Exams held are twice in a year. As semester pattern is followed. It is not a chill culture at all. Frequency is not there in exams actually but we think so because we have internal exams external exams orals practicals viva etc.
Placements reduced this year. The average package is 3.5 lpa. Though thjs year it decreased to 3 lpa. Else everyyear they are good. Also depends on departments. Placements vary. Companies that visit are good enough.

Many Small and big events take place every year in college. Some of them are Oneiros(The Cultural Fest). Techideate(The Technical Fest ). Abhivarta (The Sports Fest). Also some small events like Kite Flying, Garba celebration, Holi/Diwali/Lodhi celebration and other such events according to the festivals take place.
Placement Scenario varies for different branches, As in at present placement for CSE and IT Students is comparatively better then other branches. Some of the companies that visit campus for placement are-: Dell, Amazon, Directi.

JEE(joint entrance exam) got me here, It wasn't my 1st choice ,actually I mistake VIT for VIIT at the start & in terms of course it was a arrow in the dark straightaway ,the one knows how engineers select the course, will get my words.
Its around 1,25,000/- INR for Indians and near to 1,40,000/- INR for NRI's to my knowledge. So yes its affordable for a middle class family till a student comes from a poor family without any caste reservation.

LDCE is majorly known for its high placement ratio amongst other engineering colleges. I would even say it's the best college if you want to get into good MNC companies, both on and off campus. Last year, the placement percentage was about 45% on campus and even off campus. Companies like Tata motors, Torrent Power, L&T infrastructures, Suzuki Motors, Schneider Electric, T&R, Linde, Accenture, Reliance, Bajaj, ABB, GSFC, GNFC, etc. visited our campus. And this year, we are also anticipating Adobe Softwares to visit the campus, which will be a great event for the institute. Average package is of about 5 lakh per annum.
As the college is affiliated to GTU (Gujarat Technological University), it strictly follows the guidelines and curriculum decided by GTU. The syllabus is quite comprehensive and covers all the major topics related to my field. There are well equipped laboratories to ensure that students get proper practical knowledge. Students are also encouraged to carry out research initiatives and project works and are also guided by the faculties whenever they need help. Few subjects are student elective and are kept as per majority votes from students themselves.
many companies visit every year and the number of placements increase every year. many reputed companies like TCS,WIPRO,COGNIZANT chose many students
i chose to study my Civil engineering course there, as the college was known for the experienced and esteemed faculty of civil engineering stream.
Interacting with other states student is only problem i have seen.as overall its good.this college has several kind of rules that others does not have,Thinking aside its good but you cant explore your college fully with this kind of things.Totally its good
On a scale of 1-10,i will give 6.they are good but the teaching way is not good at all.i think they do not know how to interact with students from other states. Its one of the big problem,as totally they are just good.

If you are good in sports or extra-curricular activities and seriously have a very minimal mood to go further in academics, this is the best place for you. But if you want a college where you can learn anything, think any other college. As this review is gonna cost you your future, I have been trying to be very straight here. Ya one more thing, here, you'll have a lot of time to prepare for entrances as the exams held are very easy and a matter of a few days. It was mind-blowing in First Year, a little less to that in Second, lesser in 3rd and finally "Tu Kal Chala Jaega to Mai kya Karunga" type of experience. MDU, undoubtedly has best of the infrastructures in Haryana. So we had no complaints about that. Also, we played a lot. There is a separate Sports complex offering facilities like Cricket, Footbal, Gym, Basketball, Squash, Table Tennis, Boxing, Swimming and so on. So till now It has been a great experience expect for the fact that the faculty is not good after the 2nd year.
I gave JEE Mains exam and secured a rank of 90000 in it. I thereby applied for the separate state counselling of Haryana and this way I could apply for all the government and self-financed colleges in Haryana. I started with the registration at HSTES and did the college choice filling. Soon, I had my name in the 1st counselling list. I went there, had my admission done in Mechanical Engineering. There was no interview held. Mechanical Engineering is said to be an Evergreen branch, this was the reason why I chose this.

Mechanical Engineering at this college is really fun.We enjoy a lot during practical and lecture and also learn new things.Staff here is quite friendly and helpful. No research initiatives are taken by the college for BE students but we have our own groups who compete in events like Baja etc
If you are going to take admission in this college then don't ever think about placement.Hardly few students get placed with very small packages. For civil and mechanical department placements are the worst

The college must lay stress on more practical knowledge rather than focusing more on theory. The labs of the college must be improvised by introducing new PC's and more competitions must take place to showcase our talent.
Admission was on the Merit basis. There is no such entrance exam for taking admission in BCA in my college. The use of computers will never end and this made me chose this course. Moreover i have interest in computers.

I chosen cse.I feel better because its one of the famous n interesting branch regarding to science n technology I am interested in choosing thia branch
Yea college provide a better platform fr executing students innovations n creations exhibition are placed every year to show the students talents
I wrote CET and opted civil engineering in this College. There was no interview in the admission progress. Since this come had good name for every branch also with good placements, i opted this College after deep analysis of different College.
No bad remarks till now. But lot of good remarks. Greenish environment makes a pleasant mood all around campus and also the advanced facilites here.Overall a good College with decent status.Anyone can opt SJEC
Well I feel a little shameful in this because as otherside we are good at everything but company just don't want gtu students and very few students are placed last year
Well I already heard about my college that they organize many trips and visit of such an industry or factory I remember the Uttaran power plant visit very well.
Faculties are little bit strict in our department. They give knowledge about our growth and how to develop our India, what type of projects we can do,how was their life when they were studying, how to study for exams, how to score in exams, how to give good presentation in exam, all this thing they tell, as they r strict they are interactive also. Standard of teaching is better.
I joined through COMEDK,fees was little bit high than cet ,totally I paid 1.7 lakh per year,it was not much affordable as through cet the fees is only around 65000-75000 rupees, but I was fine for me,got good college in comedk, that is the advantage of comedk, comedk exam paper was easy than cet papers,so it is easy to score,so you will get seat in good college.

was so good of my alumni. yeas the college provide a proper platform for student-alumni interaction. yes alumni contribute in the overall development of the college as well as the students too

There are lots of activities happen in our college like tectrix(technical fest ), crirathon (inter departmental game fest), freshers (welcome program of 1st year student ), GOT(game fest for all the colleges). Footfallbon this event are very high lots of student came to these events and participate in these events. The college authority also help us in these event. They contribute a very large amount for these events.
On basis of my rank in wbjee i got admission in computer science department. There are lots of research takes place in college. Many type of student development programs are also happend in this college like tectrix(technical fest) crirathon(sports fest) and many other activities are happend in this college.

We have technical feast named zotech fiesta and cultural feast named Vibrio. All students of north east from any schools or college can take part in these fests. The organization of these feasts were very good.College funds are used for these purposes.
Each semester fee is 30000 for 1st sem,19000 for 2nd sem,21000 for 3rd sem ,19000 for 4th sem approx.note that each odd semester have same fees and all even semesters have nearly same fees its quite less and an affordable .

B.Tech is a course which is challenging as well as fruitful. It is very interesting and enjoyable course. Our college always given more focus on practical learning because it gives a live demonstration on the various Engineering phenomena. Our college is renowned for its various kind of research and development activities and journals. For example I was involved in one research project where we need to research and develop cheap polymer composite for making bullet proof jackets for Indian military and police.
Our college provide internship in different companies during our vacations. I have done my internship in Oil India Limited which is a public sector Oil Company involved in Petroleum And crude oil extraction and mining operations. As an intern I get to know how a company runs, tackle problems in a challenging environment. Since it is public sector enterprise so so it doesn't have any stipend amount. But however in other private companies the internship has a stipend amount which is very good.

Placement scenario is very good. Almost 90% student get placement.Amazon,Quest VMware, zscaler, Oracle ,informatica, sony, siemens, akamai foundation, bharat forge, mu sigma are some of the companies which visit campus. average package for CS/IS students is more then 5.5 lpa for ece it is around 4.5-5 lpa. For other branches it is around 3.6 lpa.
college is overall good but u will get less time for fun. ZERO RAGGING. Placements are good . CS/IS placements are very good same with ECE and placements of other branches is also more then good.College is just 60 km from Bangalore so u can get industry exposure easily and it is situated in very healthy environment better then that of Bangalore.
The fee structure is not as expensive as it is a government college. Students will get scholarships according to their family income. SC ST and OBC students get discounts on their tuition fees. For the general category, there is nothing to worry as this is a government college and the fee is not too expensive. For me, its 90000 per year includes all tuition, etc.
There will be a lot of events throughout the year. Sometimes it will be a dance competition where you'll find hidden talents from your college, sometimes there will be a sports meet. Famous personalities and businessmen keep on visiting the college. As it happened a few months back that Mark Zuckerberg visited our college. That was a great moment.

The course is on of its kind. And because of this there are only a handful of us in each batch. BETWEEN my department is Nuclear science and technology.
Just the Amity entrance exam in which we had to clear a proficiency test and face an interview panel in our respective department
