The course is well structured. Other than academics based entirely on books and theory, the college emphasizes on practical experience. We have been exposed to professional fields. We've also had interactive sessions with Industry Professionals and we also discussed topics related to the course with them. Overall, the course is well structured and focuses on all fields.

The fee structure is reasonable compared to other colleges. B.Tech (Computer Science) fee is around 1.6 Lakhs per year. Students can also opt to pay the fee Semester wise. Other than that, Hostel Fees range from Rs.80000 a year to Rs.135000 a year. Food is included in the hotel fee. Library Fee and other necessary fee are also included.

I have well educated and well trained faculty members all faculty members are very good in behaviour. All faculty members teaches very well and he give all practical knowledge for exam and all types of interviews so I love my all faculty members all faculty members are my idols they are important for me.

Excellent staff n all faculty member's. Every one of them has good knowledge about the core subjects important in civil engineering. The faculty members care for betterment of each of student. They have personal attention to each student. There is quite good bonding between every student so that make both student n teacher easy to understand better.

Quite good opportunities. But they are not upto mark so college must try to improve their efforts. College should try to create a good environment for all companies so as to provide good quality jobs to enhance their future and that to companies with good packages so that students should be interested to work.

About events there is lot . We have one inter college celebration called peace . Its very interesting in that event we have both technical and cultural celebration. Each department has to nominate few peoples yo get enrolled there will be some conditions which they had to satisfied. And every department symposium will be conducted every year where students has to submit their papers.

All the exams are same as per other college. Its like we can get monthly unit tests. And three times internal test. Which is considered for internal marks. And there is one final semester. Before final semester there will be a model exam for both theory and labs. We have every week lab classes once in while we were tested by outside panel members in the lab.

Exams in this college are very frequent and level of these exams are moderate. As per the Savitribai Phule Pune University 2 online exams are conducted and 1 written exam is conducted. Also college conducts 2 unit tests and one preliminary examination before the University exams.

Placements are very good in PICT, due alumni who where placed in company have work very well there. Many famous company's come to college for placements like Google, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley , NVIDIA, Rakutan etc offering from 8 to 30 lac per annum.

I got selected through Odisha JEE -2013 and i secured rank-75. Now through JEE-MAIN Vssut is selecting students. On the basis of ranks i got selected in Vssut. Its campus surrounded by the hills and the mighty Hirakud dam made me enthusiastic to take admission over here. The lab facilities are very advanced and here is a great involvement of teachers to sharpen the skills of the students.

During the career 8 exams we need to appeared . The semester consist of 6 months duration. During 4 years career . Back logs exams can be given along with the semester exams. Lab exams must be given to be promoted for the next semester. Actually during the exams for all the day is hectic. After the exams are over all relaxed and chilled out.

Feasible one for service which provided by college management. College fee 48000 per semester, placement fee 10000 per year, student insurance 500 per year, exam fee 4000 per year, Totally 110500 per year. Compared to others surrounding college fee is too high and it meets quality.

Three internal exams every exam covers 1.5 units respective subject. Model lab exam and main lab exam conducted before semester. There is no model exam for PG students before semester. Unwanted exam which irritates student before semester is not followed in college.

Its a govt marine college. Fee structure is 1.25 lakhs per year though its expensive yet its the least one in india. Private college 3.25 lakhs per year Its feasible for us as loan is also given and scholarship is also arranged by college. So i think college with this course should take this much fees.

Exams are quite strict here.labs are in fine condition, workshop is good. There are many labs such as electrical lab, mechanical lab ,electronics lab,computer lab, workshop where we do general duties,we have fluid mechanics lab,exam is properly done here with strict invigilating.

When I was studying there all the curriculum are shared as hard copy while starting each semesters. They also suggest us the text book which we can follow for the semester. We in person has to purchase and use the same. The course structure was very good and useful now a days in my carrier.

In our college we have separate placement consultant they help all the students to get their job. They Train all the students and provide material also. Almost all major companies are came when I was studied there. Almost 95% of students got placed at that time.

The college takes 20% student by AIEEE having all india quota while reat 80% by MP PET. I scored 353/500 in MP PET and secured 3300 state rank which was not enough to get EC branch but since my father was in Indian Army so I got EC in JEC using Sainik quota where my state rank was 37 and we had 2 reserve seats for Army wards. The General category closing rank for EC was around 1000. Now a days college has started taking students by IIT JEE.

The course curriculum is excellent in nature as being an autonomous college it provides an independent schedule and mechanism for conducting and evaluating exams. The Laboratories are very well equipped as this is only the second college in India alongside IIT kharagpur to have actual Babcock willcox boiler.

In this college faculty member are good in terms of experience. All are have more than five years of experience in this particular papers. I don't know other courses I only display my course like information technology. His experience is very useful to have knowledge to me.

This college located nearby by native. I went with discuss them about courses like bachelor of technology and I would select this course in counselling. And also my senior has told something about this course and at the time of joining this is top course in industry.

Placement cell is very poor. Students committees sometimes arrange campusing on their own. College authorities are very helpful lack the pro-activeness. Some companies came and picked few students and offered about 2.0 lakhs package. Some off-campus recruitment was arranged by the teachers which had higher packages of around 3-3.5 and even 5-7 lakhs INR p.a packages.

M:F Gender ratio is around 55:45 in Department of Geology. But in many department the M:F ratio is 40:60 and even 20:80. There are a number of cultural societies and clubs. The university and its culture is very much tolerant towards all ethnicity and race/ religions. Many students come from backward classes, ST/SC and minorities.

Course structure is as per the standards of UGC and gets conducted by GGSIPU. During the first year, one has to study all the generic subjects hence the course is same for each and every First year student in the university. Specialisation starts from second year and later on we get a chance for industry visits in summer training to increase our knowledge within our stream.

Tech and College fest GATES is the highlight. The dramatic society of GTBIT is famous not only in GGSIPU but in DU and other universities as well. People from different colleges come to participate in the fest. Funding is given from college and sponsors. This gives chance to students to manage events which is quite useful.

Fees structure goes down every year because, the number of students goes from 3000-2000-1000-500 when I passed out. Happy to see that someone understand what's happening to us. The management never did anything to change this, and after all they started 2 branches civil and mechanical with no lab facility, by stopping IT branch which already have labs.

The only memories we have the birthdays, holy festivals, fights, strikes, and sports organised by us, arts too. One tech fest also. Eventually it's organised by students, but actually the students are from nearby. They do go home daily, so it's a less opportunity to discuss much, and also less participation.

The placement starts usually after August in every department of campus. For engineering mostly IT companies such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS, CTS will be recruiting students in large numbers and pay will be in range of 4-5 lakhs per annum. When it comes to MBA companies mostly come for Marketing and Finance such as Mondelez foods, Delloite, RBS bank, E &Y etc and their pay scale will be of 5-6 lakhs per annum.

When it comes to course curriculum it is evenly divided into theory and practical sessions. For theory related papers the practical session will be of case discussion which is the important part of curriculum. The curriculum is so advanced such that research work can be done in any part of elective. My elective is Operations and Marketing, i did Market analysis of many products during my 2nd semester.

Exams are always fun. But they were more frequent. We have internal assessments and external assessments in order to evaluate the performance individually. So we had internal assessments frequently and had to write exams for 9 subjects and had computer lab classes where we get to learn more about excel and its applications and enterprise resource planning softwares.

We had many fests at college like spandan college annual fest, spardha annual sports fest, dj nights debate competition and inter college sports competition and indoor games fest. Cricket and volleyball competition are held in every 3 months. Technical games lan gaming is the best part where students compete with each other in Mine craft.

We used to celebrate various technical, cultural events. it included Tech Fests, Paper Presentation competitions, annual college fests, Robotics exhibitions, Sports Events. We had sports team for college and used travel and participate in various national and international level competitions. Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology students have accolades in various competitions globally.

Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET) has one of most qualified faculty and staff. Every staff is as per UGC guidelines and most of the staff holds doctorate degrees. Faculty includes world renowned professors in many fields, Nano Technology, Process Engineering, Fluid Dynamics are few to name. Faculty is extremely approachable and are always ready to help the student.

We had all sorts of events organised. The most important is the yearly cultural festival - Alcheringa, in which people around the world gather to participate in programs that suit their skills. We used to actively volunteer and participate in those events. The annual techincal fest - Techniche is the annual techno-management festival, having events ranging from robotics to corporate modules.

It is divided in four semesters. First two are course related. The last two are project based. It helped me evolve my skills in both independent and team work scenarios. Exam structure is very simple. Every semester take exam and 70 mark university exam and 30 mark exam take by college and 2 mid sem exam take by college best out of 2 mark are send to university. If 1st mid sem exam i scored 25/30 and 2nd mid sem exam i scored 28/30 than college send 28 mark to university and when university final exam which are 70 mark and i take 55 so total is 83 is my subject total and my grad is AA.

University strives to keep a good gender ratio in all the schools. Students form every state can be found in the campus except for a few union territories, infact there are more students from other states than from Gujarat in School of Life Sciences and other schools.
