VARSHNEYA's Review On Ramjas College, New Delhi

I haven't as such faced anything negative in my college till now but I'll advice to the reader that S/He should try to maintain a balance with his studies and college masti because in last marks do matter a bit . But this doesn't mean that all you have to do is study. You should enjoy.

In our life sciences we have Botany Zoology and Chemistry in which we have extended version of class 12 syllabus + 1 extra subject like evs English + practicals for Botany Zoology and Chemistry which are all fun to attend. 3yr course = 6 semester 1 year = 2 semester

Internships are provided by many companies time to time about which all are informed in their class groups.interested students may try. Even though I haven't joined any of the internships but I think they will provide good opportunity to learn .

DU is all about fests.specially in 2nd semester . Sometimes even you will think " yrr college aaya hu ya picnic. Every department holds their annual fest + some extra seminars or something like a play or any other competition like events which are all about fun and learning. Annual college fest is and in North campus you can attend other colleges fests also.

Fees Structure in DU college is different in different colleges but about10 thousand to 20thousand per year is average fees for couses of sciences. I think they are affordable. But you will have to give an extra burden on your pocket for accommodation as they are expensive I think 10,000 pm in most PG's.

National level scholarships are granted in colleges. College staff is very helpful they will explain you whenever u'll ask. Even seniors will help you with this. They will inform you procedures, application form for scholarships so don't worry about it.

Labs --> well equipped compared to schools you will a complete new experience as I know what we are taught in schools ???? Sports facilities are very good . We have intercollege tournaments and interdepartment tournaments + practice sessions.

Every clDU College has it's own alumni. You can do Google search about a particular colleges alumini as "ramjas has Papon" Hasnraj has SRK KMC has Amitabh bachan and so on. As of seniors they are very helpful and friendly.

Zoo faculty --> best in all three departments.very helful and understanding teachers Botany --> a little serious about studies but very interacting and helful Chemistry--> helps you to understand almost everything
