Course Curriculum Overview

4

Well the things like future importance of this course made me choose it and this helps me a lot for my further academic pursuits and for my future goals. About exam frequency there are certain class assessments going on all along like 3 tests per semester and one academic level exam per semester and also they are well focused on the practicals and practical assessment is also included in the the internal of the exam. Well there are few things they can improve in there teaching plans but most of things in curriculum and the teaching methods are already way to good and also we are assigned extra class if class was canceled so we won't lag behind.

Internships Opportunities

3

Well we have a society called pinnacle that brings in internship opportunities for the students in the college and the companies may differ accordingly but there are a lots of opportunities for the students every time, stipend may differ according to the course you are in and sometimes as we see the companies don't see the course then it can be starting from 6000rs to 10000 rs for the 1st year students and 2nd year students but for 2nd year this may also increase depends upon there experience and skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

So the total fees for General category students for 1st year is Rs.16613 which will be covering all the things like admission fees, tuition fees, registration fees, and all but we will have to pay the examination fees which is not included in this amount. Further the fees for 2nd and 3rd year will be reduced to Rs.15785 and again examination fees will not be included in it. Also for SC/ST/KM/EWS/CW/OBC candidates fees is same as general candidates. But the fees for PWD candidates is Rs.125 for 1st year and for 2nd and 3rd year it will be Rs.120. But if we see yearly fees status then we see that the fees is increasing as per the records and they r continuously increasing the college fees but i will say it is still kinda affordable. Also there are few scholarship you can apply for during your college which can reduce your fees and also can almost cover up your whole fee for the college.

Campus Life

5

We recently had our Diwali fest called Ramjasotsav 3.0 which basically happens before Diwali and is so fun as there are a lots of this we can participate in and do a lot of things, is also open for all the delhi university students. A lots off fests like this happens all the year and also we have departmental fests every year. About classrooms we have a projector in every classroom of the college. About the sports then in the month of February the are a lots of inter departmental sports going on and then after these inter department challenges we then proceed on with inter college tournaments and a lot of competition going on all the year. Then we also have a lot of fun clubs in this college. Further we got great society challenges and competition held by them. As i myself am part of two societies and attended orientation of lots of societies and these are super interesting. Like societies also improves us a lot. There are clubs that helps students for eg our mental health wellness society. We also have student portal which contains all the details students needs and also helps us to reach out to college and we don't need to wonder around for anything.

Admission

Well for this college it is the part of delhi university and one needs to qualify the common university entrance test (CUET) which is a central level exam for the central universities and then one should also fill the admission for of delhi university and once the result is declared then you should map your preferences and then fill your preferences for the colleges under Delhi University and the courses you want Also as this college is the part of North Campus in some courses cutoff maybe high for unreserved categories. Also i took this college as it had my preferred course as that course combination is not available in all the the colleges in Delhi university and if we rank colleges in north campus this is only avaliable in 2 colleges. Also there were other other colleges I applied for but qhen i got selected in this college i dropped my plans for other colleges as this one was preferred my me more then other colleges as firstly this is a government college secondly college with a great campus life.

Faculty

3

Well faculties here are approachable but not always there are times when we are stuck in things and can't sort it. Well there are almost 2 to 3 internal tests in all the core subjects but there are only end semesters exam in the end of semester but they are not that difficult nor so easy but can be cracked easily by pyqs understanding and with the help of teachers study methods. Also about faculties i like or dislike so there are certain points like not good bond you build with them as the same person which is not approachable for me is maybe for someone else but all the people's are equally approachable by the class CRs.

Night Life

4

Well we have gym that opens at 8 30am and closes at 5 pm and in closed on Saturday and Sunday. They also have different times for girls and boys to go the gym. Then we have library which got same timings as the gym and a lot books in there, we are also linked with central library which gives us more exposure if we want to. Even cafeteria and public areas have same time limit but is open on Saturday also but library is also open. As the hostel is inside the campus also so u can stay out of hostel but campus has a timings for entry and exit. Most famous places to hang out inside the campus will be sports complex or canteen and also eco law and DS lane are always crowded by the students then amphitheater is also good and going outside the college u can visit some famous food stall like tom uncle or sudama ki chai and all or maybe just roam the streets near by. Talking about the night the inside of campus is totally safe and you can roam in there whenever you want.

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
