Yes, for the name sake the college does provide internship. The college is unable to get good companies for internship 70% students choose internship from college. But no one gets any stipend. The companies just provide them the certificate 10% students does arrange a certificate from their contacts and submit it to the college, Hence no internship 19% students are being provided certificate from the professors. Because the visiting faculty have some sort of business. So what they do is that they take a 2 hr weekly class in college itself and provide a certificate for the training. This is shameful, but its true 1% students who have money can opt for foreign internship. But its quite expensive in 1.5 to 2 lacs range. But you do not learn any thing, Its just like a holiday trip for the rich brats.

Campus life depends on what is you motive. if you want to enjoy, you can do it with everyone's permission. But if some one wants to make career, get ready for lots of hurdles. You can see professors smoking with students in the parking. That describes how the campus life can be. Gender ratio is quite low. In my batch there was less than 25% girls. Workshops are jokes. I even laugh at it after 2 years. They organize workshop in which students gather and clear the parking and other areas as their are Cigarette filters, Pan Masala pouches and Beer bottles lying and stinking in the area. Students are not of very diverse background. 50% are local students and rest are of nearby states with almost similar cultural background.

I am not aware of any such loan facility that is linked with the college but every year scholarship is given to the students on the marks and % basis Upto 75% marks Rs 25000 is given and above that same amount is given as the percentage ex-on 76% amount given Rs 76000 on 80% Amount given Rs 80000.

For the course I opted course structure was good and simple as all the subjects were given time equally and no subject was as such that it was hard or not able to understand. Each semester has 7 subjects in all. And 75% attendance is must in each semester for appearing in exam.

My campus life started in 2013 when i took my first step in college and it changed my life all over my new friends and college teachers help me in every aspect of life the girls and boys in college are equally treated and one gets punishment if any mistake is done the girls and boys ratio is almost same the college provides on every Saturday a extra curricular activity and games for enhancing college students and knowing there hidden talent.

The college teachers are always there for students they always teach the students in a well precised way and very accurate that each any every student can easily understand the topic without any problems they even perform the practicals and show the ppts and videos for the difficult topic to make the studies more interesting and fub.

Our college is mainly know by the festivals and cultural events annually all the fests are conducted like separate branch fests. Even the College anual day, traditional day and mainly sisiny which the main fest which Is famous through out the city. Where international artists come to college to perform.

The fee structure is reasonable you gave to pay nearly 15k when you are joining in the college which includes the sports fee, library fee and everything. Once you pay that amount you need not pay anything if your a economically backward student you can even get fee reimbursement form the government.

After a week of the commencement of result of class 12th registration form was available at the administrative block of college. After two weeks, entrance exam was held. After a week, it's result was declared. Candidates who have got marks higher than the cut off mark were appointed for the interview. Candidates who passed the interview got admission in the college.

Faculties aren't good they don't give extra knowledge about the topic. Even they don't have better knowledge of their respective subjects too. They use notes to teach us. Rather on focusing on teaching, they focus on preparing notes. They don't give practical knowledge they only know the points that is written in their notes and they teach that only.

Since it was 1999 we did not have good placements, as it was not a good period. Software boomed only after 2005. When I did my PG in 2005 . the placement was 100% even some students had 2-3 offers.Currently it has excellent placements my batch was really fortunate that they had one company TCS visiting and taking 21 students with companies like Wipro, TCS and infosys coming and now even the core companies visit the place.

Excellent Alumni network they conduct alumni meet at Nitte, Mangalore,Bangalore , Dubai, and and other places at gulf if one visit the a facebook you could find lot of alumni meeting happening every year.

The placement was not that good till the year 2014 as the training and placement officer was not that smart to bring on the companies but since after 2014 the trading and placement opportunities has been shining as every year almost 100% of the students gets placed in our college.

Yes, the laboratory practicals are taken frequently and there is. Lecture of 2 hours everyday which is dedicated to the lab. So it is kind of hectic as sometimes we have to perform practicals for upto 4-6 hours .Exams are not that frequent so it's not at all hectic.

Placements in core branches (in core engineering field) at present is next to zero. However we get couple of companies which recruit 1 or 2 students each from a batch of 76. which is not a good sign for the complete batch. This certainly causes chaos in the final year of students because of job insecurity. And the reason of less number of companies on campus is solely because of students of the past, as they reject the offer provided to them on-campus and go for PSUs or higher studies. This certainly reduces the credibility of college in front of the HR team of various companies and thus they decide to rather not come to waste time if students are not interested. This certainly leaves mediocre students to suffer a lot, who are not good enough to get into PSU or a good college. The course Curriculum to be very frank is not too much updated (especially in the branches (like CS &IT) which require frequent updates due to change in Technology. But the Basic course is as per the demand of the industry. What I personally feel is there is a need to improve the choices in subjects under open elective section, and the bad thing here is that there is no actually a choice provided by the Institute to choose from. Its much of majority based decision to choose from which single open elective is to be studied b the whole batch. this is somewhat painful. Also in core branches like Mechanical and Electrical there is still a lot of improvement needed to involve subjects which have computers as a tool for better engineering practices needed in industry at present times.

As far as I know all faculty are PhD. Holders and have a passion In teaching. There is always enthusiasm in learning and teaching. Faculty have a decade of experience in their core field. The faculty are always eager to take seminars and are encouraging to learn more out of the curriculum. All the faculty are best in their fields of study. And also they are little strict compared to other colleges.

Usually for Ist years have two internal exams and one university exam at the end of the semester. And two lab exams one after second internals and the other at final exams. The internal exams are usually of good standards which is a bit chilled out compared to the internal lab exams which are a bit hectic. Usually two exams are conducted per day without any preparatory holiday.

The course is selected by RGPV and not by the college. Until last year it was a it too outdated but this year they have come up with the new CBCS scheme and have updated the course a bit. But the college teaches the updated stuff also to the students for knowledge purposes and so that the students don't suffer in long term because of the university's outdated syllabus.

Gender ratio is almost 50-50 but in my batch it would be 10-90 its just the case in my batch that there are less girls than boys. but the more number of girls in other years make it to be 50-50 in the end. Campus life is as good as it can be. If you are a sponsor person then truba should be your choice. they are hell a lot supportive in sports.

Yes, loan facility available. College provide fee details as per your request.the loan request for this college is accepted by almost all the banks.so loan facilities are easily available. Scholarships are available but it is only for west bengal residential students. For other state students they get rarely any scholarship. They can continue their study on loan if they required.

There are 50-60 companies including about 10 MNCs are came in campus for campus recruitment. Most are software companies. So the placement in CSE IT ECE branch is good enough. Almost all the students are placed.but in other branches you get good job only if you studied hard. Every year around 60-70 students qualified in GATE exam and 10 students qualified in CAT exam.

The course curriculum was good and was really focused considering the type of work we do after MCA. It includes all the important subjects and taught in detail like. Data Structure, C, C++, Java, Oracle, System Analysis and Design, Operating Systems. And in the end there was 6 months project training, which we have the option to do under the professor of college , or we can do it outside under any company. I preferred to do under a company "Learning Management Solutions" from Bhopal. It was really a good learning in those 6 months.

There is an yearly college fest that is organized our college. CENARIUS-13 , There was large number of competitions like, rangoli, Treasure Hunt, Nukkad, What-If, Ad-Mad Show, TShirt Painting, Raaga, Gaming Fiesta, Mobile Shoot, Twist of Taste, Mask Painting, etc. were organized by the students. The Rock - Band competition was also organized in the evening, and at last Dr. Kumar Vishwas gave his presence and it was lot of fun. It was internal to our college only, so whole college participates in the events.

Yes, it provides internship. It varies from company to company. Such as Microsoft gives an stipend of 3.5 lac per half annul. Juniper also offers internship. Robert Bosch also offers internship but Stipend information is not available. And during internship, the are called in their company based on their performance. They also provide permission letter to visit an industry related to their projects or training purpose.

I write jamia millia entrance examination,in written i score 51 out of 85 and 8 marks out of 15 in interview over all 50 marks out of 100. I want say about placements it's good at that time why because when I am studying there are less job opportunities and placements. But now our college placements are better. And there are more job opportunities by campus interviews. And more pupils are also selected in campus interviews. This is one of the good news.

Actually I joined in the department of electrical and electronics engineering. In this there are more and more interesting things to learn. And in this we have to assume maximum of things like current, voltage, flux, Resistance, etc. And this is one of the best and good course for better feature.

We have two sessional examination each semester. These are 30 marks test with 1.5 hours of time. The pattern is generally one exam in a day, and exams get over in a week. These are used for evaluating students to provide their internal scoring (out of 25). Then there is an end semester examination that includes internal and external practical exams (25 for internal and 75 for external) and theory exam of 75 marks.

Internships from college are mainly for computer programming students. Recently Amazon has taken 4 interns with ₹50,000 per month and arcegium with the same. Direct i selected 4 students for intern with ₹1,50,000 per month which includes house rent. Core students have to either apply off campus or some core companies come and select them with the new recruiters.
