The course which i preferred is information technology and it is ever green course in b.tech to become a software engineering so i choosed this course and other courses are also better but i have interest in software field. So i choosed this one.courses has been announced by the college.

In our college every year we celebrate annual day competition, sports competitions, fresher day competition, fare well like that and fest different colleges will come and participated in the fest like this we celebrate more in our college we people play sports well.

There is no placements for the students. Many colleges in ahmedabad does not give placements after the course completion. The campus is full of commerce and arts students. So the students have to search for the job on their ownself. Everyone of us were on our own and the chances for placements after the course completion is zero by our college.

There were different festive days organised by the student union along with the college management i.e. Rose day, casual day, checkers day, formal day, saree day, black and white day etc. on the festival days, no one come to college as its holiday. Cultural fest are held by the university.

The course curriculum was split into 8 semesters, Each semester of 6 months each starting from August 2005. In the 1st Sem, the courses were generic for all the branches and constituted of advanced basics of Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Dynamics, Manufacturing, computers etc from 2nd Semester onward the courses were more of Mechanical stream oriented and were more precise.

SRM JEE scored 160 out off 300, Opted for SRM as it was one of the highly reputed colleges and provided a good campus placements. During my year of passout we had close to 25 companies who visited our campus and at the end of them mostly 84% of my colleagues were holding atleast 1 offer in hand.

The daily classes are hectic instead of exams. There are written cases to be submitted everyday. There are two assignments for each subject of a semester. There is one Mid Term paper and End Term paper. There are surprise test which also count in final results. The most important part is class participation marks given by faculty in each lecture which have high weightage in final results.

Compared to other colleges the fee structure is feasible. Total fees to be submitted is 6lac for 2 years of program. Initially students have to submit 75000 and rest are to be paid in instalments. Students can take loan from banks and submit the check in account department. Students can also submit the complete fees at a time.

Faculties are well qualified. There are atleast 3-4 Professor in each branch. Faculties are very supportive and experienced. Especially Civil Branch Faculties are good. Faculties are also updated with latest technologies and softwares. Lots of faculties are from south India and northern part.

Placement is average. For mechanical students Oil, Ashai, PowerGrid etc comes. Avg package:-3-4 lakh p.a It companies like Tech Mahindra, wipro, Zaloni etc comes for pool drive. Normally company comes in Nearby NIT and at guwahati.

Not expensive for government funded courses but highly expensive for self funded courses. For PG courses govt. funded as I remember it is maximum 30-40 thousand a year that time, now a days maximum it will be 50-60 thousands per year. There was some provision for backward, ST & SC and other students those are physically challeged for fee concession.

This part is missing, there is no campus placement from college side but very good for competitive exams and many students qualified the NET & other state level exams. I think they have to improve in this filed and make an arrangement for campus placement.

There were numerous events organized by different clubs in the college. There was Diksha for freshers, Le Fiest us as an annual fest. Other small events were equally shared by all the clubs. Tech Fest was organised by the tech club. on similar lines, Literary Fest, rendezvous were organised. We used to have Bon fire and numerous flash mobs.It was really fun being in college.

I applied for this college by filling up the college form before the exam. Based on my AIEEE ranking, I was called for the counselling. During counselling I was given option to fill up my details and the preferences for courses. There was a screen displaying the numberos seats left for the courses in real time so that we could make better choices.

University entrance exam, Rank 21 Because of its popularity and good guide, it is 100 years old college, hence i have selected this college/university to purse my higher education.

College celebrated many fest like kagada fest , milagro fest, IEEE event and many more is celebrated in my college.

College follows the standard JNTU curriculum and is good enough to make one well versed in the filed of information technology. The curriculum is quite similar to computer science. Subjects are well distributed among the 8 semesters. The first year consists of all subjects from all the main streams engineering ( JNTU course)

Faculty of the college are a mix of well experienced people and also youth. The labs are manned by young professionals ready to help students. The curriculum is quite similar to computer science. Placements are good. People usually got a job if he don't have any supply. I also got a job from placement in a very good reputed multinational company in Gurgaon. Various organizations like HCL, WIPRO, INFOSYS, HITACHI, HOTEL TAJ, GABRIEL, MARUTI come for placements.

I appeared in AIEEE exam, Got good marks and rank in it. Complete the online application and priorities the various branches and colleges in it. Got a chance to study in Hindu college of engineering, sonipat. Pay the fees in the college and reserved my seat.

No entrance exam. Once you fill up the admission form and courier the same to the college. You will be intimated via mail to bring all my certificates like 10th, 12th and conduct certificate. They would verify the same. Once you have been selected they would ask us to make the payment and they will also intimated the college opening day.

Once my Faculty explained the flow and logic, I got and learnt from my Great Faculty. We got full marks. Believe he was great Faculty I ever had. He was my HOD with good experience. He never gets bored in explaining the subject knowledge he ever had.

The exam structure is one of the best and chilled out. One can easily handle the stress if all the lectures were attended sincerely. Minimum requirement for passing is 40 on aggregate basis taking in to consideration internal marks that are awarded by the college on exams that are conducted by the college on timely basis. 50% weight age is given to the internal marks and remaining 50% for external.

For getting enrolled in MBA course in this college, you have to qualify the UPSEE exam which is conducted by APJ Abdul Kalam University. I qualified the entrance exam with a rank of 192 which enabled me to select the college which I wanted accordingly. I specifically wanted to opt for this college because it has one of the best faculty and is among one of the top rated colleges in the city.

Definitely, the campus life was very much formative, lively and educative. The gender ratio favoured the girls. The students participated and enjoyed various parties, programs and workshop/ seminars etc. There is no caste based differentiation but students are affiliated to different political ideologies and belong to economic diversity.

I passed the B.Com. (Hons.) in 1988 and secured 61% with rank - 6th in the Utkal University. So I was selected to took up the M.Com. course in the year 1988. Then I Completed my M.Com. with 72.50% and ranked 1st to took admission into M.Phil. in Commerce in 1990 and finally registered myself into Ph.D. programme in the year 2007.

Every year my college will conduct anniversary by inviting the guests who have good name in society. Every year my college will conduct technical fests. Other college students will attend to my college to participate in may events on the fest. My Head of department always encourages to do some thing different which should be useful to all the students.

Faculty was good in some courses. There are some courses which are really good in teaching concepts but poor at giving practical uses cases. College have technical knowledge centers like like IBM center of excellence, Microsoft learning center which provides the student to learn the different tools which he/she has interested to learn.

I got into this reputable institute through EAMCET exam in which I secured 10127 rank which was helpful in getting into this college. The institute's reputation for its sheer performance of the CSE department and the life of the students during and after their study years has made me to choose this particular college. It is a Research Oriented Holistic Education with focus on Academics & Value Addition.

The course structure mainly focuses on the students abilities to secure good results and the research under the supervision of the faculty members. There are a number of labs which encourage the students to do their research fluently and without any constraints. The curriculum of the coarse is student friendly and there is a lot of free time which helps to assess ones capabilities with an ease.

For qualifying for the technical interview conducted in Amity Noida, the criteria was set to have more than 70% in PCM in 12th board. I got 78% in PCM and qualified the technical interview. Moreover, the new entrance examination, Amity-JEE, has been brought into place for selection of students. Amity is the best private institute in Delhi NCR area. It has the best infrastructure, rankings and global reputation for its academics.

Again, being a 3rd year student I can't spread much light in this aspect but the involvement of the core companies are very few. The companies like Hyundai, Honda, Ford, etc visit the college for placements but, ironically, not for the Mechanical students. So, the option in case of the core companies are limited, but the placements overall is good with average package of almost 3.5-4.5 lac (just a rough approximation).

The fees structure is not so expensive. You can take admission very minimal fees. Apart from these you have to pay exam fees only as described with the university rules. So no need to worry about fees. But yes other expenses are there like to print notes, to purchase practical books and material.

The exam structure is as, there are 2 exams in a year like semester pattern. And practicals for live demos. Exam days are same for all college students and same in our college as well. You know that no one wants to give the exam, because it all about what we did in through out the year.

Well lot of companies(80-100 companies) visit our campus both pooled and non pooled. Job opportunity is excellent. Companies varying from banglore startups to well settled companies. Almost 92-93% of CSE and IT guys got placed. However statistics of other branch is not good this year .Companies like delloite, hp, dell, microsoft ,book my show, SAP etc have come this year with Accenture, Infosys, Wipro ,IBM,Cognizant being the day 1 companies.

Most of the faculty are good and efficient in their respective fields.Also most of them hold phd degree from IIT . All of them are s friendly making student friendly university. Structure is designed such that a teacher can be changed if most of the students don't get it right from the teacher. student to teacher ratio is 60:1.

It is feasible, every college has different fees in IP university, Maims Charge 2.5 lakhs for the full MBA course. You have to make payment yearly of 1.25 lakh each in the starting of every year. This is the good thing in IP university as the fees are low to do an MBA and is in the reach of people who aspire to do an MBA and do not want to spend huge money there are universities in market who charge more than 10 lakhs.

Course curriculum was average, IP university is an average university for MBA. For engineers they are still better but for MBA they are not good. They do not have good placements and even the main campus at dwarka doesn't provide you good college placement. You have to work hard urself and give off campus interviews to get placed. Some companies do come but the package they offer will be in the range if 2-5 lacs max.
