Remarks

The college infrastructure is very good and it is very well connected through railway station about 5-6 km from college and bus stand about 8 km from the campus. The best about the college is the greenery here.It has lots of tree and it is a green campus. It has a solar power plant of 1 MW installed on rooftops

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum has been revised recently according to as per industry needs. So it is the latest one. The exam are conducted as I am about to describe. The exam are divided as external and internals.In the internal there are 2 sessional and viva voice for practical. In the external there are end semester exams.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities are also very good here.But internship are not as good . Placement for CS and IT branch is about 100% while for EE ME EC it is about 60-80%. Placement is very poor for civil engineering.Average stipend is 5-6 lakhs per annum

The various events celebrated in our college are techspardha and confluence and annual sports meet .These are the mains events besides these some small events are also there. Confluence is a cultural festival and techspardha is a technical fest and sports meet is for sports students

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is different for students according to as per their category ranging from almost free to about 79000 per semester .It is almost free for sc/st candidates and general students has to pay all.Beside s there is extra expenditure for mess .

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various scholarship offered by the center and the state government. The center govt. gives 10000 per year if you are among top 10% toppers of 12th class all India.State government also gives scholarship to the tune of 1 lakh if you are eligible

Sports infrastructure is very good at our college and there are regular inter and intra college tournament held for every sports. Labs are also very good .Almost all labs have the latest and working equipments u are going to need for study of your course

The alumni network is very good.Some of Our college alumnis are at very reputed position in various national and international companies .They are CEOs of various companies such as Viacom 18 CEO is from our college

The faculty of the college is well experienced and has good knowledge of their subject background. Also you can ask the teachers regarding any doubt in your subject without any hesitation. they are very supportive in every way

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

The University provides when you opportunity for learning activities and over all development

Placements are available for final year and June and students generally become eligible from the 7th semester companies from it software and management sectors visit the campus placements opportunity at Decent with package wearing according to company and student scale I plan to build a strong technical skills so internship and projects and aim for a good job in aml field after graduation

My Experience in JC Bose University

Likes

I like the claim and composed environment, no one shouting or making noise
Each buliding have lift which help reach higher floor easily
Having strong alumni association which help student get placement

Dislikes

I don't like the paper work delay during the admission after paperwork
Campus less crowded places are not maintained very well
Older buliding classes don't have ac in the classroom

In Electrical course we have many kind have course which design for solving various kind of problem in field , BSC ( Basic science course ) , ESC ( Engineering Science Course ) , DSC ( Disciplinary specialized Course ) , VAC ( Value Added Course ). Professors teaches with real life example and use 3D shape and animation to explain things easily.

The college is spread across 300 acres of lush green campus with a lot of greenery everywhere. The weather is also very pleasant
The infrastructure of the college is well maintained with proper department and parks . The labs are well equipped with the necessary equipment required for the practical knowledge of the student.
Sports facilities are also top notch in the college and also gym is provided in the sports ground.

Dislikes

In rainy season water stands in the hostels making it difficult to move in and out of the hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of the college is decent one with average package of about 12-14 LPA amd about 85% students are placed every year. Students can apply for placements after 2nd year and companies like JP Morgan , microsoft, Hero , ICICI Bank , etc. Visit the college

Genuine and Biased review

Likes

Wifi facility is available in hostels and in some classrooms
Teachers are quite good and they are very helpful

Dislikes

Placement are not good in dcrust one some some students get placed with maximum packed of 9 lakhs minimum 2.5 lakhs
Course curriculum is not updated they are not helpful in modern time.
Girls and boys ratio are not upto the mark.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Placement Experience:

Placement at college is average mostly 80% of students are placed in this college student is eligible for placement from the 7th semester. Companies like Airtel, Infosys, Wipro, and swiggy, mostly company visit here highest package in 2023 is approx. 28 LPA and the average package is 5-6 LPA.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it

This college is in tier 1 nits and also it has given many great alumni which are one of the main reasons to go for this college . The college applied by me were NIT jaipur and NIT Rourkela but as it was near to my home so I went for this only .In order to get admission in this college one has to sit in jossaa counselling and after seat allocation physical reporting is done and then you can join the hostel and work to build a better tomorrow...Read More

NIT KURUKSHETRA: An Honest Review

The key reason for my choice of NIT KKR college was it has affordable fee structure , good campus cirriculum. Admissions are based on JEE Mains, followed by JOSAA/CSAB counselling. Candidates must have at least 75% in class 12 or be in top 20 percentile of their board. Cutoff and Seat Allocation:- General category:-For cs/it candidate rank must be in 5k-10k. Other branches require less ranking. OBC/EWS/SC/ST : Lower rank benefits due to reservation quota. There is female quota too just to increase boys:girls ratio in engineering colleges. There is state reservation of 50% in all NIT's. Admission Process:- JOSAA counselling:-Students list their prefernces based on JEE rank, and seats are allocated accordingly. Insights of Computer Dept of NIT KKR
