Good infrastructure, well maintained hostels
Good salary package, Clubs & Societies are good
Location advantage as it's nearby Delhi, Almost all branch students are allowed in more than 40% of the companies to sit for the placements

Dislikes

The quality of professors is not so good
Less emphasis on practical learning & industry projects
More emphasis on academic pressure of books, girls boy's ratio is very less

Most of the reputed companies visit the campus to hire interns - Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, American express, MAQ software, Gameskraft, Adobe, Tech Mahindra, CDAC, CDOT, Brillio, Delhivery, Directi, Fidelity, HCL, Infogain, L&T hired multiple candidates from the campus on a monthly stipend of 20k to 70k

Placement Experience

In NIT Kurukshetra Campus placement starts in the last year (7th semester onwards) of the course all the hired candidates. Adobe hired on package of 40 lakhs SAP Labs hired on package of 25 lakhs Siemens offered package of 19 Lakhs Phonepay offered package of 15 lakhs Udaan offered package of 18 lakhs All students get placed I'm working as software developer at smart energy water private limited

Fees and Financial Aid

Royal Fees for students below 1 lakh of income is around 1.5 lakh Total fees for students having income between 1 lakh to 5 lakh is around 3.2 lakh Total fees for Students above 5 lakh of family income is around 6.5 lakh Various scholarships can be availed under National Scholarship Portal, institute also support state scholarships like SSO scholarship for rajasthan students, MMVY scholarship for students of Madhya Pradesh & so on. Institute do not provide any kind of campus employment opportunities.

Campus Life

Cultural fests - Confluence - 4 day fest held in February end Utkarsh - in the winters Technical fests - Techspardha- in January All kinds of book's & journal's are available in the library All classrooms of the L-Block(new building) & ED hall is equipped with necessary technical equipments like projectors & all. Campus support most of the sports activities including Javelin throw, football & cricket, swimming etc. No facilities for shooting sports. Student run social group is - SHIKSHA (under the aegis of SCSA) providing voluntary free quality education to underprivileged childrens of the surrounding area

Admission

For the admission into BTech one must have valid JEE Mains Score card, Admission is purely merit-based and one has to apply through Jossa portal for joint counseling to all NITs and GFTIs. You will automatically get best institute according to your preference & system set to auto float mode for your best choice. Application can be find on the website of NTA. Reservation is provided for admission to all the institutes as per central government. JEE mains now conducted twise a year difficulty level is moderate to difficult.

Faculty to student ratio was not so good, but faculty members are always ready to help students. Some of the professors are very good in knowledge & has visits in foreign universities for research work but some lack even basic knowledge about the subjects

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Likes

I like the claim and composed environment, no one shouting or making noise
Each buliding have lift which help reach higher floor easily
Having strong alumni association which help student get placement

Dislikes

I don't like the paper work delay during the admission after paperwork
Campus less crowded places are not maintained very well
Older buliding classes don't have ac in the classroom

In Electrical course we have many kind have course which design for solving various kind of problem in field , BSC ( Basic science course ) , ESC ( Engineering Science Course ) , DSC ( Disciplinary specialized Course ) , VAC ( Value Added Course ). Professors teaches with real life example and use 3D shape and animation to explain things easily.

The college is spread across 300 acres of lush green campus with a lot of greenery everywhere. The weather is also very pleasant
The infrastructure of the college is well maintained with proper department and parks . The labs are well equipped with the necessary equipment required for the practical knowledge of the student.
Sports facilities are also top notch in the college and also gym is provided in the sports ground.

Dislikes

In rainy season water stands in the hostels making it difficult to move in and out of the hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of the college is decent one with average package of about 12-14 LPA amd about 85% students are placed every year. Students can apply for placements after 2nd year and companies like JP Morgan , microsoft, Hero , ICICI Bank , etc. Visit the college

Genuine and Biased review

Likes

Wifi facility is available in hostels and in some classrooms
Teachers are quite good and they are very helpful

Dislikes

Placement are not good in dcrust one some some students get placed with maximum packed of 9 lakhs minimum 2.5 lakhs
Course curriculum is not updated they are not helpful in modern time.
Girls and boys ratio are not upto the mark.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

NIT KURUKSHETRA: An Honest Review

The key reason for my choice of NIT KKR college was it has affordable fee structure , good campus cirriculum. Admissions are based on JEE Mains, followed by JOSAA/CSAB counselling. Candidates must have at least 75% in class 12 or be in top 20 percentile of their board. Cutoff and Seat Allocation:- General category:-For cs/it candidate rank must be in 5k-10k. Other branches require less ranking. OBC/EWS/SC/ST : Lower rank benefits due to reservation quota. There is female quota too just to increase boys:girls ratio in engineering colleges. There is state reservation of 50% in all NIT's. Admission Process:- JOSAA counselling:-Students list their prefernces based on JEE rank, and seats are allocated accordingly.
