- Campus is beautiful and clean, spread over an area of 380 acre. Greenary is maintained all over and its safe for students.
- Fest are amazing and this includes OASIS, the cultural fest of bits pilani which is also ranked as 2nd best fest in asia.

Dislikes
- College is located in a town location of Rajasthan. and only mode of transfer here is by bus from jaipur. Nearest railway station is 20 kms away that is luharu station.
- Extreme climatic conditions of Pilani. In summers the temperature is as high as 45-50 degree celsius and in winters it drops up to 2 degree celsius.
- High fees is also an issue. This much amount can not be afforded by all individuals.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is pretty tough. Altough BITS provide zero percent attendance system but surprise quizes are cunducted in tutorial classes on regular basis and If you are in a course like EEE, ECE , ENI then ohh boy you are done for your 2nd and third year. every day 8 in the morning you have to give quiz for 5 days a week. But you are gonna enjoy these quizes after sometime. And If thats not enough, you will not realise when midsemester exams start and when does endsem exam ended. Just an advice, Keep your CGPA high i.e above 8.
Internships Opportunities
Internship offered by college Includes 3 types of internship . PS1, PS2 and Summer Internship. PS1 and PS2 are compulsory for every student and they are allocated on CGPA basis. Summer internship is not compulsory and is allocated on CGPA basis. ALl top companies offer internship for BITSIANs. Avrg amount offered for summer internship is of 85 thousand per month. and summer internship if of 2 months and is availed after semester 6.
Placement Experience
Sadly its recession going on right now but in normal times it was head to head with top IITS. ROI of BITS is very commendable. Avrg package of top branches crosses 30 lpa. You must maintain a good cpga to be able to sit for placements. Again CGPA is the king boys. Top companies like FMAANG usually offer placement to BITSIANS. Placement overall is above avrg.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuiton fees is 2 lakh 45 thousand for 1 semester in 2023 and with every year passing by it increase by approx 10 percent. Scholarships are available for top 1 percent students but if you are from economically week background then you can apply for MCn in which you can easily get scholarship if you have a decent CGPA. But at the end CGPA is the game changer guys. You can apply for various internship. BITS have system of Practice school(PS) in which for PS1 you have to pay an amount of 90 thousand for getting internship(yes you read that right , you have to pay for internship) and PS2 where you will be payed. One more internship is there which is summer internship and this one is actually paid based upon your CGPA. So guys again CGPA is the real winner.
Campus Life
Campus have 3 major fests namely OASiS(clutural), BOSM(sports) and APOGEE(tech). These fest are counted among the best fests of India and Asia too. You are going to enjoy campus life for sure with your hostel mates and club mates. New connections built here very fun and valuable too. You are gonna pass through ups and downs but it will all be worth it. Campus is mostly controlled by Students Union and Most important is that BITS remain open for night too. There are plenty of Eateries and They remain open till midnight. There are Various clubs and department for every possible hobbies of yours.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are alright but the major cache here is availability of water. Altough it has improved now. Mess food if of good quality with 3 meals offered with no limit on your food. Compared to other colleges Hostel and mess are pretty decent . The option of day scholar is only available for the residents of Pilani. If you are not of Pilani then hostel is compulsory because a lot of activities accour during night time in campus. There is no in time for hostels and security if good. Mess staff is very nice and helpful.
Admission
BITSAT is the exam for entrance and it is of 390 marks with +3/-1 marking and you will have an eligibility criterion for admission that is you should have more than 75 percent in PCM in your 12th board exam. Paper is on easier side but accuracy is the key keeping in mind the time limit as 130 questions are asked with an option of some bonus question once you complete 130 questions. Cutoff for cse usually is 330/390 and for EEE it was 272/390 last year. Application fee for exam is 5000 for 2 attempts. (yes this too is expensive)
Faculty
faculty to student ratio is excellent in BITS Pilani i.e 1:19. BITS have a unique feature of having 50 percent of its faculty who are mostly graduated from foreign university or are foreign citizens themselves. Faculties are top notch and are very helpful. You can cantact any faculty in there meeting hours. Mostly are PHD holders having innovative brain and brillant command of there subjects.
