Course Curriculum Overview
As I was not too much inclined towards CSE and wanted to explore and find out my passion and interest in college so I chose Electronics as it is the most dependable engineering branch after CSE and My score also was till the Electronics cutoff only. So I did even get vse neither I wanted. The student: faculty ratio is quite promising with 1 faculty for every 75 students. Every faculty in bits have done their Ph.D. either from IIT or reputed foreign universities. In each semester term exams are held twice mid-semester examination in the middle of the semester and a comprehensive examination at the end of each semester.
Internships Opportunities
In Bits, there are two Practice Schools available one happens after 2nd year and the other happens in the 4th year for single-degree students. The higher cgpa your the good the company you get. Generally, If you perform a good in PS2 then you also get a good PPO.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester (4th year), Google, JP Morgan, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, and many more you can check on bits Hyderabad's official page Highest package:83 lakhs. Average package:17lakhs. more than 95% placement in the year 2022.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees can be an issue if you are studying in BITS. For a four-year Btech course it costs about 27-29 lakhs every year there is a fee hike of 5%. Various types of scholarships are offered by BITS merit scholarship: this scholarship is provided to the top 3% of students in the batch in which 1% gets a 100%Scholarship and rest 2% Get a 40% scholarship meritcum need scholarship: to avail of this scholarship your both parent's annual income should be less than (13 lakhs) according to 2022 data: The scholarship ranges from 25% to 80% based on your cgpa the higher cgpa the higher the scholarship.
Campus Life
Tech fest-Atmos(November), Cultural fest-Pearl(March-April), There are enormous amounts of books available in the library from comedy to fiction as well as academics-oriented books are also available. Our college library is a 2floor fully air-conditioned library. Classrooms are equipped with Air conditioners and Projectors. Every live class is recorded and made available to us on the impartus portal. Bits Hyderabad is equipped with each and every sports facility like a badminton court, basketball court, football ground, cricket ground, hockey ground, squash, table tennis, billiards, and a 2-floor gym.
Admission
For getting admission to any of the campuses of BITS across India you have to clear BITSAT (it is a computer-based online test ) which conducts two attempts in a year. The candidate can sit in any one of the attempts or he/she can sit in both attempts also. In the case of both the attempts, the score of the best one is taken into consideration. There is no reservation policy in BITS. Admissions are purely based on merit.
