get admitted here you will be admitted though jossa counseling in your desired course according to rank. The reservation policy is the same as the central government

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty-student ratio is poor. I chose this course due to my rank. Exams are conducted thrice in one semester Two mid semesters and one end semester. Faculty are mostly good and educated but their teaching method is a formality

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are also provided on campus. In the 6th sem, you have to do a mandatory project or internship. Campus, an internship can be grabbed by skilled students. Many companies come and take them forward.

Placement Experience

3.5

Campus placements are awesome here. This NIT in terms of placement is very nice. It provides a great opportunity as many mnc arrive here to recruit good quality students. Cs it branch is completely placed every year and core branches have slightly low placement but if you have skills you will surely get placed no matter what your branch is

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good not much high . For the sc category, the tuition fee is zero. Jobs are given by placement companies that arrive in 4th year. Fee hile occurs slowly. You can get an education loan easily from a bank inside the campus

Campus Life

The sports culture is awesome. The word Haryana itself is sufficient for defining sports here. There are two fests cultural one is confluence and the tech is techspardha. they occur annually clubs are very good and interactive very talented people are here

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are good. Well-hygienic and comfortable. mess food is a big concern in some hostels and some hostels have good edible food. The room is provided with a bed without a mattress and a table is there. A ceiling fan and electricity connection and well ventilation

Hostel Fee: INR 114000 per year

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

NIT KURUKSHETRA: An Honest Review

The key reason for my choice of NIT KKR college was it has affordable fee structure , good campus cirriculum. Admissions are based on JEE Mains, followed by JOSAA/CSAB counselling. Candidates must have at least 75% in class 12 or be in top 20 percentile of their board. Cutoff and Seat Allocation:- General category:-For cs/it candidate rank must be in 5k-10k. Other branches require less ranking. OBC/EWS/SC/ST : Lower rank benefits due to reservation quota. There is female quota too just to increase boys:girls ratio in engineering colleges. There is state reservation of 50% in all NIT's. Admission Process:- JOSAA counselling:-Students list their prefernces based on JEE rank, and seats are allocated accordingly. Document verification:-Required documents include JEE scorecard, class 10/12th marksheet and income certificate for fee waivers. Pay intial fees and confirm your seat....Read More
