First of all i went out for the advertisement process i sorted out this university from the rest of the other . So i went to the registration office and there i submitted some token amount to secure my admission in the university, i got a seat reserved in the university and then i went to see the college on a day. I saw the campus it was very huge and art of infrastructure was so great that every one would get astonished to see it.

Exam structure are divided as usual in semesters. We have gone through so many class tests, assignments, mid term examinations, end tern examinations, viva, system test. Mid term consists of 50 marks in which half marks sent to the End term, End term consist full marks of 60 marks, 10 marks consists of class tests and assignments and attendance, and 15 marks consists of viva and system test.

KIIT faculties are very good, helpful and highly educated. If you have a doubt or you have to ask something then they will arrange a doubt class specially for you. You can ask many times if you not understood the topic. You can call/email him any time for clearing your doubts. Before examinations they will always arrange extra classes for revision all the topics and clearing all the doubts.

Well , in engineering gender ratio has huge contrast. In mech engineering there will be no or few women's compared to male counterparts. Can say around 50:1. But In IS or CS there will be more women's over men. So it cannot be taken as general .there are units for sports but you'll miss valuable classes . Same applies to extracurricular activities. Labs are available but not time to use.

Well engineering is filled with Exams . In a semester there are 6 theory finals and 2 lab finals + 24 college exams in total 48 exams in a year . ( minimum ). Which means one exam in within 7 days for a whole year .by that you might have a Idea about the the exams . It's quite exausting to write all that . No time to do so any other things

MET 2007, i have scored 89/200 i have not opt for this college and i have got this college in open counselling as i have not get my desired college and planing to appear in entrance again . But all of sudden i found in news paper that DAVIET is going to start MBA first time and i planed to join because of brand name.

Exam structure is good. Practicality part is much more influenced even Few faculty members doesn't touch during their teaching practice. But frequency of conducting exam hampers student more, because MBA needs overall development of student and while conducting exam. Students mostly busy in cramming.

All the faculty take good interest to teach their student to provide complete knowledge. They also arrange seminar for extra activity. College also invite Expert Lecturer for particular subject for proper understanding of particular subject. All the staff have minimum master degree with good base on their own courses.

College have good platform for student. Companies like Reliance, Assar, Linde , etc with good packages hired student. Other reputed colleges also placed M.tech student as a lecturer in their colleges. Until now B.Tech student had good experience with Placement and job opportunities.

The placement opportunities are very good in my college. The placements are still taking place for this year so right now I can't state the exact number. But around 75% of all students or almost 100% of the eligible ones get placed every year.Infosys, TCS ,Wipro,Cognizant and Accenture are the bulk recruiters, with salaries averaging at 3.5 lakh per annum. The course structure is exam oriented. We don't do much of research. Research is limited to the project that we do. But this is how the university has planned the structure of course.The course is good we get a lot of technical knowledge.The electives I took for my last semester were cloud computing and business intelligence. This semester I have opted for Information storage and retrieval and Internet of Things.

Course structure is good but is not upto the mark, something like some subjects which are not necessary were included and focus on the subjects is not in much detail which has to be improved, atleast though if we learn one subject less but whatever we learn should be in detail. Otherwise course outline is good which is similar to that of other universities.

Exam structure is continous assessment, that is we have 2 quiz for 15 marks, 1 mid semester for 30 marks and 1 end semester for 40 marks which is pretty good structure. Sometimes we do have a surprise quiz also. In this continous assessment system student has to go through what have been taught daily to get good grades.

seniors are the crux as usually i feel, strong belief they are the path finders lay a foundation stone and much impact in stress relieving, make things to understand and make to live us in reality, simply no senior no other generation of students. there is no control to compare there is no person to teach guide us in doubts all through out the day, helping during surgeries teaching technical tips, helping during exams etc.

There are so many events held every year. Dexterity is a yearly technical event held on starting the second term of the year. Apart from technical events there are many other events. Sports, Dance, Cultural, Social etc. Robo race, Hack if you can, Quiz related to respected branches. Students from other colleges also can participate in it.

The main thing of college is our placement records. Many of our college students got selected every year. I am from computer engineering that`s why i can surely say that college has best placement record in computer engineering branch. Accenture,IBM, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS and many more companies visited our college every year.

All staffs were very strict during examination hall. I like my college exam structure lab exams also very strict. We have to do something and shown output for them that was their need. Ii struggled a lot in laboratory exams. SREC recognizes the fact that the examination reforms and functions for assessing and ensuring the quality of technical education are the very basis of success of autonomy.

Scholarship was given by alumni department those who are more than 70%. SRECASS aims to encourage the economically needy and academically deserving students of various UG programmes of the institute to award Alumni Scholarships. This scheme supports second, third and final year students of the UG programme. Rs 2,00,000 can be utilized for scholarship from SREC Alumni Association account.

The course curriculum was set by Mumbai University. You cant say it was a very exhaustive course or the subjects which were selected were suitable for the course 100%. There was maths subject, which everyone hated. Then there was Marketing and Human Resource, now it is an important subject considering the modern day scenario, but the topics in that subject could have been much better.

Our college celebrated all the events and festivals. we had our own college festival "Kshitij in that we had various events planned for three days and a glamorous evening to end the festival. We had celebrities come over and the winners of the events were announced. Also we had the awards for the best college girl and boy awards. We also had other colleges come over and participate.

Campus life is a good experience. A very much balanced environment is created so that students can study peacefully. Sports are also a major part of this college. Our college conducted sports event to give interaction between colleges and many clubs are formed to conduct rallies, debates and many other competitions. Gender ratio is almost equal like their is no restrictions that girls should not talk to boys.

I got into the college in management quota. I visited the college very earlier to have a look of the infrastructure and courses offered. Seat has to be booked prior to 12th public exams by paying some amount as donation. After public exams rest of the payment is made to confirm the booked seat. Then they give us the admission form through which admission is done and initial college fees is to be paid.

The top companies in terms of brand name,job profiles and compensation offered are Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, Samsung, Microsoft, VISA, SAP, Oracle, Citi Bank, Barclays, Bank of America and many more. The Big 4 firms too visit VJTI for placements. The Indian IT companies and the 'mass recruiters' also sneak in but this time they came with a different profile and 'better' pay package(read around 6 lpa).

There are almost 40 theory subjects in 8 semesters and nearly 30 labs in first year all the branches have the same number of subjects. And from 2nd year actual branch wise subjects are there, from 3rd year electives are given,according to the preferences ,no of electives are given for the choice. In 4th year 8 credits are for project work and 4 labs and 5 theory subjects with one elective included in it.

All the faculty members are highly qualified and experienced they are always ready to solve the problem of students and are always energetic and ready to provide knowledge in brief to the students so that the have all the concept very clear which will be very helpful for a student to utilise that abandoned knowledge while working in a company.

The college is not good only is academic but on cultural activities and social events too every festival is being celebrated in the college and faculty member and students give their equal contributions in events and also there are various social activities like fun club, social awareness club, cultural club,movie club.

My branch is information technology. Information technology branch is now top branch nowdays. Because of digital india of PM narendra modi ji. Thats why in this branch there is much scope in research also . Information technology is now at its best. Last 5 years is very crucial for IT.but now it is one of the best branch among all the branches in engineering.

Faculty of the college is quite good not very good also . We can say average faculty in CS and IT department. But in Ec and mechanical department the faculty is good and supportive but in IT department the faculty members is not very supportive . They are rude just like uneducated faculty there behaviour is also not good.

Placements are really great. You can sit in the company of your choice. Every student is placed. Its all about patience and the right time. Packages are decent. Irrespective of the stream, you get good companies to sit for. Faculties have their connects to being in companies for placements. There are a lot of companies that give you a pre-placement offer also based on your performance.

Yes, the college provides an internship of 3 months. There are a lot of companies that come to campus. It takes a basic GD/PI round to get into company of your choice. You can have an internship based on your contacts as well. The process is really good, where a faculty comes to your company post you have spent a month in your company and takes a presentation to see your progress.

There were yearly college fests, called Kalanjali, and other inter college ones. Fashion shows, war of the rock bands, dance battles, singing competitions, and all that jazz. There were random street plays near the coffee shop from our famous theater group - GAP. Dance Flash mobs towards the last sem when that was the trend. We had loads of robotic events and workshops.

Placement is excellent and almost 100% like what they advertise. I got through 2 companies. Cognizant and Mindtree. (I chose Cognizant) There are tier one and two companies coming in to. Like Musigma, Alcatel , etc. Placements start from the 7th sem and the qualifying aggregate is 60% with a little leeway of 5% depending on the case.

No extra marks are given in internals which is a good thing as it forces you to study for externals :D Some of the faculty is very supporting and possess good knowledge of the subject they teach. Most interesting thing about the BVCOE is "The Librarian"who has very rude behavior and having lack of communication which is totally intractable. You'll never understand what they're trying to prove by unnecessary rules and regulations. Overall if you have multi option to save your best 4 years of college life than give BVCOE last priority. Beware!

EY, Opera Sol, Thought works, TCS, Nagarro, Posist, Amazon (pool placement), ZS Associates and a few more I don't remember. Indian army and Indian Navy also came for University Scheme but that's not a big deal. No core companies for ECE, EEE and ICE. At present we are around 25% to 30% placed (thanks to TCS) and this percentage will at maximum raise to 50% to 60%. Conclusion - Placements are degrading at BVCOE. It isn't as good as it was a few years back.

I just went directly as according to my interest. Very simple process that is filling the application form pay the admission fee for joining for the course and everything will be check by the administration only. No need to worry about all the things but after that they will conduct one test in that as according to the marks the perception will be done by the administration and they will make diversification as sections.

This is very efficient course to learn many things about new startup businesses or how to manage all the administration in the companies. In this course there is different streams are there as student wish they can select any stream that should by the students . There are many streams that is finance , marketing, human resource and some other etc.

We had an admission procedure first of online test. Then the marks were displayed on the college website. Depending on the merit list the seats were offered to students. Then, Dean of the college and respective faculty were at the podium and according to the merit list, the students were called to take admission. firstly, people with GATE scored were preferred then the students who cleared the online test were called out for admission.

I think the course structure is best for being a researcher. We have critical review of a research paper and seminar. The curriculum is very difficult though but is very interesting. It is dependent right to the core of the course that we have selected. Infact, they are in very advanced level. There are no practical kind of stuffs, but it is very good to study as well as very interesting. We have got scientist who teach us.
