There are some positive remarks about this college. They're our college has A - Z all types of facilities in both sports and academics. The college supports the students of the college in all the way to achieve his goal.
Course Curriculum Overview
Courses are good, we learn more the things about the engineering courses and why engineering is needed in course curriculum. In this college exam is like divided in two parts. They are CIE(Continuous Internal Evaluation)&SEE(Semester End Examination). CIE is evaluated for 50 marks and SEE also for 50 marks. So the sum of these 2 is considered the total marks in the final.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are really good. Until now MCE Hassan has 100% placements in ECE,CSE,ISE,EEE&IP departments. So there are more job opportunities recommended by the alumnies of the college. No, our college doesn't provide internships.
College Events
Our college celebrates 4 fests each year. MALNAD Fest conducted by Literary Club during even sem and JAMBOREE fest conducted by Leo Club during odd sem. The above 2 fests are big events celebrated grandly. The remaining events are Enigma (Technical fest),Sentia(Science fest)
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is less when compared to other colleges. The college takes ?15k for the MTES Trust and ?7-8k as admission fees. The tuition depends on the type of admission. Even the supplementary fee's are feasible when compared.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many loans and scholarships available. The some which I know are Arivu loan scheme(kmdc), Minority scholarship for OBC, Vidyasiri, Vidyalakshmi loan scheme, MHRD scholarship,etc. Even our college's Syndicate Bank offers education loan with around 12-16% interest
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities are really awesome. Our college has good sports facilities. We have football ground, hockey ground, cricket ground, Basketball court, Volley ball court, Badminton court(indoor), Swimming pool, Table-Tennis court(indoor),gym.
Alumni/Alumna
Nothing much to comment on the alumnies network. Our college has Make in MCE organisation in which it has a very good and big alumni network and has contact between them. They are very much helpful and helps anywhere anytime.
Admission
I got this college in KCET counselling. First we should write the KCET exam and then after getting the results,we will be given ranks. The KCET counselling is done by ranking based system. In counselling I had given many colleges in which I was allotted to this college for my ranking.
Faculty
Our faculty members are really good. They teach us clearly and effectively. Especially in ISE department the faculties see the students as their family and helpful anywhere anytime. Their will be a faculty advisor who advices eventually after each exams to get improved.
