The campus is lively all the time (other than when the security demands ID cards in every single place.) The gender ratio is roughly normalised at 50% and no such segregation of boys and girls. Every year the hostelites host a party for the freshers and there's not a lack of places for any sort of activities from sports to just hanging around. Regular activities like poster making, debate contests, sports selections are ever present.

The course curriculum is the same as any other VTU affiliated college. They do try to improve it with certain poster making contests, quizzes, innovative and case study questions in the internal papers. As far as focus on research goes, there's not much of a drive on that topic. They do call industry experts for talks on topics where possible but it is pretty handicapped when compared to the flexibility of autonomous institutions.

I had secured 89.9 percentage in my 12 standard which wasn't sufficient for me to enter this college since forward caste had a greater demand. So I had to enter through the management quota but in this no capitation fee was taken. I had approached the Rajalakshmi office which was located in New Avadi road in Chennai and got in touch with them which could help me secure a seat in this college.

Computer science and engineering department was placed the best department of the year in my college for this year and has the capability to continue to be one. All the staff are very potential and talented and handle students in such a way that they are exposed to knowledge more than their books. The be well prepared and give a very lively atmosphere in the classes.

The faculty of this college is good and most of them have a good experience. If you make them feel interested they are very generous. They are able to complete the syllabus in ample enough time and give practice and revision classes as well. Most of them are generous but there are some strict teachers as well but they have mostly been helpful.

The gender ratio was good almost 70:30 ratio of boys and girls. There were good but not much amount of extra curricular activities that were done in the college. There were no issues of racism/sexualism in our 4 years of college. If there were any issues i may not be aware of so please try to look somewhere if you are concerned about it.

The faculty provided us fr the curriculum has to be PH.D level. All the teachers has knowledgeable person in the particular subject which they teach very practical n experienced faculty should provided by the college. They all are giving the awareness about the outside world n research going to be with the course.

Events are celebrated in college yearly. February is the month of events. All the technical n cultural events are to be taken in that technical events are arranged by the respected course. Cultural events us arranged by the college. Committees was to be established to manage the all the events programs.

This college does not provide any kind of scholarships to any student. Neither loan facility is available to anyone. But it does provide some help to needy students to make part payments of fees, for that student has to fill a form and specify the exact dates on which fees will be paid. Students belonging to EBC (Economically Backward Class) category get refund of 50% of their fees from university.

I got admission through Maharashtra's Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). Admission process was in the form CAP Rounds. I got admission in CAP Round Two. CAP means Centralised Admission Process. It means you have to submit names of colleges of your choice in a preference which you like and admission will be given to you according to your merit in your most preferred college.

At my Time its 12000+ for first Semester and 8000+ for second semester college fees only. Its cheaper than all the other NIT Colleges in India. Hostel fees are differentiate between 1200-2000/month depends on the which Mess you choose for your Meals. These prices are from 2006-2009. It will be increased many times than the mentioned fees above.

Regularly course curriculum will be changed based on the current market and trend. Like every 4-5 years once they will do market analysis and based on that will change the curriculum. It would be very helpful in the doing the Job. I can assess the course curriculum is very helpful to the current job point of view.

There are 4 semesters of 4-5 months each. Not that hectic. It was normal and more focus was on case studies, presentations etc. There were many other seminars from external faculties also. 10 lectures per week of 3 hours per lecture. College also conducted few labs with association with companies like bloomberg.

It's not that great as they took many students which is beyond their limit of placements. Major recruiters are HDFC Bank, JP Morgan chase, ICICI Bank, ibexi, SBI life insurance, ETG etc. Around 330 got placed through college out of 550 students. They take more students then they placed 70℅.

The courses are set by Pune University so it is as per standard. The course curriculum is standard and does not deviate. They try to introduce other soft skills into it, and some worked while some were a waste of time and energy to be honest. But the soft skills were mostly for other branches. They did not have those for Mech Engg.

There were 4 girls in my class out of 72 boys. But later, the girls were decently represented. Other branches had a good number of girls. Students came from all over Maharashtra and all over from India, so it was a healthy mix of people. There were sports competitions once a year, and same with cultural fest.

I joined this college through management quota. As of that I have no good enough rank to get a seat through convener quota. I just came to college and spoke to administrative head of college and gone through the terms and policies. I asked to get me admission in Electronics branch and they said that I need to pay particular amount and they said about all the required certificates that I need to submit.

The time when I joined this my department(Electronics and communications engg.dept) consists of 4 Ph.D professors including HOD. but later on it got decreased to 1 Ph.D professor and rest of all are assistant and associate professors. Not only in my Dept but in all other departments there is the same situation. If I should really talk about faculty it's really disappointing.

Every semester is divided into 3 terms - T1, T2 and T3 and vivas. Every term has their share in the final grading of the semester. It might have got changed now. In my time, T1 was of 15 marks, T2 of 25 marks and T3 of 35 marks. Rest 25 marks were of vivas and practicals. And according to your score out of 100, you're graded. Each grade has certain value that contributes to your overall CGPA.

In my time, the per semester fees was Rs. 35000/- and an annual development fees of 75,000. It might have changed or increased now. If you opt for hostel facility, the charges are extra. The per semester fees is somewhere around 35,000. Overall, if you're from a different city, your annual expense including everything would be somewhere around 1.5-2 lakhs.

Faculty is really good in college and continually gets adding more. Good quality of sports material is provided and preferred every year. Labs are maintained monthly and are very clean and tidy. Library of college consists of mite than a lakh books which can be accessed in less than a minute.

For every exam, there are courses going on, if not then teachers can help you out anytime. Quality of courses are available for foreign languages such as German, French, Japanese, Spanish, Russian and many more as per schedule. Also there is special course for CAT students.

Many of my friends got placed in many IT companies, but they failed to offer core jobs. Which students will have max competition when they go for an off campus interview.

I didnt write any entrance exam. In tamil nadu we did not have any entrance exam for engineering courses. we will join through common counselling.

There are 2 assessments accounting for 50% of marks and end semester accounting for another half. Labs are frequent and it's hard to completely understand it through the limited time.Assessment 1 takes place for 50 marks and assessment 2 for another 50 marks. The total would be considered for 50 marks. The end semester marks is for 100 marks and only 50 marks is considered into account.

Fees is very very cheap of about nearly 20,000-30,000 an year and concessions are there for SC /SC students and for first graduates. Scholarships are available. It also depends for both Regular and Self Serving courses.Here Self servicing courses and also sandwich courses are somewhat higher than that of the regular courses.

The course curriculum was good . However the university which we are affiliated is not good . Its called " vishweshraya technological university" they are not fair in their correction and are always trying to fine the students or earn money through revaluation.

Except mechanical and civil other branches have good placements. Some companies are hp , tcl , infosys , global infotech , decathlon, army ,navy , airforce , other IT companies.

PESSAT examination, i took up the examination by registering myself on the official pes website they give us the examination date choice and slots can be chosen by us and we have to go and give our exam and after that the next day. We will have our GDPI group discussion and personal interview which will be for about half a day the results will be announced within few days.

The exam structure is completely based on bangalore university but again we were the last batch to be under BU later next year it was pes university which had its own set of rules and courses and BCA was no more.

There are not more placements in our college . Our college is not more big or something. It's was established in 2008 so not in more demand .Yes there are some placement for the students who are in university topper list . Not for who are in 60 or Bello bersents even not having placements for distinction students.

No, our college don't provide internship. It's not as an assignment or any thing .If for our experience we can go for internship only for the certificate nothing else. We went for internship for 15 days but there was no extra knowledge we gained it was just a time pass program.

I have scored 53333 rank in EAMCET examination and I have opt this college because it's suits me best in many ways and it is the best college in our Home town.

The placement and jobs are very good and our college has a separate department for training us for campus recruitment and training in all aspects.

No entrance exam here.It's only through single window counselling process conducted in Anna university, Guindy, Chennai. I scored 95% in my 12 th class and cut off marks of about 198.0 .There is no interview procedures here.I opted this college since it is the one of the most renowned colleges in Tamilnadu state.

No it doesn't provide any internship programs .But in our curriculum, we have internship to do and submit an detailed description of it. Only way to get internship is by getting through the companies by prior permission or by yourself through persons you know personally.

Took seat in this college thru karnataka common entrance test, and joined. Admission was done thru karnataka government central education board, college was impressive so was the campus, and faculty . So i joined here .

College celebrated many fest like cultural fest, technical fest , holi, freshers day, fairwell party and many more events celebrated in my college.

There were a lot of events celebrated in our college right from annual festival of the college named zeal to branch wise events like yantra, abacus which was mainly focussed on the core concepts of the academic in which students used to present their ideas wheres zeal was full of entertainment.

The fee structure was overall feasible compared to the their colleges as in our dirst year of engineering. I had to pay around 60,000, then in the second year the fee was increased to around 70,000 and i do not know the reasons why it was done, so overall it was feasible for students.
