Likes
- College campus is lush green , management is very good , cleanliness is top notch .
- Proffesors are highly qualified in their field and had studied from prestigious institutions like cambridge , oxford IIT's , IISER's , etc .
- Infrastructure is good , classes are held regularly, special care taken for labs for practical subjects , labs are well maintained and held on a regular basis.
Dislikes
- Poor canteen , tables and chairs are in poor condition, and variety of foods are missing. Amul , Nescafe are there but they are shut. Sometimes washrooms smell bad .
- Non AC campus, studying in Delhi in summers , without ac's or coolers afternoon's are surely hell . Campus must be fully AC .
- Idk why but college have jammers , so at some spots , you won't be accessible to internet . But it's okay ig .
Course Curriculum Overview
As talking about my course chemistry hons , course curriculum is relevant and practical thinking is good. Regular labs are held and lab visit to big laboratories are there time to time to get a better closer look on practical chemistry world . Regular assignment, tests , projects and exams are held ,nt much time for chill
Placement Experience
You are eligible for placements in 3rd year or 4th year . Average placements for my course is 9 lpa , but majority of students don't sit for placements, they go for higher studies. This year IIT-JAM AIR-1 Chemistry was my from my college, ramjas . He was my senior . I also want to pursue studies after my graduation, won't sit for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee is 18k per year from chemistry hons. Additionally 1900 rs at the time of exam enrollment are taken . Other than exam fee and tuition fee there are no additional charges. Many scholarships prevail for physically disabled students, single girl child and more , there are given particular sum of amount on the basis of their clg performance ie cgpa . You must have 8.5+ gpa for that .
Campus Life
Annual fest name is Mosaic, alongside many fests are also held , departmental fests , societies fests takes place , NCC organises its own fest too . Many inter department sports tournament or inter college tournaments are held. Our football team won against IITD team this year.
Admission
My college was on my 4th in list . I am very happy with my college. Above colleges were St. Stephen and hindu college. My college is famous for its department in North campus of Delhi University, so I got no regrets . My rank for st Stephen's was 132/2000 , but unfortunately due to high christian reservation, i didn't made it there
Faculty
1:20 is faculty student ratio . Proffesors are literally easily available and you can reach them out anytime . Proffesors are friendly and nicely mannered . Exams are mid and almost 99% students clear out exams. Course curriculum is relevant and nice . My HOD , all prof's are so good . I just don't like my physical chemistry proffesor . His teaching style sucks although he have a good sense of humor but teachimg is awful .
Night Life
After classes canteen time and sitting on ground with all batchmates is cutest memory . Hostel time is 9.30pm ig . Whole Campus is so safe to roam around and guards are there everywhere. Overall college life is good .
