In terms of punctuality, every faculty member is very punctual. For 80 % of the faculty members you will find their lectures boring and will skip their lectures. this is the scenario for every college in India including IITs. The rest 20% are good and you can learn a lot from them. The level of paper will be good. If you are scoring 50-60% marks in Physics then you are topper of the subject. The average will be around 30-35% marks.

We will get ranks in the KLUEEE exam. According to the rank, there will be the counselling procedure. Based on the ranks we can choose the available seats from different groups. We can see the availability of the seats in different branches on the Live telecast. Unless we get better ranks we cannot expect seats for ECE and EEE.

Each semester we have 2 internal tests and one external test for 6 subjects. At least we have 2/3 labs per semester and they are in schedule for 2 days a week. I say it as a balanced schedule. Marks are taken very serious and even there is a limit for the external test to qualify in that particular exam.

I chose Electrical and Electronics stream. Starting from basics the course was good and also to the point. We had a total off 48 subjects and also we had internships. I chose electrical and electronics which comprised subjects of both streams of electrical and electronics. We also had internships in rd year and 4th year. Also we had to make projects and make them on circuit boards.

Its feasible as compare to other IIIT and NIT and IIT. This year 1st semester i pay only 49000 thousand and rest for coming semester i have to pay only 45000. So if you compare the fee structure of other college you found that it is feasible and affordable for every one.and if even any one wants to take loan then college provide it.

Faculty is highly trained and know how to dell with todays student. Every faculty is of rehonoured degree which is required for a good engineering college. Mostly the faculty of IT is best which is very necessary for computer science student. I assured you that you never board with the faculty of this college like other college.

The exam structure is as per UGC norms. It was as chilled out as anything could be. We had enough study leave to prepare, an extensive library and teachers were always there to help us out if we needed them. Though Jai Hind is popular for tough papers, I'd say, it is good to have tough papers. It worked for us in the longer run. or rather for me, personally.

On a large part the faculty is good. They are quite open and receiving and do not bring their conservative attitudes to the class. They do not make our decisions for us and never interfere in our personal lives. There are absolutely no impositions. The teachers are extremely well versed with their subject and heavily experienced.

There was a national level college fest named kshitij and also each individual management course had there own fest which was at a very big scale with proper professional management by students. Itself with good sponsors and reputed events it also held good price money and good playful events with many celebrity guest.

Exam structure was half yearly structure with 6 semesters in 3 years all semesters are individual status and hold equal importance in final grade after 3 years and we have grading system so after every exam result we use to get grade and GPA which at the end used to calculate CGPA.

Course structure is quite up to the point which will help the candidate to score well and achieve some essential knowledge about the subject. Which also includes few practical subjects helps in enhancing the field knowledge of the subject as knowledge is what the motive of taking the admission.

The faculty of MCA is great i can not say about any other course. But MCA faculty is really great and hard working the really want their children to grab some knowledge and score well in exams so that they can achieve some got package with a good job profile.

There is minority scholarship which is given. By college there is no such scholarship but college ensures that if you are applying any scholarship outside the college then you get it if you are eligible. Like OBC and other scholarships like merit scholarships.

The faculties over there are very supportive. My HOD of ECE was very nice to all the students. There are some part time faculties also which is manged by college itself. The course curriculum is very good.

The structure of my course is very good. The subjects are very interesting. There are 6 semesters which are divided into 3 years. Each semester has 4-7 subjects. The subjects are related to human resources, marketing, finance, data base management, html, MIS, quantitative techniques etc. These subjects give you a good knowledge about the way a company runs and what backend process is about creating your own firm.

The ratio of girls to boys is generally 4:6 . The students are mostly Delhi, or restricted to being north Indian students. The campus life as fun as you make it like any other college. The college environment is very secure and has zero tolerance level against any kind of misbehaviour. There is no kind of politics. Discrimination or ragging that takes place. The economic status of the students is mixed.

The fee structure is little bit expensive which is manageable. It provides all facilities like a well infrastructure buildings for classes, Hostels, Indoor & outdoor sports, Gym, buses, library in every department & a big common library as well, Mess, books, good speed of Wi-Fi, dedicated laptop. Indoor sports in every hostels and in indoor stadiums as well which are dedicated to each department.

In 4yrs of B.Tech life we were provided a good laptop with 24hr of wi-fi facilities. Good books with extra study materials were also provided by our faculties. KIIT always focuses on both practical & book study. It also divides all the courses into 8 semesters in a proper manner. So that there are some interlink to the courses studied in previous semester.

Campus is huge, beautiful and well maintained added by the mind refreshing view of lawns. I was disappointed by the condition of laboratories because it did not have upgraded equipment as they did not work properly sometimes. Library was very spacious and had a large stock of books so I always relied on it to get any sort of book. The crowd was passionate, goal-oriented and enthusiastic. Programming labs were always a problem as our marks entirely depended on our performance in the.

It was good academically and the faculty was too good. I was lucky to be a part of first class taught by Dr. Madhan Karky and I interacted with him regarding my project, his clarity of communication and importance that he gave to teacher-student relation.

Infrastructure and Location Institute excels on infrastructure front, whether you talk about its state-of-art buildings, air conditioned library or well equipped labs, hostels etc. Everything will draw your attention. Moreover it is coupled with beautiful location of Manipal which will be a treat to your eyes. Being a North-Indian, I never thought I will be able to adjust in that place but it works wonder for me as I really enjoyed there and never felt like running to home. Campus and Social life. There are so many places to hang around. Well, atmosphere of campus is so lively that you will not feel much need to go out- all thanks to its fests and crowd by which I was completely amazed. Crowd was a nice blend of different traits of people from all economic strata- some rich spoil brats to woo you, party goers, some will give you tough competition in academics and some nerds to blow your mind.

Obviously college cannot be compared to IITs, NITs etc both in academics and placements. Top recruiters like Microsoft, Google visit the campus with lucrative offers but not everyone is able to bag it.

One interesting thing that I noticed is that, the crowd is multi-cultured because they are from different parts of the country. When I was a fresher I faced problem due to ragging but now it has been declared as an offence in the college.

Placement record of this college was the only reason I joined. Placements have improved since the past two years. Many IT companies are visiting this college and I am looking forward to get placed in a reputed company.

The fee structure is expensive as compared to other college as it is a private university. For me, I pay 75000 per semester and it turns out to be 6 lakhs for the whole degree which I think is a bit expensive for an middle class family in india but the fee is worth because of the placements opportunities they have to offer to their students.

Yes, Chitkara University is only famous for its placement opportunities. They have a 100% placement goal which is actually true by the fact that the students which don't get actually jobs are placed within chitkara only. But most of the students are placed in well multinational companies and they offer an average of 4-5 lakh package (P.A).

Infrastructure and Faculty huge campus with beautiful lawns, college infrastructure is good enough with no air-conditioned rooms. For me, cafeteria was not up to the mark- though it was cheap but it never provided non-veg. Crowd and campus life It was quite cool and chilled out except some snobs. Nearby, there is Satya-niketan which is a hub of eateries, gym, PG etc. You can find all kind of eating joints here suiting your pocket- some of these are Keventers (mine favourite), Chowringhee , CCD, Barista, Big Yellow Door etc

Extra-curricular activities there are many societies out of which western dance society i.e. Verve is the best (this I can assure you as I was a part of it). College provides enough opportunities to show your talent but some admin members with their weird attitude will not give you rooms to practice and organize events yes you heard it right. College is famous for its fests like cultural fest (Nexus) , economic fest (Bliss point) believe me it’s amazing and students from even north campus come here.
