Course Curriculum Overview

5

Maths hons is not that easy course but after studying from the maths faculty of Ramjas College, it seems to be . The course has deep discussion of various topics related to maths . The chapters we had in earlier classes, are now our subjects and we have to study them in deep . Overall teaching method is nice but there should be little improvement in problem solving skills as students face problems when they solve questions. Also the time to complete the course is not sufficient. More time is required to study the particular course of the semester.

Internships Opportunities

5

Pinnacle, the placement cell of Ramjas College always works hard to provide internship and placement opportunities to our students. Many companies such as D E shaw , EY , Deloitte , Zomato, ATS infrastructure etc have provided internship in Ramjas College . The highest stipend was 65,000 offered.

Placement Experience

5

Placement cell of Ramjas College, Pinnacle, works very hard to provide each and every deserving student to get a placement opportunity. Generally, placement is provided to those students who are in their final year of graduation. Many companies such as Deloitte, Zomato, EY, Byju's , Mother dairy & co, Mindhouse, Phillips, Willis Tower Watson, Decathlon etc have provided placement opportunities so far in Ramjas College. Average placement package at Ramjas College is 5.6LPA while the highest package was 21.5 LPA. Placement percentage generally depends on the year and the course. My plans after getting the degree is that I'll prepare for competitive exams as there is no placement opportunities for my course which bsc maths hons.

Fees and Financial Aid

Ramjas College is the most affordable one in the north campus. As it aims to provide quality education at affordable prices, it's fee structure is cheaper in comparison to other colleges in North campus. There is no different fee according to caste . As in Gen, Obc ,Sc and ST have to pay the same amount of fee but for PWD candidates, fee is different. For example I paid 16613 in my 1st year for bsc maths hons as a general candidate but for PWD candidate the fee is only 125 for the whole year and so on . College fee varies from course to course. There is no other type of fee . I just paid 16613 at the beginning of my 1st year . Ramjas college do offers a lot of scholarships .

Campus Life

5

There are plenty of fests that occurs in Ramjas College. Every society organises their fest in the month of February. Also the annual fest of Ramjas College is also held every year. Freshers is also organised twice basically, first by the department itself and the second one is organised by the students union for whole college which consists a huge variety of stalls and dj . Library of Ramjas College has two floors and is quite popular among students preparing for competitive exams or for end sems . There is a huge variety of books available in the library, plus computers are also available for students to use. Most of the classrooms have projectors and professors also use laptops to teach the students. Labs are also there with each and every basic necessities for the lab. There are two sports ground in the college one is football ground and the other one contains volleyball courts and badminton courts. Gym is also available for both boys and girls with different timings. There are various societies in the college for students also we have an unofficial society gigle gang which basically aims to have fun among friends and to make new friends. Campus life at Ramjas College is way tooo fascinating..

Admission

I was allotted Ramjas College through the process of common seat allocation system in the second round. In the first round, I was allotted Sri Venkateswara college of south campus. This process works after we get our cuet score then we have to create a preference list according to our wish after this cut off is released and students are allotted colleges according to their score . I also created a preference list in which North campus colleges were arranged in the starting followed by South campus colleges and then off campus colleges. I couldn't make to the colleges which I kept above Ramjas College due to cut off which varies from caste to caste as there is a reservation. I am general candidate so I didn't get any reservation. The admission process of college involves an entrance exam CUET . Students are supposed to give this exam and after this they get their score and at the end colleges release their cut off category wise and students are allotted respective colleges according their preference list. Several rounds are conducted in which students upgrade their colleges allotted to them .

Faculty

5

Faculty of Ramjas College is very famous especially the maths one . Ramjas College is known for its best faculty in each course. Faculty members are way too skilled in their respective fields. All the professors are easily approachable, students can ask their doubts and queries to them without any hesitation. Lab assistants are also very helpful. Exams occur at the sem end only though there are some class test for internal assessment according to the respective professors. Exam level is okayish neither easy nor hard. Faculty to student relationship is very nice in the college though we had some problems with a particular professor but it was resolved by our students union and the principal. Overall, the whole faculty members are super nice of Ramjas College.

Night Life

5

I'm basically a day scholar so I travel daily to my college and I don't stay at either in hostel or any pg so I don't have any idea how does it feels at night in the college but my friends told me their experience at night in the college. At night, the college vibe is totally different it feels really nice to walk around college at night after having dinner. Kamla nagar is near Ramjas College so my friends often visit their at night in the cafes and restaurants and the whole area looks soo aesthetic at night which provides peace to them . Inside the college, there are various lawns and paths to move around. Outside the college, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants where students do hangout with their friends. Kamla market is also near the college to visit. The area near the college is really busy and is very safe to roam around.

The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
