Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is upto the mark and there is no need to change it, there are 8 semesters in which all the imortant subjects and topics are covered. college also take care of additional subjects for the life and health benfits of a students such as yoga, sports, club activites, meditation classes etc. Curriculum includes internship and placement sessions with which a student is trained to crack a job. The Exam is average, not so difficult so we can score high marks. The only thing I think shoyld change in course curriculum is that college can reduse the number of lectures of optional subjects, or at least attendence shouldn't be mendatary in them.

Internships Opportunities

4

College gives internship oportunites in 3rd year (from 5th semester). A lot of companies like microsoft, flipkart, amzon , winzo give their internships which stipends from 30000 to 125000. Every company gives their own criteria for selecting and eliminate students on the basis of CGPA or resume. Then OA round is conducted which consits of some question to be solved within a time limit. then selected studnets have to give interviews and finally get selected. The exam is conducted either online or at the TNP (Training and placement cell of the college) cell.

Placement Experience

4

College placements starts from the end of 6th semester(3rd year), in recent years about 200+ companies visited the college and the placements are good enough. Highest package is about 60 Lpa and average is 10-15 Lpa. CS and IT branch gets a high amount of studnet placed about 80-90% but core branches like Mechanical, civil placemtns are very low. Prominent recuriters are Amazon, hitachi, honeywell, Delhivery, Microsoft etc. if No campus placement is offered studnet should focus on giving offcampus exams and interviews and should participate in hackathons and contests.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is amazing, you can get into clubs and societies from the first year to explore college and people. The annual fest of our college is Confluence which is held in September-October in which a lot of guest, performers and influencers are invited. The technical fests are Techspardha, E'Summit which is held in january-february. Campus infrastucture is also very good, and has a lot of greenary all over the campus. Campus library has a large amount of books for curriculum and for extra knowlege also and accessibilty is so easy and library is open 24/7. Classrooms are fully air conditioned with all technologies such as smart boards and projectors and sockets on the benches. Campus has space for a lot of sports, such as football, cricket, badminton etc and a gym. Students can enjoy club activities and it dosen't affect students life that much.

Admission

Students have to give JEE Mains for taking admissions into NIT's as for the eligibility every branch has it's own eligibilty criteria according to the percentile, Computer engineering requires a high percentile about 98% or more. After the result student can take part in Jossa for counceling which will tell what collages can that student get with the suggested branch. Reservation benfits can be applied as state reservation for the sudents having same state as college or on the basis of OBC,SC,ST students which helps a lot because the cut-off for general students are about at 90 marks but for SC ST are about 40-50.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty-to-student ratio is 1 to 81 at a time in a full class, but faculties are experienced to handle and teach this many students at once with the help of smartscreens. Faculties provides notes and pdfs for every lecture they take which is really helpful to keep track of what is covered and to prepare for exams. Faculties are always ready to help and provide their phone numbers or invites students to thier cabins if they had any doubt. The only thing that i dislike is some faculties are too aged that they can not bring the interest of a student in a complex subject. Students just can't understand the lecture and it becomes difficult later. Some of the faculties are also rude on students.

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

I had interest in full stack development, wanted to create websites. This course has collaboration with Xebia which provides a better learning approach for full stack No much improvement if the teacher appointed is great Timings of exam is really average but it is somewhat easy.
