Remarks

In short Life at Ramjas is amazing, for me, there are no bad remarks about the college it depends on person to person

Entrance Preview

I just scored 94.66 in my 12th board exams and got admission through the cutoff basis, I opted for Ramjas because the faculty is quite good, especially science departments and infrastructure is also good.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The courses are very good they cover all branches of the subject you have opted and for first 2 years you have to take some extra subjects too, you can take anything of your intrust in them it also helps you to increase your skills in various fields. Courses also include Eng and EVS in 2 semesters which also helps you to get some of the general knowledge

Internships Opportunities

The college doesn't provide internship directly but it organizes fairs in which different companies participate and on the basis of interviews and some test or their own regulations students are selected for various jobs and internships

Placement Experience

2.5

There are no great placements on the campus. There are around 7000 students on the campus, but hardly 70 students got placements. The placement cell is not good as it always remains closed. No big company visits the campus, but in Ramjas, a student learn from outside like from seniors and from societies. Ramjas give a number of IAS officers to the society.

College Events

5

It's common that being in north campus each and every type of fest is held in Ramjas. Freshers are also a big part of Ramjas College which also had a huge amount of expenditure for which college authorities also contributed

Fee Structure And Facilities

As you know it is government college, and its fees are very much affordable and feasible. even I have spent 12000k to 13000k for the first year and that's too less being compared to other private institutions or college and it includes everything student no need to pay additional examination charges or anything except the hostel charges

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't have much knowledge of this because the fee is quite affordable and students get many different scholarships of there government or central government so they don't apply for that, but I think College must be having something to take care of this

Campus Life

4.5

Ramjas has so many societies and clubs as if we talk about dramatics, dance, debating, enactus and many more.T hey provide a huge platform to the students for exploring their hidden talents, the gender ratio is quite equal in the campus you can find any time many of students moving here and there in the campus even at night. Sports department is amazing we have many sportsmen from our college around the world

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel facility is there behind the college. The hostel building is there where students can find accommodation to live. Separate rooms are there with attached bathrooms, and a big hall for students to watch television. Quality of rooms was average as per the charges. It is mainly meant for the students coming from other states to study here.

Alumni/Alumna

Manish Jha, Film director Manoj Bajpai, Actor Prakash Jha, Film Director Pravesh Rana, Bigg Boss finalist, and Model Rahul Roy, Actor & Documentary filmmaker Shekhar Suman, Actor & Presenter All seniors are helpful, they make a friendly environment

Exam Structure

College goes with 6 days a week scheduled labs and classes are according to the subjects you have opted for 1 subject only 1 lab per week and 1 single lab class duration is 4 hours, No. Of classes depends on the credit of the subject. The examination is held semesterly

Admission

Admission process starts after the announcement of 12th board results and students have to apply for admission in there favourite courses through Delhi University website and after all this Cut off will be announced. All colleges in the university gives there own cut offs ,and if u have cleared the cut off in any particular college or your favourite college you can then fill it's form and your admission will be confermed after your document verification

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is good the college is having many highly qualified professors or you can say every faculty is amazing in their fields and with high experience of teaching from many years and their interactive ability with students is amazing, they try to give us every information they are having in the topics they are discussing. In all faculty is quite supportive

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
