Well, the major player in placements is TCS. I didn't opt for TCS because it is an IT company. I am from a core department and according to me that's not my place to be. If one is in IT or Computer Science departments then all the companies that come are suitable for them. For Electrical & Electronics there were literally no core companies that came to provide job opportunities.

One semester has two quizzes per subject, two sessionals per subject, two practical exams for whichever subject needs one and finally the main semester exam. The quizzes were easy and light. The sessionals turned us into corpses. If we had 6 subjects in a semester, then the sessionals used to take place in 3 days. Meaning 2 subjects per day.

Well it is fine here to take it CSE and mechanical stream here. Our faculties are very good and they are friendly to us even the are always available for us during college time and even some of the closing day. They have friendly nature with students. And students also likes them and become friendly and they asks questions and they shares their problems to teachers.

I had counselling over WBJEE after qualifying it and was selected for techno India BANIPUR and I reached here then I was taken to ceo's chamber where I had a verification process and finally I had given admission form for the admission. Then I filled the form and submitted to CEO and then I got admission.

I got admission in JDIET via CAP round. After the declaration of the CET result CAP rounds starts. In cap round 1, I filled the online option form and submitted it at the respective authorized centre followed by document verification. As I was so sure about taking admission in JDIET, I gave it the 1st preference in the option form. After a week or so, the result of CAP round 1 were declared and I got JDIET.

If you're asking how many students were placed, i would say a lot. But if you're asking how many are satisfied/joined the company, i would say a handful. Placement department is trying it's best to bring as many companies as it could, but it is not bringing the company which every engineer dreams to work for. What I want to say is, the number of companies doesn't matter if they are not good.

50000 per year its not that expensive for M.tech as you get stipend. For B.tech its 70000 which might not be affordable for every one. FOR M.tech student one can pay 25000 per semester with hostel fees 10000. So one has to 35000 per semester. This is regarding hostel and semester fees. For B.tech semester fees are 50000 which is including hostel fees. So for a semester you need to pay just 50000 .

It was chilled out as sometime open book exams were there and sometime just objective kind of of more than 1 hour. There is not fixed exam structure followed by any faculty in DA-IICT. Each Faculty conduct exam accordingly. And students are graded by respective Faculty. DA-IICT follows a choice based semester system (CBSS). Students are awarded letter grades on a 10-point scale (SPI/CPI).

There were 3 rounds of college allocation among which we have to list our college preference and college were allocated as per ranks. In 3rd round i got this college. There were 2 kinds of admission fees and then the college fees. The admission procedure also consist of depositing necessary documents.

Campus life was good, enjoyable, memorable, friends, life all was just amazing, after graduation it's next step to explore the world with new friends at different level. being a co-ed college the ratio seems equal. And, yes events, workshops were conducted in a proper formal way in order to increase one's own personality.

Fee structure was somewhere quite expensive, as it comes under the less of government authority. Guru govind singh indraprastha university charges a lot of money but gives the good system of facilities. For some it not might be easy to took admission in one of these colleges which comes under this university.

My college life is so nice there are are many Friends of me. All are very helpful nature. And we are organised many hostel parties in the birthday of all all of my friends. And all functions are celebrate with all friends. There are all religious friends like Hindu, Muslims, Sikh etc. The gender ratio in my college is approximately equal.

All alumni are connected by WhatsApp groups. We organised get together once a year.Our seniors and juniors are connected with others via whatsapp, Facebook, and Google talk. We frequently meet with our colleagues in conferences, CMEs, and workshops. Our alumni meet organised with the families of our colleges.

Its really good and the cutting edge research is going on in the department. The overall course is divided into two semester and rest two semester is reserved for research and thesis work means first two semesters with examination and rest two just for dissertation and Viva. The subjects are based on credit system, which makes interesting the overall course because the high credit subjects make high impact on CPI/CGPI.

In PG there are four semesters in which two semesters like daily class and practical and end of the semester you have to appear for exam. another two semesters there is no class no exam, you only go for your research work and thesis work at the end of the semester you have to face dissertation or open viva session. So overall is neither hectic nor chilled out.

At vjti we have a 60-30-10 pattern. 10 marks are internal and totally in hands of the teacher. Two in-semester exams of 30 mks each are held and they are then averaged to 30 marks. The final paper is of 100 mks which is further converted to 60 mks. Finally all these mks are converted to grade and a relative pointer is given.

The administration here especially good. For admission one needs to simply get a seat from DTE , which is usually allocated on merit. After one gets a seat in VJTI the rest is quiet simple. One then need to fill the admission form and hostel form if applicable and submit it in the office.

As far as the autonomous college is concerned , The college has a good curriculum as well as the exam structure. As though the college is an autonomous it is very good in everything. We have a lot of opportunity of studies as well as co-curricular activities.

Yes, the college provides a very good opportunities regards the internships. There are even internship and part time opportunities inside the campus related to international process and the stipend ranges from 4000 to even 8000 and 10000 per month.

The gender ratio is balanced. There is no such thing as gender discrimination in our college. Every body gets equal opportunities. We have workshops but that is not a very regular event. Discrimination in general is very much discouraged in our college. We tend to be one big happy family. No one shuns another person on grounds of sex, ethnicity, religion, politics. Every body respects everyone's view.

I took the WBJEE exam and secured a rank of around 15000. I am from Don Bosco and i had a few seniors in this college. When i asked them about it, they said that it was one of the very best colleges. And the teachers are very enthusiastic and encouraging. Apart from that the labs are well developed and the college community is also very friendly and promotes growth. Hence i opted for this college.

College is equipped with experienced staff having practical knowledge and hands on experience of subjects. Regular class room lectures coupled with practicals and exams give an edge to students to learn effectively. Apart from regular teaching, college organised lectures by external faculties to share latest trends with students.

College faculties are very good and helpful.With rich subject knowledge, staff always imparted absolute clarity on basics and helped students understand concepts. Faculties are mostly people having industrial experience which enables them to teach theoretical concepts and relate to practical applications of these concepts.

Every candidate has to go through one common entrance exam UPSEE, and then according to your performance and category you Will be assigned with a rank . Now based on your choices that you provide in your counselling you will be allocated with a street in a college which is based on availability of seats in given collage. You can also change your street after two semesters.

Campus life is awesome we can do whatever you what to do, yes you have every exposure and faculty support you in every field ,just to mention we organize every event ourself and all are quite successful. We have our annual fest "spandan" along with annual sports fest "matree" and annual fate . Apart from this every department organize their own events at college level.

The gender ratio is more like 60% to 40%, respectively boys and girls were we had students from diverse culture and ethnic groups so the it was cross cultural environment which helps to learn about various parts of country. We had an excellent sports facility and sports gears where we are provided with grounds for cricket, volley ball, basket ball, football, shuttle court, tennis court, table tennis, chess, and Carrom board as well.

Most of the professor's who handled the technical courses were Phd holders in their domain where they had sound knowledge and exposure to the latest trends and technologies. We used to have symposium and other cross cultural tech seminars where other professional from industry will give training to internal faculty about technical innovation on the course material which in turn helps the students in their curriculum.

My fees is 2 lakhs each year. This is the tuition fees. As this is a private college, fee structure is expensive. The fees is even high if you take admission in management quota. The fees in management quota is 3 lakhs each year. The hostel fees vary according to the type of hostel you choose. The hostel fee for normal hostel is approximately 1 lakh. This includes accommodation, mess fee and laundry.

The course in the first year is same for all branches which is the case in almost every college. In second year, there were the core subjects, Mathematics and a foreign language. I chose Japanese as my foreign language. In the third year, there were the core subjects and Mathematics. Apart from the subjects that I mentioned above there was Personality Development course in the first and second year.

It is a not so good and not so bad kind of situation. Average 50% of students gets placed and most of them are recruited in the IT sector. Well, some companies also recruit for their sales and service. Students arrange their own internships however one summer training is provided by the college for one month. Some companies which visit our campus are TCS, Tech Mahindra, Mahindra and Mahindra, Bosch etc.

Our college faculties are very helpful. Some of them also have published their own research paper. We follow the course curriculum provided by MAKAUT and the faculties don't face any difficulties in teaching them. Modern teaching methods of ppt and animations are used when required. Some faculties also take out of industrial exposure. The course curriculum is standard.

The course is fabulous in its kind itself. College have separate library section for each subject. The laboratory for each subject is accessible and well classified. Computer Laboratory contains enough computer with Linux and windows operating systems and projectors. Physics laboratory is also good with all required facilities and instruments along with library and manuals.

Faculties are fully qualified and up to mark trained. Each department have more than six professors and assistant professors and at least three attendants. Professors are distributed by Units to be taught and their respective abilities and specialisation. Faculties have good command in teaching in English.

Some teacher are very good and some are average .Overall we can say its good. Faculty was good and standards were also fine.But all were not the same .Some subject teachers were excellent some were average and some are like why they choose teaching profession. But being a alumina I can say if u are not getting admission in vesit ,Sardar patel or thadomal then u can try this college.

I got selected on basis of percentage .And I choose EXTC branch to pursue my engineering. Through Cap rounds I got a selection .Its was already decided to do EXTC as I was from diploma I need to do this only .I can choose electronics that time but find college interesting for EXTC so choose it.Admission process was simple but its was one day process.

The course subjects which everyone gets during their first year is same , but it changes as semesters come , the subjects of first year are easy and include basic Curriculum. The Course centric subjects start from second year and the electives start from third year, some of the important electives of Automobile Engineering are Automotive Pollution Control, Finite Element analysis, Air Conditioning and refrigeration, Automotive Chassis and Transmissions.

The main attractions of this college for more admissions and marketing's for film shooting etc is campus look which is the mistake which I made then by choosing this college assuming that this college provides good Placement facilities. The Achraya Campus is Ragging proof and there is no gender discrimination, racism, sexual Harassment etc in this campus.
