Exam structure was completely different from state university (UPTU). A lot of importance was given to the internal marks. Out of 100, 40 marks was for attendance, assignments, class tests & presentation (project). 40 marks was for semester exams and 20 marks for mid term exams. An individual needed just 40 marks to pass that particular subject in the semester & with the help of mid term and internals.

During our time this was the only issue and a major one where my college lacked behind. The placement were the worst. Out of 250 ECE students only 30-40 students got placed that too in an BPO company. Not a single MNC came for recruitment (HCL, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc. none of them came) and the ones that came they hired only 5-6. Same was the scenario for other branches as well.

Through ST Reservation. Received an email calling for counselling after which we had to pay our fees and attach our documents with the challan. Required documents are 12th Marks, ST certificate, Birth Certificate, etc. You can either apply online or go to the administration office and get the prospectus for 700 and the entrance exam for 1500.

It's pretty well organised and balanced. The course I opted was BA.LLB and there were two from which I have to choose. One is arts and the other is commerce. So all the subjects which students from BA studies we also cover all those subjects. And we have 10 semesters so there are a lot of subjects on one particular course.

Admission process centralised and the required set of documents during the admission process was shared with me on mail. So, I was well prepared when I went for admission. The admission process was very simple as a list of all the candidates who had selected this college for admission was available at the centre. All the document verification process, and other formalities were completed in quick time.

Technovista was the technical paper event where the papers were invited from other colleges as well. Seminars were conducted by management gurus now and then. Every year in January, we use to celebrate cultural events to start the even semester with joyful start. College was encouraging students to take part in other college events and there by successful students were appreciated as well.

I got admission through the Minority quota. I had a composite score of 91.8. Composite score was a combination of JEE mains + 12th boards marks which was used for admission process. I was selected through the cap process as well since I had a good score but I chose the minority way so that. I could secure an admission and still look for other colleges in the next cap round.

The course structure is very outdated since it's under Mumbai University. It's not the colleges fault but the university's fault. Mumbai University updated it's curriculum in 2007. After that, the portion was reduced in 2012 but we are still studying stuff which was new in 2007 which is actually pretty outdated in my field at least.

We used to celebrate our days without any worries, there were Cultural Fest and I assume that was the Best Fest on that time. Also Sports were an Integral part of our college days be it Football or Cricket. Students used to manage all these Fests and Events and I remember all best Music Bands used to come & play on those events.

Food Tech Faculty was Best in Class. Also their knowledge on subject was on different level. Also we have got a very good guidance from different departments like Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science. Also the Evaluation process was very good. All the professors used to encourage students to learn the subject.

Course curriculum is not quite research focused to-be honest. It's like classic Indian "follow the marks" like structure. Although the electives were quite career decisive. Such as if you wanna get specialist in microprocessors we had 3 subjects to make the core more settled. As well as for networking career we were assigned for 3 networking related subjects. The focus on programming subjects was quite diminutive though.

Talking about faculty the Head of the department was a scholar guy with envisioned course structure for students so that they could easily get a job opportunity. He also pressed students to research targeted education through mini projects and projects, thought, the syllabus was not that research friendly he managed to get away with it. Other teaching faculty had super interest to teach each and every aspect of subjects.

Admission process consist of a valid MAT score card followed by Group discussion and then Personal interview and final merit on basic of the above three process they filter out the applicants and then select only 60 candidate for the course. The process of selecting is quite transparent as its not like private colleges running after student's so that their seats can be occupied and no vacant seat is left but here in soon university.

The fee structure is not that high as compare to private colleges as it is a government body, our course is a self financed one so as compare to other courses of our institute its quite high. We are paying around 60,000 per semester including hostel but the fee structure of other courses are feasible. And around 30,000 for day scholar's so it's completely feasible fee structure as compared to private colleges running around.

This college has different department for placement. This year we had around 70-100 students placed from all the departments ( Computers, IT, Electronics, ExTc) With the basic salary of 3.3 lacs. The highest of this year was 6.3 lacs. Companies like TCS, L&T, Diebold, Mindcraft etc. Students were placed on the basis of their academics scores ( above 6.5 CGPA) and the aptitude test organised by different companies.

The gender ratio is pretty good here. Its 1:1. or 50-50 you can say. There are various workshops held. Like university fairs, counselling, robotics workshops to make students understand about what they need in their future. There is gym and college grounds that shows college supports sport. overall its good.

During my time it was 12th Std Board exams for BE and 10th Std board exam for diploma with first 250 students in marks get admission as there were 250 seats in all branches of engineering that time plus some reserved seats for SC/ST and today there is weightage to CET exam. Which is entrance and Gate for masters degree programs.

Faculty very good and most are Masters and PHDs in their field with good academic and industry knowledge.During my time 1983 to 1987 Dr Gupchup our principal was authority on Civil and Structural engineering and most are masters and PHDS with good knowledge and industry experience in their field of study.

We had pretty hectic schedule but the accomplishments made us happy enough to enjoy even after end of the day. We had one class test per month, Class presentation per week, Open book test per month, Lab test per month, Extra lab time if needed, Assignments to be submitted per month, New mini project per month, Major project per semester.

All the major multi national companies offer on campus interviews . due to great reputation of college many extra opportunities were given. Many companies like Infosys , Cognizant, TCS, wipro, Accenture, l&t, mu sigma visited campus and 75-80% students got placed with package 3.5-5 lacks per annum.

Campus life is happy going. Labs are all upgraded, sports are encouraged, debates and robotics competition take place. Gender ratio is 25-75% during our times. should have improved by now. There are talks. Studies are top priority and life is balanced. Library is super stacked. People are encouraged to make a good use of it.

Exam structure is university semester exams and 2 mid terms exams. Mind you, mid terms and practical exams are more difficult than final exams held by university. The rigor of the college is more than the course. Its advised to prepare for it and its as near to real world as possible. All students would agree to it.

The fee structure here is a bit high than a middle-class person can afford. Recently it has been raised to around 2 lack per year. Although people from poor backgrounds are given some scholarships which reduces their fees a lot. As I am in the second year my fees is around 1.4 lack per year which includes hostel and mess fees. So fee structure was feasible before the changes made by the government.

Campus life here is awesome. It's the cleanest place i have ever seen. The diversity in students is large Students are here from almost each and every state. The gender ratio is not good here and it is around 900 boys to 100 girls ratio. We have a lot of clubs or cultural societies like cinema club, dance club, music club etc. We do have elections every year for the council formed by students.

Average Fee in 7 lacs for 2 years MBA. Does not include your living and day to day expenses. Fee structure is ofcourse expensive being a college in Delhi NCR and secondly it is a college which is quite renown and hence the fee structure goes on a higher side you have to spend good amount of money in my days. It was around 7 Lacs came to know that now a days it is costing around 11-12 Lacs of total throughout two years money wise.

100 percent placement for last 10 years I know. EMPI has string Alumni network to boast of. Companies, You name it AMEX, COKE, ICICI , HDFC, DHL, FEDEX, Naukri.com, Amazon, Dena Bank, Genpact, Axis Bank, ABN amro, Airtel, Baja Capital and the list goes on 2015 Batch Maximum CTC - 9.10 Lacs p.a. Average CTC - 5.12 Lacs p.a. Minimum CTC - 3.85 Lacs p.a.

We used to have a Management event every year, wherein students from different colleges in different cities were invited, they were also provided with the facility of accommodation and food at reasonable cost. The event was spread over the duration of a week including management related games , group discussions on the current affairs, public speaking event, quiz and also few entertainment & cultural event.

Infrastructure is as par with other MBA colleges and when it comes to resources needed, Student Body Committee manage to arrange. The peer group and the activities we had inside the campus were very interesting and learning. In sports Badminton court and TT is inside the college arena. In my batch the ratio of male to female student was 6:4, which means almost 60% of the batch comprised of male student.

The exam structure is good. Their are 3 exams on one semester, like 2 exams conducted by college. They are called midterms and one exam conducted by university that's called as end semesters exams or called as universities exams. Above exams are only conducts in one semester in my college not any other exams are conducted.

Yes the fees structure is very expensive. The fess per year is 75000 that is seventy five thousand rupees very year. And that of per semester is 37500 in words thirty seven thousand five hundred per semester that is for six months only. It is very tough to pay this much of fees.

I took CET of SIMSR for its Part time MHRDM course along with CET of another institute, at first I could not clear test at Somaiya & got admission in another college, but fortunately in second year I got admission here as one of their student could not continue the course due to personal problems. This helped me to get-in where I wanted to be.

Faculties are approachable & best in their own field and very supportive. All of them are best & have caring attitude for students and are concerned about every students growth.

After the board exam, the Application notification released before the publish of 12th result. Then after applying using the cutoff which we got in 12th. The rank assigned by Anna university is released and the counselling date also. At the time of counselling, we have to choose the college according to the seat available at that instance.

I choose ECE (Electronics & Communication Engineering) which is the top one among all. The course duration is 4 yrs which contains 8 semester. The overall structure of the course is very good since it starts with the very basic level in 1st semester and ends with the research level i.e Project in the 8th semester.

Technical and cultural events are both held time to time. Freshers party, inter and intra college competition are held. Small training sessions and certificate programs were also held by various institutes int the college.

I gave the RPET examination. According to my rank I got this college in electronic branch. After giving RPET I had to fill a form giving my college choices, based on one rank the college is allocated to the person.

It was great to be a part of this institution leaving one instance when there was a fracas between management and students at the moment when management imposed a fine on all students having attendances below 75%,as all students in 3rd year were asking for two teachers of there subject not available to teach but they were saying that you didn't attend the college,students said that what is the use to come at college when we don't have a teacher for the subject,so it is better to study at home then coming at college.

Yes,exam process was stringent and regular. There were three mid term tests in a semester and a final exam of university...after taking classes and practical labs it was a very hectic day and no time to relax,we were having various labs,in 1st year there were tool making lab,basic electrical lab etc and in 3rd semester there were machine lab,power electronics lab and also many computer programming language laboratories.

First of all i went out for the advertisement process i sorted out this university from the rest of the other . So i went to the registration office and there i submitted some token amount to secure my admission in the university, i got a seat reserved in the university and then i went to see the college on a day. I saw the campus it was very huge and art of infrastructure was so great that every one would get astonished to see it.
