Course Curriculum Overview

I chose coz I like physics. The student-faculty ratio is around 1 teacher per 40 students for my course. Teachers are highly qualified but don't know how to teach us properly. Semester exams are held regularly and as this is a hons. Course so the paper is difficult.

Internships Opportunities

For us science student internship means working in a lab as an assistant and seeing how the experiment occurs we can go to different colleges of du to do an internship. Many colleges like Miranda House give internship opportunities to physics students.

Fees and Financial Aid

As this is a government college it is the bare minimum so that everyone can afford it. There are many scholarships and NGOs that return the fees also based on your grade and background. For instance in our first year tuition fees of all OBC St SC and female candidates were returned.

Campus Life

There are multiple festivals that happen in Ramjas as well as du. As du is famous for its fest so our college is also no different. It conducts multiple festivals across the year. The library is full of books. The classroom is just okay. Annual sports day occurs in the month of January. Many groups or societies are active such as Enact Us, global youth,, pinnacle, focus, debsoc and many more.

Admission

Admission is through cuet. Eligibility is 12th with Pcm for my course. Reservation is there as it is a govt college but I didn't get any. The admission process is purely online so I don't think any improvement can happen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Some knowledge some confusion

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.

Ramjas college experience

For admission into Delhi University, CUET exam is conducted based on your 12th subjects. Scoring atleast 750 above out of 800 is necessary to get into top colleges like Hindu, LSR, SRCC etc. Then based on the marks , you are allotted the college , there are 3 rounds of allotment.
