There are many remarks in our college. It need to improve many facilities. It just showcases as if its working sincerely daily when NAAC or UGC comes but that should be present all the time.It also needs to take care of the cleanliness in case of washing the plates in the mess because many times by seeing the plates itself i stopped eating..One should never be cheated with the outlook of the college because it just looks like heaven and when you will be a student you will try to realize the true colors of it.
The college doesn't provide any internship opportunities but asks us to do internship and it is even a part of our curriculum. We use several applications like frapp ,Internshala to find both technical and non technical internships. The experience is good but the exposure that we get by getting exposed to the industrialized world is just awesome. The average stipend amount will be five thousand per month.

As our college is one of the finest college it's having so many placements. There are so many placements offered to students. Total of 1500 students have been placed in our college in the academic year. Topmost MNC companies like Delloit, Accenture,Wipro, CTS , Flipkart, Amazon like this so many . The max offered is 15lakh and the min is 2.4 lakh
After my graduationI have attended I-CET entrance exam.I have got a good rank that means about 5000 . Through Conveener quota I got the seat in Chaitanya Bharathi institute of technology. The admission process is simple. We have to pay money to bank through DD and then submit in college and have to pay some money as admission charge

AROHI is the cultural fest of our college. There are events like SUNBURN,Local Train etc. It also includes Dancing and other singing competitions. There is a event called stand up comedy. This fest all about having fun.AXIS is a technical fest of our college it includes many technical events where we get a chance to disclose our talents.
It is not mandatory to do our internship through college and we are free to choose company.I have done my internship in ATKINS,Bangalore. My experience was nice.stipend amount ranges between 40,000 and 4,000.There are quite good opportunities to get an internship through college.
The course was very defined with all the elements placed according to the semesters and years accordingly. There was a lot of focus on practical learning through site visits, study tours, architectural appreciation visits. There was a research conference held every year by the college a an annual event with people presenting there research papers on various topics. There were a whole lot of elevtives available to choose from (technical/design electives)
i gave the MHCET (Maharashtra common entrance test) through which i got DYPCOA through the cap rounds. Well i was always fascinated by buildings and the engineering that in making them and i did not want to take up the conventional route to engineering hence architecture as i also had a creative bend.

I choose CSC as i was interested in computer engineering. The course curriculum was good an it mainly focus on the practical experience rather than bookish knowledge. In every semester we need to submit a project in each subject, which carries some weight-age. There are more lab sessions than theory sessions. From this you can understand the importance my university gives for practical knowledge. Also my university is mentored by Imperial College of London.
The faculty are well qualified and has good experience in the field of teaching. They personally interact with students and find out the problems and try to sort them out. The faculty also lives in the campus and the students have thee facility to interact with them anytime. Most of the faculty are PhD holders from reputed universities.

Firstly i filled the exam form that i took from the college office it costs 500 the time took admission the office was not build properly so it was a pain in the ass then comes the verification part for which is also a headache becouse the no of students were more than 500 and omly 2 teachers were doing the verification after the verification u have to go to the office and take the fee challan for which there is a huge fight i rememberd that one of the groups brought belts and hockey sticks as if they will beat someone but one has to face these if one wants to study in that college.when u are done with these again the huge line comes for deposit which is outside bank...in short its a full of struggle for admission in the college.
There are labs but its boring the gender ratio can be said 1:1 as i have seen since its a missonery college so there is no restrictions for anything but events its a paiin in the ass if u try to do anything in the college regarding events and extra co curricular activities they didnt allow you to do anything but study the liabrary its so old that u see no one in the liabrary its empty dusting chairs and nothing else.
Campus life is nice, the students are friendly. both undergrad and postgrad students mingle together. With the relationship amicable. There are students from all corners of India and few from other countries as well. Like my batch has 2 students from Dubai, 2 from Poland and 1 from Nepal. The gender ratio is around 40% female vs 60% male students. Through a tie-up with Edu Sports, there are indoor and outdoor sports competitions throughout the year. Along with this, the huge number of clubs in place with their own range of competitions calls for amazing opportunities and an interesting time guaranteed. The competitions are on a huge scale with 150+ students participating in the flagship events like "speaker of the year" and "case blazer".
My admission process was smooth! To get an early start I applied through an online for prior to my board exams. Once my application was processed I was required to submit 2 letters of recommendation, 1 statement of purpose along with 10th & 11th mark sheets. Thereafter, clearing the first stage my skype interview was set up on a particular date. On clearing this stage I was extended an offer letter to join the institute post clearing my board exams. The details regarding the same were communicated at regular intervals from the Sion head office, these were sent alongside emails which I also received from the team.

I had given JEE mains and JEE advanced exam.I cleared both my exams with flying colors.I may get admission in an IIT if my rank colud be 3000 less than what i got.but bad luck that i dont get selected for IIT.I was getting admission in NIT jalandhar in chemical and some college in south east side but me and my parents were not ready as it was not that good college it was just average .I was getting chemical in NIT jalandhar but reviews about chemical engineering were not that good and i heard that UICET is best for chemical so i dropped the idea of going to nit jalandhar. Then came jac forms. If i got cse or electronics or elctrical in pec then i can accept pec but i hadnt had Chandigarh quota i dont even get a seat in electrical in pec bit if i had Chandigarh quota i can easily get that. Then option left was UIET before spot round i got IT then we went to PU to get our certificates testified and collect our joining letter which was a very hactic day as we reached at 9 in pu but we got our turn at roung 4 of clock as students were called according to their branches biotech then cse.As i was in it which means almost last means second last before mechanical and i really screwed with collge that day. After spot round i got cse then again same procedure but now one thing was different they uploaded time schedules for various streams so that at pu no such chaos or mess is created again. As i dont know what stream to take i just go priority list of most people..having cse at top then ece and then eee.It was nothing like a passion to do cse or biotech.what stream i will got i will just do it.
In first year it was very light year and their was not much stress bit in2nd year it looks like a mess having classes regularly from 9 to 5 all days.having just one break in between.viva to be taken by teacher in every lab and worse having tutorial and lab together making it a long lecture of 4 hours just sitting a dead body in a chair.at the end of day it feels like why i am coming to college.i just wanna give up but then u realise u have a college tomorrow and u have to complete the assignments and practicals and u have to also prepare for viva and u have to leave that thoughts behind.last one month of sem is worst first having minor 2 and then final practical and then finals in just 20 days .20 days are like a war which u have to complete and u dont have even time to breathe or think what the hell is happening

Placement are not good, because our college have science course, not have engineering course. But some companies are come in our college and they select many students, who have good knowledge, not matter on percentage. Infosys, HP, amazon..etc. Comapnies are come. Have a not good.
Events are very good in our college. Technical, cultural , managerial and a lot of events notice are stapled our notice board. With good faculties and good management, events are over. Many students participated in this field because this events are interested and attractive.

We have two sessional exams(or internals). Each sessional takes 15 percent weight age,so cumulatively total internal weight age is 30 percent. Weight age for end semester is 60 percent.Remaining 10 percent is of quizzes, assignments, projects etc. There is separate evaluation for labs,it consists of two tests of 40 marks each, where they ask us to perform the experiment and take viva, evaluation is based on performance and viva.Remaining 20 marks is for lab attendance and lab records.
It is a very good course.I suggest one to take EEE.Our institute focuses more on practical learning,we have labs for every subject where we get more practical exposure and gain knowledge on the equipments we use to generate electricity. We visit a power plant every year where we get to see all the processes taking place. There are many electives like social sciences, programming etc.

Yes, there are fests organized by the college for various departments. They do celebrate an “Inaugural day” on the first day of the commencement of the engineering semester. And there is also a college annual day function. The functions organized by the college are big and they do provide food, drinks, sweets and prizes on some competitions. I don’t know about the footfall. The college authorities do not contribute much in the organizing of the functions. But one can definitely get the permission to host or hold a special function with the help of their respective departments.
No, I did not write any college entrance test to get admission. But I do know that the college only accepts C.E.T seats and not COMEDK applicants. I had to take admission in this college as this was the only college near my home that could offer the course of my choice. NO, there was no interview process followed by the college in order to get admission in my current course. I decided to opt for ‘Mechatronics’ as it has a high scope and also has all my favorite subjects involved.

It is good and i love the way that every higher authority is making their full on efforts for placements. We will have classes for placements once or twice in a week. May be 80% plus. Accenture, Infosys etc. About 4 to 6 lakh per annum is average package i can guess.
Our college alumni visits frequently and they always want us to interact with them. They are on there own feet to explore and share their experiences with them.. I don't know that in what way they could have helped in developing college.

My university provides internship from the end of second year . Every student need to intern with a startup or a company and there are marks for it. If you are opting for an internship on your own then you need to inform the university regarding the internship. The duration of internship varies form year to year.In the second year the students need to intern for atleast 2 months.
Majority of the faculty in my university have PhD's from IIT's or from reputed universities of the world.Their standard of teaching is very good and they are highly interactive. Some faculty are involved in research work and they take students as their subordinates in the submission of the thesis work. In fact they mentor us in various fields.

Many events take place in campus , cultural , sports fest , athletic meets which happens on large scale . University authorities arrange all the things to conduct such events and work very hard in order to make it successful
There was a written entrance test and physical fitness test . I wanted to study in renowned university . There was no interview conducted . As I have completed my bachelor's in same stream so I want to pursue masters in it.

The course I chose is one of the best in our college . It focus on practicals and experiments. Research initiatives includes several projects that are running in our college.
Annual fest NEXUS is very famous for its grand celebration. College authorities perform their duty with full responsibility. Footfall is great. The fest lasts for 3 dys.
Nopes, the college didn't provide an internship. We had to manage it on our own, but yes the college did give us recommendations. My intern was with the DMRC (Delhi metro rail corporation) & DIMTS (Delhi integrated multi-modal transit systems). The two internships helped me gather knowledge about various aspects related to the construction field.
The course curriculum was splendid. It's not civil engineering and neither is its architecture. It's a blend of both. A huge emphasis was given on the case studies and industrial training for the students so as to nurture them according to the industry. Electives like high rise structures, prestressed concrete etc. were taught to us.

The course takes two years for completion . I chose pgdm as marketing and cooperate industry always fascinated me. The course is divided into four semester . Every semester we have five subjects , externals are of 100 marks whereas internals contains 50 marks of the paper. the practical classes are done periodically . Teachers ensure students to comprehend each concept deeply . To enhance knowledge students are given various projects during semester.
As placements raises the standard of a college effectively. our college has got one of the best placements cell. it aims to provide placements to all students under graduation and post graduation courses. companies such as reliance money, global inc, blue star, HDFC , virgin mobile come regularly for recruitment process.
In order to get a seat in the BBA program i had to write an entrance test called JET. In this test the questions will be of multiple choice. Following this, there was also a Group Discussion round. After getting selected in the first two rounds, the shortlisted students require to attend an interview session where the final selections would be made.
The course i chose was pretty good. There is equal focus on both theoretical and practical learning. I have just completed a semester here and as for now i haven't seen any research initiatives taken by the college. There is elective options in the third year where one can opt between marketing, finance, HR,etc.

Normally the placements in NITK commence in the beginning of the final year (Pre-final Semester) i.e. in the month of July. IT/CS has almost 100% placements every year, except for those who choose not to sit for the placements because of higher studies or any other personal interest. Wide range of companies visit college, so one can choose the company according to their field of interest. Some companies (like Uber and Adobe) pays as high as 30+ LPA, while Microsoft, Oracle, and few other companies pays 20+ LPA. Rest of the IT companies pay on an average 8 - 15 LPA. NITK strictly follows one student one company policy, i.e. once you're placed you cannot apply for other companies on campus (except if the company is super dream). (Refer http://placement.nitk.ac.in/ for exact placement statistics).
The kind of exposure we get here in NITK is tremendous. This is a full fledged place this is for both academics as well as extra curricular. NITK mainly has 5 technical clubs like (IEEE, ACM, ISTE, IE, IET) and not technical clubs like (Rotaract club, music club, dance club, Artist forum, etc). One can join any of these club based on their interest. It is the best place to network with people and one can take up their own project based on their interest, seniors and faculty will always be there to help.

Education was at a affordable price .good infrastructure and they have good faculty in total they have great team work going in college .about the fee structure I figures it lies between 23- 25k for all the under graduate students . Since there is no entrance exam and all so the fees remains the same to all the students. The fees involves the college tution fees, library, internet fees, sports, calender etc; it's pretty cheap for one year of course.
Placement cell is average ...but some companies do come like IBM ,northern trust bank. Placements for our course they rarely visit some 30-40% of students got placed the average package according to me is at around 6 lakhs but it literally depends upon the companies which visit our college, it's not too high nor too low as I said in the beginning its an average kinda thing.
