Course Curriculum Overview

I was very much inclined to mathematics that's why i chose mathematics. The curriculum of mathematics is very helpful in competitive exams like IIT JAM. Admitted in the covid time i was not fully experienced the college but still it was great.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fee was 14000 around for each year. Financial aid was given to students having a low family income. There is no relaxation in the college fees on the behalf of reservation.500rs were also refunded after completing the course.

Campus Life

My one and half years of college were in the online mode which is why I was not able to experience the college at its full. But when experienced it after reporting then it was a great experience. Sports and other facilities are good enough and undergoing upgradation.

Admission

The Mathematics department of Ramjas College is regarded as one of the best departments. My admission was on a 12th-merit basis. I got having good score in 12th which could make me take admission in DU's best colleges but I chose ramjas.

The faculty of the maths department was very good. They have a good grasp of mathematics and make it convenient to deliver to the students in a good way. Also, the faculty-student ratio was also good. In mathematics, in total CBCS mode, there were 26 courses including GE, AECC, and SEC.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Some knowledge some confusion

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.

Ramjas college experience

For admission into Delhi University, CUET exam is conducted based on your 12th subjects. Scoring atleast 750 above out of 800 is necessary to get into top colleges like Hindu, LSR, SRCC etc. Then based on the marks , you are allotted the college , there are 3 rounds of allotment.
