Remarks

Overall., My college provides ample of opportunities to improve myself. The campus beauty is outstanding and the placement is also good.

Entrance Preview

I wrote JEE mains examination. There was no interview. I have an interest in electrical engineering . That's why I chose electrical engineering as my branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It is very good course. There is a good focus on practical learning and we have at least 3-4 labs in every semester. No research initiative is taken by institute. No election is there.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. Its good experience fighting to get an intern. The average stipend is 15000.

Placement Experience

3.5

There is written test. Then group discussion then interview. Approx 70% students get placement every year. Major companies of electrical engineering are L and T, Alstorm, Cap gemini, Wipro. The average package for electrical engineering is around 4.5 lakh.

College Events

4.5

Technical fest--Altius and techspardha. Altius is a Small fest but techspardha is huge fest of North India. College authorities provide funds for successful completion of fest. Cultural fest-- confidence and Utkarsh.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is a bit difficult for a lower middle class to afford. It cost approx. Rs 43000 per semester. 35000 is tuition fee and other 8000 include hostel fee and welfare funds

Fees and Financial Aid

No. Yess college help in getting loan from. SBI branch of college. I don't know the exact details.

Campus Life

3.5

Its getting good day by day in it. Yes., I explored myself as a table tennis player. There is a bit lack of facilities in college.

Hostel Facilities

Yes , I am a hosteler. In 1st year of btech., The rooms are 3 seater. But from 2nd year onwards , we got 1 seater rooms. We pay a nominal fee of 3000 per semester. Food is not as neutratious but it's hygenic.

Alumni/Alumna

No interaction. Yes, college regularly organises alumni meets with students.yes, alumni contribute in developing college.

Exam Structure

I think. Yes...the exams make us tired because in one semester, 2 mid semesters are there and one end semester is conducted.

Faculty

Some of the Faculty are very much qualified and experienced but some are new and inexperienced but qualified.. They are interactive too but not everyone can be the same. Some teachers use smart classes to teach. While some use black boards . In tutorial classes , there are group discussions and debates also. So all round development takes place.

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

NIT KURUKSHETRA: An Honest Review

The key reason for my choice of NIT KKR college was it has affordable fee structure , good campus cirriculum. Admissions are based on JEE Mains, followed by JOSAA/CSAB counselling. Candidates must have at least 75% in class 12 or be in top 20 percentile of their board. Cutoff and Seat Allocation:- General category:-For cs/it candidate rank must be in 5k-10k. Other branches require less ranking. OBC/EWS/SC/ST : Lower rank benefits due to reservation quota. There is female quota too just to increase boys:girls ratio in engineering colleges. There is state reservation of 50% in all NIT's. Admission Process:- JOSAA counselling:-Students list their prefernces based on JEE rank, and seats are allocated accordingly. Document verification:-Required documents include JEE scorecard, class 10/12th marksheet and income certificate for fee waivers. Pay intial fees and confirm your seat....Read More
