The faculty depends on the department and the date of joining since IITR is converted from the University of Roorkee. There are many faculty members who are there since that time. The thinking of this faculty is not so modern, so they might not be very helpful. Although you can also find some faculty members who are very helpful and interesting. Also, the teaching methods might not be as good as you would expect from an IIT professor. But most of the new teachers are good in research, teaching and also have a helping nature towards the students. The faculty to student ratio is good, about 20:1 including B.Tech, M. Tech, and PhDs. Industry exposure is hard to get in the academics. If you are lucky enough to have an on-campus industrial internship, you could get a chance of industrial exposure. The course curriculum is not very useful, although efforts are being made to change this.
Placements were overall good. Most of the companies that come to the campus are looking for a coding background. If you are in CSE, ECE, EE and you want to a coding job and have a decent CGPA, you will definitely get a great offer. However, if you are interested in core, there are very few companies. For ECE and EE, there were 3-4 companies. In mechanical, civil and metallurgy, the number of core companies is the same. Still, about 70-80% students get placed. Also, a few companies with finance and management roles come to the campus. The highest package varies every year but is generally about Rs. 40 lakhs for on-campus placements, and off could go up to Rs. 1 crore. The lowest can be as low as Rs. 3 lakhs per annum depending on your branch.
Placements : I am specifying about the seniors of my department. The placements in the core department were not very good. Out of 60 students, only 9 preferred to go for core. Most of the others went for Machine Learning and Data Analytics. The average salary was 9 lakhs per annum, the maximum was 19 lakhs per annum, and not placed was the minimum. Major companies in core field were Schlumberger, Tata and semiconductor companies. Out of every 5 students of the college, only 2 got the official internships from the college. The rest were trying on their own. The highest was 3 lakhs per month (computer science students) and nil was the lowest.
IITs are meant to be created for research purpose. There are lots of modern laboratory in every department equipped with lots of modern devices which you will not get easily in other engineering colleges. Coming to my course there is lots of opportunities in so many fields. You can have your research in core mathematics like Number theory, linear algebra and Complex analysis. You can have research in other advanced field like data mining ,cryptography and networks ,operation research and others .

SPA delhi is one of the premier institutes to study B.Arch in India. Here you get a lot of ample opportunities to learn through practical learning. You get the best sources to study here. If you love creative and challenging courses, then you have come to the right place.
Well the placement scenario keeps on changing but in the present sadly architecture is a profession that is not paid much. this is the reason very few get placements that too at low salaries. But if you have a reputed college name on your back, it is always easy to get jobs.

Placement was good . 70% students were placed Accenture, ITC, Justdail , Vodafone, BNY Mellon, Axis, etc and many other companies visited our campus . 2.5 to 3.0 per annum
Campus is excellent, infrastructure is very good. I think college should provide more placement opportunity for students. I has an amazing experience in my campus.

Different types of exams were conducted like internals, labs and externals.for internal exams faculty will be told the syllabus and how we got the questions type. And labs were conducted afernoon section for last 2 hours every day.external exams are more effective . we find a more tough for getting a good rank in my branch and I always face the exams with very interesting because I love the ranks which will announced after the exam results and I enjoyed a lot in that examination ranks.
Every year our college will participate in all type of events.on techinical side fest's will conducted and industrial tours.cultural activies also conducted and in my college every festival was celebrated grand and in that we will participate with dance , dramas etc and conduct sports like kho kho , kabadhi , cricket, volleyball , tennis, chairs games and some more events are conducted for entertainment and every moment I enjoyed a lot.

campus life is good and gender ratio in b tech is very poor but in other departments like economics and other that have very good gender ratio and its so called engineering so no of girls are low we have 9 girls among 80 boys and rest everything is very good here nice sports infrastructure

Course curriculum are strictly followed by university rules. Research works are done in various departments .Some of our management publications are 'Operations Management in a Demanding World for SMEs',“Loading and Unloading System Design for External Centerless GrindingMachine Using Automation” ,“Numerical Investigation of linear first order Fuzzy Differential Equations using He’s Homotopy Perturbation Method”.
This college has a brilliant placement cell and every year, the percentage of placed students is increasing. Big multinational companies like Amazon, Infosys, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra and many IT-based companies come to this college. Many students got placed in these big companies. I am presently a 3rd-year student of this college in the ECE department and this year, the placement was outstanding. As I am a hostel student, we had 30 final-year students in our hostel and 27 of them got placed. The highest package was 6 lacs per annum from the hostel and 7 lacks per annum overall. The average package offered is 3 lacs per annum. Around 20% students got the internship from the college. Overall, the placement of this college is up to the mark.
During my time, the college was under West Bengal University of Technology (presently called Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology). Now, the college has become autonomous with its first batch passing out in 2019. My course structure was in accordance with the university guidelines. It is just like any other engineering colleges'. We are given to chose the electives as we want, except in the final year, where we are bound to study the electives which our college provides. Research-related activities are very rare to find in this college. Except a few professors, no one is actively involved in this type of work.

Well experienced and qualified faculties is the one of the highlight of my college. The faculties are supportive throughout day and night. They are even ready to take night classes to develop their students to achieve a good future. Management wing is highly cooperative and the supportive too.college conducts different programs which provide a good exposure to the students. practical labs are well setup. labs are always avail to the students to do their academic projects .well infrastructures campus.
Engineering degree in mechanical department gave me good knowledge about the working of machine, automobiles, designing of mechanical parts, quality engineering management etc. Ofcourse, we had college club to encourage new project developments students. My elective is Quality engineering and management.

They has scheduled the lab in frequently on every week.daily three hours out of seven hours lab on day wise. day wise laboratory fixed the class and year based. Anna university give common date for examination in all engineering colleges. external faculty supervisor on every exam.additionally college every month conducted internal exam on every subject

The faculty team is very qualified with most of them having completed their PhD in their respective courses. They are very helpful in making the subjects to learn easily by providing various reference materials and useful lectures. The student to faculty ratio is one faculty member per 10 students which is a good One. The students are exposed to various industry related studies and are well known to such environments.
The institute website Does not show the kind of research that is going on the Institute. So you need to go to professors profile to check what he has been working on and talk to them directly to get some assistance in working in your area of interest. The course is structured in a manner that will make you capable of knowing the history as well the present scenario What the industry is needed these days.

The student gender ratio is not equal.. There are a lot more guys than girls in the college. But that's mostly because only a few girls opt for engineering. Like in a class of 35 students, there will be maximum of 8-10 girls, not more. And yes, there are various extracurricular activities organised in the college, and not only during the fests, but other than that too. There are many debate competitions, literary events organised during the Literary Fest. And cultural events happens in every fest, every occasion, even on teachers day, students performs in front of others and have various activities. During Zest, the technical fest, we have robotic competitions, make something useful out of junk, and many other such events, which were really good. There are many workshops held every year in HBTU about Robotics, App Development, Web Development etc which helps the students very much.
There are many events and fests held in HBTU. We have a technical fest named Zest, a cultural fest named Odyssey, and also Sports fest and hobby fest too.. We even have annual sports meet for alumni, in which even the alumnis of our college and the students, both tale part. The biggest fest in our college is Odyssey, which is a fest of 3 days, in which various celebrities are called every night of the fest, and participation from the students of our college, and even the colleges from outside also, is very high. And the combined technical fest, Zest has been started from last year only, before that there were many technical fests from different branches. Zest is also a 3 day event and various speakers, and role models are called to motivate and inspire the students. And in this fest too, the participation from the students from every year is high.

The college supports students to attend internship. Even faculties help students to attend internship. It was an awesome experience. Average stipend amount was 10k.
About 90% students get placed every year. Companies like infosys, wipro, accenture visit this college.Average package is 3 lakh.
The faculty members in the college or helpful, highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching methods they use it or modern education, Smart learning which involves the Victorian a presentation, projecting the slides which are useful for a quick understanding of the students. The student faculty ratio is high. I didn't get any industrial exposure. The curriculum is useful.there more interactive too.
The course curriculum was average and outdated one.yes it concentrates equally on academics and practical learning.there are some research Institute is also taken by the Institute. The course includes class timetable ,events ,departments ,syllabus etc .. designed in a proper way that students get Attached to it.

The faculty members are well-qualified, most of them having done their Masters or Ph.D. from some reputed college. Due to no compulsory attendance, the lecture slides are most of the times uploaded on an online portal and they are the same slides used to teach the students in the classroom. The lectures can have a huge student-teacher ratio such as 400:1 or 250:1 but the tutorials every week are well-designed and usually have a ratio of 40:1 or 50:1. There are a lot of evaluative components so you get to test whether you have really understood what is being taught. The Practice School 1 and 2 is essentially designed to provide the required industrial exposure and the courses sure help in implementing the projects that are given during these sessions.
In BITS there is a different curriculum as compared to other engineering colleges there are some compulsory subjects which everyone has to study to get degree and there are some optional subjects which should be picked by the students but every student has to take one subject from it. Here you can do your own research where even the teachers helps you a lot and the university supports student in many ways.

This is one of the good colleges in Visakhapatnam. Rules and regulations are followed very strictly. Good ventilation facilities are provided in the classrooms. ACs are provided in the computer labs. So many programs are conducted like fest, freshers, etc. Workshops are conducted on campus and in individual departments.
Maximum faculty members are retired professors from Andhra University while the remaining are from IITs and NITs. We got the industry exposure and the course curriculum is useful. All the faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. When coming to student and faculty ratio, it is 12:72.
the campus like is good if your are an extrovert, you het it enjoy it more. the gender ration is 1:1.5 probably. the diversity in manipal is huge, there are people from all over the country, they adapt to manipal student life, food, weather, language etc. the college has a lots of extracurricular activites and workshops happening all the time. there is inter department sports events. and a mega fest very they have toast masters, dramatics, debates competitions.
For placements, the college is pretty average. The placements are a joined effort between faculty and the candidates. The campus life is good as the college has all the facilities like library, close proximity to the city, auditorium and much more. The college provides training where the candidates are trained for the industries. The interact with the industry guest lecturers who share their experiences and provide more knowledge to the candidates.
The first thing while looking for a college is its past placement statistics. DA, as it is popularly known will not disappoint you. More than 60 companies paid a visit during the 2016-17 placements, offering both internships and full-time jobs. Invite range of companies(both American and Indian)has recruited the final year students.some of the big names in the process of Amazon, Morgan Stanley, direct I, sprinkler, FactSet, Samsung, practo, SAP labs etc. The list runs quite long most of the companies look for desirable software engineers who hold strong base in data structures and algorithms. DA has achewed almost hundred percent placements in 2016. The highest salary offered is 40 lakhs per annum, the average salary 6.5 lakh per annum, and the lowest salary is four lakh per annum.
The institute provides financial support in the form of scholarships to enable students as per details given below DAIICT scholarships-if you students admitted to the program would be awarded merit scholarships equivalent to full tuition fees .The institute shall draw a list of students eligible for merit scholarships busy on that mission runs drawn from Gujarat and all India category separately. The placements are above average and better than most private colleges. This year, some of my seniors in ECE got placed on the campus in Amazon at 12 lakhs pa. Also, one senior in CSE got placed in Google, although the number is only one. The rest got placed in mass recruiters. But the number of students placed in core companies is higher this time. The quality is increasing year after year. Companies like Tisco, Tata, TCS, Accenture, Amazon, Google, BSNL, Vodafone, etc. visit the campus. The highest salary is 42 lakhs by Google and the lowest is 2 lakhs by the mass recruiters. The students here start internships in the 2nd year itself in companies of their choice by companies like BSNL and Air India for ECE and electric supply boards for EEE and in IT companies for CSE students.
All professors are a minimum post graduate in their particular subject. Many of them are also Ph.D. in that field. Although the student teacher ratio is a bit on higher side, a particular faculty can be approached when needed. The lab attendants are well qualified for practical studies. Faculty members are mainly from south India. They are highly qualified and supportive. Foreign faculty members are also coming here for guest lectures.Teaching methods are generally exam based which is for getting marks in the exam. The student-faculty ratio is around 30:1.
