I chose computer engineering course. It is well designed and well set to deliver the best of the things. As practical learning in IT means the programming & coding. So good Focus is aimed at programming. Many research initiatives are taken by the College. The college also provides good support to the students for the same. Alumni of VIT 1996 BE batch have funded two research Projects with worth rupees 1 lac.
The college is outstanding in the terms of three extracurricular s. There are plenty of events which keeps uplifting the hidden & revealed talents from VIT. "Vishwakarandak" is a event consisting of a great events under the Extra-Curricular events, Technical events, Sport events and the Social events. The life here feels awesome at such moments.

Academic qualification will good but actual knowledge will differ. There are great faculties which are well known in field and are best mentor ever u can find. But then there are other with very wage knowledge in field. It mostly depends on students from where u should pluck ur flowers.
BITSAT was the entrence exam . My score was good and I preferred my branch over college so took be from bits. No interview was taken. I was very passionate for core understanding of things around hence preferred Electrical Engineering .

The college was previously at worli. This year in September it has shifted to ulhasnagar. So now it has a new and bigger campus, new building, new labs but the teachers are the same. Some are really good while on or two may make your life difficult. But ultimately its up to you. If you behave well, attend practicals at least then your life at this college will be much much easier. Overall the teachers are quite understanding and student friendly.
One thing I can say for sure is that if you are good student in the college and if your impression is really good, then the teachers will really try their best to help you at anything. If you take interest in learning, the teachers will do nothing but encourage you. Overall its fairly decent.

The faculties are awesome up to the mark. They have good Skills. Every Coin has a tail and head so it so some faculties at good and some are bad but overall superb. They Interactive very much.

College is government body so the fee is not much and is very affordable. I have paid fees of nearly Rs.32,000(Including every thing) for a year. Installment method is also available. For students' belonging to SC/ST caste can have scholarship hence they have to pay only bus-fee i.e. Rs.7000. And if you live in the range of 5km of the college then no bus fee is charged. Apart from this around Rs.1350 is charged as exam fees every semester and Rs.112 as portal fees every year.
Well, event organization is growing in the college E-cell organizes the various workshop, Student communities organize cultural-technical fest and sports fest. names are Maha Sangram, Avahaan etc. They are organized at the state level only as they have been introduced recently. Average footfall is again low as the campus is very far from the city and poor logistic facility. College authorities provided small budget and gave their cooperations. At beginner level it was good.
CSE, the course was good with a mix of theoretical and practical subjects. It dealt with both system programming and application programming. No specific research initiative was taken, but faculty encouraged and guided to participate in tech events and hence we won quite a few competitions.
Placement scenario was not very good, the college being in a rural area. 20-30% of students got placed through campus recruitment. Major companies that visited was Oracle, Infosys, SLK software, SPAN InfoTech, GobalSoft etc.

College allotted the best faculties,Some faculties completed their M.tech and some faculties were phd holders, those teacher who were phd holders they were awesome, they teach us very nice,so almost all the teachers are well experienced and well qualified according to me,90% faculties were interactive. They give us every information about the course and subjects, and they inform us about lot of exhibition and competition which are going in India.
Placement is more in this college. It is one among the top colleges in Bangalore with good infrastructure and good facility,Every year they use to placement training and they use to tell us everything how many rounds are their during interview, how to clear that rounds everything, around 70% students got placed in placements, companies like IBM,ORACLE,SAP,HP and any more were visited here.
I have belled the CAT examination with 87 percentile. Due to my Orrisa quota reservation and the from reviews of this college, I have decided to join it. Yes I had to clear WAT test and my personal interview for an admission. My interest to deal/negotiate with people and to make them to work for a goal made me to pursue an MBA
Many fests. Indian Food festival. Athlos, Xpressions, Xenable, Xathon are the names of the Mangerial fests that we host which are conducted thrice in a year. Average footfall is 1000. The college contributed a lot in terms of fund, canvassing, setting up the stage for interaction between different minds.

Girl candidate the boys here also as they get more opportunities for scholarships and jan kalyan kendra is always there to provide you the scholarship
Faculties are good, qualified and experienced. College has set up a minimal qualification limit for hiring the faculties. They are good at interacting with the students as the classes are arranged for teachers also so that they can learn the interaction process. You can get an idea of the standard of teaching from the detail already provided.

The college hosts, Riviera, a 4-day cultural fest, in which many celebrities come and perform. Those 4 days are pure bliss because the campus is highly decorated and there is no tension of studies around. It is South India's best cultural fest and various students from other colleges come to our fest. There is a huge footfall of people, from around South India. Last year, we had Shankar Mahadevan's performance for our star night. We have GraVITas as our annual Technical fest. It is organized for 3 days, in which various workshops and seminars are organized with the people of the industry. It is a 3-day event and is very successful. Many technical competitions are organized. College is very helpful in organizing these events, however, students are the ones, who primarily manage all the work.
I wrote JEE MAINS in 2015 but could not get a decent college, so I dropped a year (2015-2016). Next year, in 2016, I wrote JEE MAINS along with other various entrance exams including VITEEE. I could not get into a college of my choice through JEE MAINS so I decided to go with VIT, which I was eligible for, because of the rank I got in VITEEE. There weren't any subsequent interviews for the admission as it is totally merit-based. I checked the MHRD rankings before finalizing it and thus, I am here. I chose the engineering course because I always thought of it when I was in school.

There was no such placement cell for this particular course. But the college does have a placement cell for the commerce people. And they get placement thorough college and average placement is only 2.5 lac per annum according to my concern. And college provides only 60% placement. We can't say 100% placement because placement is fully depends on students quality and skills. If he will more skills and he will get high package. College can arrange company for the students. I don't have any idea about the company but some company are uas, mtai, and vygon.
The best part of the. Department of English of SBSC is it's professors. You'll find a great friend in them.all the faculty members behave with us as a family member. They teach us in very well mannered so that we can get more knowledge from them. They teach us ineffective way. Not only they teach us only bookish knowledge they provide us practical knowledge of life also.i have English so I can about my English teachers effectively.

Yes, they provides scholarships for students from poorer sections of the society. Students have to be good in studies and extra curriculum activities.

As far as faculties are concerned, they are qualified. Hod's are of PhD level. But faculties give less marks in internals . They should help students (with internal grades ). Because ext. University exams are usually tough, if a student managed to get good marks in ext + ( good int. Marks ) then the overall percentage increases and the college result will also get increase
Every year college organised fest in the month of February . It is a 3 Day event which involve various activities, competitions, events etc . Students from different colleges can participate. But like other colleges no celebrity is invited . But overall the event is very well planned and managed by volunteers and faculty members
