Well constructed and well spread campus.Cleanliness is maintained allover the campus.
Club culture is good and keeps us engaged.

Hostel as well as mess facilities is not up to the mark.
Wifi network and internet issues discomforts a lot.
Few faculties are unable to give satisfactory explanation.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose ECE because I was interested in the course and a good demanding future in electronics. There are a pretty good amount of staff faculties. The faculty: students ratio is 1:15. Qualification of faculties are PhD holders. Teaching methods as I saw in 3 months were good at level but with few, I faced difficulty in understanding. The reason is they were in a rush. As for now, I have written a single mid-semester exam itself. Passing was an easy task no worries at all. But to get a very high cgpi, effort matters.

Placements here are going well in IT fields whereas core course fields are struggling to improve. After 4th year, you are eligible for placements. For further details visit Nitkkr official website. I need to explore a bit for my plans after getting my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The field structure of academics is around 62500 per semester for income above 5 lakhs, 20833 per sem for 1-5 lakh income, and no tuition fees for those below 1lakh income and sc,st and PWD students. Scholarships are available like alumni association scholarships, etc. 26 merit scholarships are available.

Campus Life

Campus Life is better than expected. College clubs keep things interesting and engaging. The annual cultural fest is Confluence held for 4 days in October. The technical fest is Techspardha in January. There are a variety of books available but I don't know about high-level advanced topics books. The library is well-constructed and equipped. Classrooms are AC equipped which makes it much comfortable in summer. The sports complex is pretty good and large. There is a swimming pool too. There SAC(Students Activity Centre) where students can perform practice or rehearsal. There is an OAT and Jublie hall where programs are held. There are a lot of technical and cultural clubs and societies which make students involved in many activities and explore different fields.Club culture is better than expected here.

Admission

Yes, we need to write JEE mains to get admitted. Some students also come from DASA. After JEE mains results, we should attend JOSAA counseling held for IIT+NIT+IIIT+GFTI colleges. For my ECE course, in the open category and other states quota expected cutoff rank is 12800. It also fluctuates yearly. You can attend CSAB special rounds after 6 JOSAA rounds. Application forms and exam-related things are released on nta jeemain official website. If you are from Haryana, you can enjoy your home state quota. Yeah if you belong to OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS, and PWD you can enter the college with the respective quota easily. The admission process was smooth but it would be good if JOSAA allowed to change our preference of order after each round.

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

My Experience in JC Bose University

Likes

I like the claim and composed environment, no one shouting or making noise
Each buliding have lift which help reach higher floor easily
Having strong alumni association which help student get placement

Dislikes

I don't like the paper work delay during the admission after paperwork
Campus less crowded places are not maintained very well
Older buliding classes don't have ac in the classroom

In Electrical course we have many kind have course which design for solving various kind of problem in field , BSC ( Basic science course ) , ESC ( Engineering Science Course ) , DSC ( Disciplinary specialized Course ) , VAC ( Value Added Course ). Professors teaches with real life example and use 3D shape and animation to explain things easily.

The college is spread across 300 acres of lush green campus with a lot of greenery everywhere. The weather is also very pleasant
The infrastructure of the college is well maintained with proper department and parks . The labs are well equipped with the necessary equipment required for the practical knowledge of the student.
Sports facilities are also top notch in the college and also gym is provided in the sports ground.

Dislikes

In rainy season water stands in the hostels making it difficult to move in and out of the hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of the college is decent one with average package of about 12-14 LPA amd about 85% students are placed every year. Students can apply for placements after 2nd year and companies like JP Morgan , microsoft, Hero , ICICI Bank , etc. Visit the college

Genuine and Biased review

Likes

Wifi facility is available in hostels and in some classrooms
Teachers are quite good and they are very helpful

Dislikes

Placement are not good in dcrust one some some students get placed with maximum packed of 9 lakhs minimum 2.5 lakhs
Course curriculum is not updated they are not helpful in modern time.
Girls and boys ratio are not upto the mark.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Placement at college is average mostly 80% of students are placed in this college student is eligible for placement from the 7th semester. Companies like Airtel, Infosys, Wipro, and swiggy, mostly company visit here highest package in 2023 is approx. 28 LPA and the average package is 5-6 LPA.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it

This college is in tier 1 nits and also it has given many great alumni which are one of the main reasons to go for this college . NIT KURUKSHETRA: An Honest Review

The key reason for my choice of NIT KKR college was it has affordable fee structure , good campus cirriculum. Admissions are based on JEE Mains, followed by JOSAA/CSAB counselling. Candidates must have at least 75% in class 12 or be in top 20 percentile of their board. Cutoff and Seat Allocation:- General category:-For cs/it candidate rank must be in 5k-10k. Other branches require less ranking. OBC/EWS/SC/ST : Lower rank benefits due to reservation quota. There is female quota too just to increase boys:girls ratio in engineering colleges. There is state reservation of 50% in all NIT's. Admission Process:- JOSAA counselling:-Students list their prefernces based on JEE rank, and seats are allocated accordingly.
