I gave MAT (90 percentile) and CAT(75 percentile). I preferred this college as I heard a lot about this college from the alumni and checked the ratings too. The faculty of the college is well experienced too. The course structure is different than other colleges so I found it interesting. The college faculty is well experienced. The course is different from other colleges. The record of the college academics is very renowned. The brand name of IFIM is very prestigious.

The course structure is different than other colleges which appealed me. The exams are conducted twice a year which are conducted at the end of each semester. The exams are very interesting as sometimes the professors conduct open book examination too. Exams are conducted both internally as well as externally which are conducted by teachers. There are different reports which the students have to prepare under their internal assessments .

Best University for education & placements. Maritime education is an emerging, in trend and promising industry with a host of career opportunities for the graduates from the field. A career in Marine Engineering is tough because spending months on a ship can be tough and at the same time rewarding because you get a large salary right from the beginning. Apart from being right in the field of action, a marine engineer can work in ship building firms, research organizations, Indian Navy and engine building firms.

The college has been growing and improving in infrastructure, courses, faculty and other amenities. Overall average clean and college atmosphere is good to spend time. You have shops nearby and facilities needed for academics and daily needs. Its nothing great but good.

There is no issue in affiliation or certification of any course. No much enthusiasm on sports. That was one of the drawback.

IFIM is not just a college it is much more to me. A place where i learnt to speak in a group and excelled later on. Ragging is strictly banned in the college. Fresher’s are welcomed through an induction and orientation session. There is a brew of cross-culture. The gender ratio is 5:3. The campus life has a very positive environment. There is a very healthy environment. The students celebrate there diversity and respect each community.

There is not so good alumina network of IFIM. But it is continuously increasing. The present alumina group is named as MILAN. Every year there is a alumina meet where different leaders, entrepreneurs, academicians, artists and writers come and interact to different teachers and students. The arrangement is not so good. But year by year they are emphasising to increase the network.

The course curriculum is different from the rest of the colleges. There is a brew of finance, operations, marketing and HR for the electives options. They imparted both theoretical and practical knowledge . PGDM was a test of my attitude, aptitude and approach. The short-listed candidates that are required to appear for the selection process, which includes: - Essay Writing - Personal Interview. All candidates will be communicated through their registered email IDs only. Initially i appeared for a essay writing . After clearing it i appeared for a personal interview and got selected.

I availed the loan facility But my point of view is about return on investment. The course fees of PGDM is near about 15 Lacs which is not affordable for normal people like us. Someone can say you will get placed after the course. True. But what will be your package? Maximum 5 lac. So think about it you are spending 3 times more than you are actually getting. Yes, of course the college has great infrastructure. But do you really think that it worth it? You have to take loan for this and the interest rate is near about 11.5%. So calculate how much time it would take to repay your loan.

The college management is keen for placing its students. It has a cell naming Training & Placement Cell with a Training & Placement Officer whose work is to invite companies for placements. A no of companies visited in our campus like WIPRO, HCL, RAMBOLL, Ucertify, etc. Also, college has registered all its students in paid portal for placement via which students can join pool campus placements at other colleges.

There are a number of events conducted in the college. The first event is Freshers Welcome Party. Then Teacher's Day, Annual sports week, Annual Tech Fest, Farewell Party, Alumni Meet etc are to name a few. The best event out of these is the Tech Fest. As we are engineering students so it is an event in which we can explore our engineering skills to do some innovation or to give an edge to our existing skills.

The name of the alumni meet is MILAN. It is held every year. IFIM Bangalore has produced leaders, entrepreneurs, academicians, artists and writers. Our Alumni have made proud time and again by achieving laurels round the globe and we wish to showcase the same to our entire family. Immense dedication, devotion to the subject area and the passion to perform has enabled older students to scale to higher positions.

IFIM Bangalore is a Very good and decent college where you can learn a lot. Faculty are very friendly. It has helped me a lot to stand out from the rest of the students. I am very Proud to be a student of IFIM and I strongly recommend to join . the faculty is very experienced. They emphasize on both practical as well theoretical knowledge.

The campus life of my college is amazing and very cheerful. Students from all over India comes and study here. There is a blend of cross culture. There is a diversity of cultures in the college. There is a mixture of both the sexes in the campus. Gender ratio is 5:2(Male:female). There is a balance between different communities . the college environment is very healthy and positive.

IFIM Bangalore provides scholarship for for academics and sports and students can avail them. Scholarships reduces the fee amount by a certain percentage . the scholarship is provided for meritorious students .The loan ranges according to the course and the requirement of the student. There are rules and regulation for the same. The loan can be paid in instalments .

What I would really miss about college is its huge library where you can find thousands of books and it is open round the clock. There are three cafeterias in campus-out of which my favorite was (of course everyone else too) canteen of Mechanical Department because of its nominal rates, adequate quantity and quality of food.

Only Computer science and IT students are placed at higher salaries than other streams. Their average package is around 6-7 lakhs p.a. Those in core streams like me can expect an average offer.Some of the recruiters are Microsoft, Google, IBM, Accenture, TCS, Wipro etc

The fees was Rs 9.75 lakhs for the two year course. It includes course fee, books and other facilities. Apart from this it includes the students are also liable to pay the fee of hostel facilities and uniform too. The fee structure is not so feasible as everyone can not afford it . but there are many scholarships that are available for students who can avails them. Also, the college provides students with students loan which helps them to take admission in prestigious institute

The college emphasis on many co-curricular activities . There are many events which are held on the regular basis to understand a better approach of management. IFIM conduct a national level fest named NAMAN every year which is completely student driven from getting sponsors to organizing events, inviting colleges and conducting cultural events too. All the students of the college participate in this events and this helps them to upgrade their skills.

I expected good placements from the college. Some good companies like Microsoft, Google do visit but they pick handful of some lucky chaps. Whenever I decided to hangout near the college the long endless roads forced me to change my decision and stay in the college.

Campus is good with lot of open areas, mind refreshing gardens. Sports facilities are available and the classes and labs are fully Wi-Fi enabled. Crowd is good and enthusiastic and most of them are from Delhi.

They imparted both theoretical and practical knowledge . it is a very flexible system favoring students for their betterment .

Yes, our college does provide pretty good number of internship opportunities, with our placement officer being an active person in this perspective. As from my knowledge there is no stipend given during the internship period here, but if the opportunity availed is through somebody's reference then a fair amount of stipend would be provided to the students but nothing Glamorous about it.

Course structure for civil is easy, and you wouldn't have to break your head clearing the subjects. First semester is good enough to get acquainted with the course details as well as with other curricular attached with the course. But, taking electives into concern, they were fairly better than the average compared to the electives offered at other premier colleges.

Although the college is among the top colleges of IP university but I found it average college. Let me tell you something which is very weird that the college has two shifts morning shift is fine but evening shift is no less then hell. Although I studied in the morning shift so I dint faced as such problems. One of my mates got suspended just because he was sitting in the ground in lecture hours of the evening shift, sounds pathetic it.

Attendance is a bit of problem in the college so I had to maintain my attendance in all the semesters.

So, you can only give a thought to this college if you have bagged the seat in computer science and IT else sit back and try hard for a good one.What will surely going to impress you is the maintenance of campus and most importantly it is wi-fi enabled (at least it did me). It also has auditorium, badminton court, cafeteria, ground etc. But these are not fully used by college. Not such a lively and great atmosphere in campus as there were no active clubs. Crowd was pretty much fine. Most of the students were from management quota. Make a call at reception and settle for an amount to get admission- that what I heard from my batch mates. Thus great sense of boredom will move in your nerves if you are considering college because there are no good places to hangout also.

Placements i have nothing good to talk about placement also. Even though I was from CS stream, still offered package was not above or equal to expected one and what college brag about. Maximum package is around 3.2 lakhs by most of the recruiters like Infosys, Accenture etc.

Almost all my batch mates were from Delhi therefore adding to the already existing energetic crowd. A slight trend of Show off was there among the most of the batch mates whom I never liked to talk to. Labs are too small to work and is not well equipped due to which we were not able to do many practical most of the time although chemistry lab was big and well equipped but we never used it after first year.

Attendance is not an issue as I had a very low attendance less than 40% in most of the semester but still I was allowed to give my exams after few warnings.

The Placement & Career Guidance Cell provides special Career Counselling. Any student can contact the Career Guidance Cell to discuss about their field of interest and analize the possible career prospects. This enables the student in developing his/her career plan. The Placement Cell keeps in constant touch with Industry and other R&D organisations for student projects also.

The faculty In our college is too good they teach us very politely and students are able to understand it very much that's why lots of students are choosing our college. The faculty are friendly with students and they help them in all the ways they encourage them in various research programmes.

College celebrates the following events at large scale. Annual Day and events - A college festival with a lot of creative and technical competition held over a period of a week which helps the students to showcase their leadership and technical skills.Engineers Day - A small event is held within the dept. Teachers Day - A small event is held to facilitate the teachers. Independence Day & Republic Day.

The admission process was chiefly via Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Once the diploma results are declared, students have to purchase a docket from Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) and follow the process. They have to give their preference of 30 colleges across maharashtra, first being the most preferred and the last being the least preferred.

In terms of punctuality, every faculty member is very punctual. For 80 % of the faculty members you will find their lectures boring and will skip their lectures. this is the scenario for every college in India including IITs. The rest 20% are good and you can learn a lot from them. The level of paper will be good. If you are scoring 50-60% marks in Physics then you are topper of the subject. The average will be around 30-35% marks.

Campus life is awesome and that is the best part of college. All types of indoor/outdoor sports facilities are available inside the campus. You can join drama, photography, book reviewing, debating, robotics, wall street, fashion, mime, dance, mountaineering, automative, humanoid and creative activity club depending upon you interest. Apart from these clubs there are regional associations representing each state of India.

There are many events celebrate in oriental institute of science and technology bhopal. In our college main event is technical festival it is a three days programme the festival is celebrate 3 days different competitions and different games are organised in this festival DJ night is also there.

Yes the college fees is little more oriental institute of science and technology fee structure is 78 thousands tuition fee annually and 39 thousands per sem fees tuition fee and bus is cumpulsary for all students and bus fees is 12000 annually and for hostel students there is no bus fees.
