Annual fest was named as lelihan which a cultural fest ,a freshers welcome function was conducted every year by just seniors. Techno fest was held once in 4 years . Not much tech fest were held those days and we went to IIT and NIT to participate for the same but small cultural fest were many apart the two mentioned earlier.

Have a girls to boys ratio of 35-65%. Most students were from state and few from neighbourhood states, no Student/Dorm Parties, and very few workshops, cultural societies or Student diversity and high tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.

To get admission in this college we need to take PGCET exam which would be in the month of june or july and the notification for the same will be available in may. After the results of the exam are out in august then we need to go through the counselling procedure and then on the merit list get the admission and go to the college and pay the fees.

There used to be a lots of events which were being celebrated in the college major one being the BMSCE UTSAVA . Which used to be a star studded event and is the top event among the college fests in Bangalore. Apart from that in the MBA department we used to have International conference and MBA department inter collegiate fest.

Fee structure was not much expensive at the time when I was in the college. There was a concept of Free seat and pay seat at that time. Free seat was costing 5000 rupees all including tuition fee as well. Pay seat was costing around 40,000 along with lab and tuition fee. Pay structure has changed now but still very competitive.

Course curriculum was Excellent. Computer science subjects were very useful for future use. Being a Alumni, I understand the importance of the subjects which were offered to us. Electives were also offered keeping future use in mind. Embedded systems, VLSI designing, Artificial intelligence etc were quite useful.

The college invites Companies to visit our campus and most of them were MNCs like HUL, Videocon, HCL,IBM, Wipro, TCS ,India mart, Dabur and many more. The average package offered in our batch was 7 lacs. Its quite long now to remember and describe the package offered by each company but do remember the package offered in our batch was 18 lacs and that was in IBM.

The selection process was completely based on CAT/MAT Score. The admission form can be filled online or through physical form through there campus. The notification was given if the candidate score is good .If the score in MAT is good then only one can apply MBA Course and after this there is a GD & PI Round for final selection.

Course curriculum is framed in such a way that student gets to learn step by step with change of design topic in every semester. From basic design to other typical subjects, students get to learn more through educational trips related to different subjects. Till the thesis, students get to know many styles and faces of architecture including practical training for six months.

College has world class computer and GIS lab. It has its own workshop. Won Inter SPA sports tournament, students keep winning national and international design competitions.

Training and placement team is although dedicated but the placements are just average.It's not that good.Not much big companies visit for recruitment of student.The only major company which come is Tata Consultancy services which take the maximum students. Tata consultancy services gives package of around 3.5 lakh to students. Around 106 students were placed among 720 students.Some of the other companies are XL dynamics, Car wale. But they offer just around 1.5 to 1.8 lakh.

Faculties members are just average here and the behavior towards the students is not that good.It's really difficult to understand accent of maximum faculty members. Although 10% faculty members are very good. They are good at behavior with students and have great knowledge about the subjects. Maximum of the faculty members have completed their Ph.D. And some have M.tech degree. Most of the faculty member are having less experience.

I opted for K-CET 2003 and scored a rank of around 7000 ( All India ). I was very clear that i want a mechanical degree and thus in the counselling after all the decent colleges of Bangalore were over, Raichur name started flashing in the hot take. Without wasting much time i opted for it. The reason for the rush that particular year for Karnataka Seats were also because of the fee reduced to Rs. 36500 /- per year or so if i remember correctly. My criteria for choosing was the year of college existence, fees etc.

Few of the Faculty ( if i remember correctly :- Mr. Ravindranath, Mr. Hera math, Mr. Kenned, Mr. Chetti, any many more ) were really good and gave decent lectures and also guided us on how to move forward. I would like to specially thank Mr. Ravindranath & Mr. Heramath who used to make us aware of the world outside as we were not much accessible to the outside world that time. He used to give us quality time after lectures on telling us how to move forward in life. it was a real good time.

EMCET, where i scored 30 k rank and choosed EEE. I choosed that college because of no reason as i got it and i do not have any other option to choose and over and above, that college is near to my home.

Internship are just a curriculum requirement and about campus, its all bogus and no recruitment happened even though they project about campus placements.

Campus life isn't as good as DSCE or BMS. But isn't bad either. The crowd isn't a mix-up of all the cultures. You'll probably end up crashing on either a Kannada or a Bihari in a crowd, as these two are in majority. Not much of a North culture is prevalent, but still you can make good friends and enjoy. People are tolerant and polite, and not that indulged in malpractices like drugs etc. Extracurriculars like robotics, python programming and other classes are held all around the year. Sports is not that much of a hype here.

Placement is not very remarkable but not bad either. Its certainly better than colleges like DSCE, Siddaganga and JSSATE in terms of placements. Though there is a lack of core companies coming for placements, but the college witnesses almost 100% placements every year, the mass recruiter being Infosys and TCS. Packages go as high as 14-15 lacs per annum, average bring around 3.5 lacs but sinks down for core branches.

CSE branch of IIT BHU has a reputation 100% placement over the years. These placements of students are also in highly reputed companies like Microsoft, Apple, Google, Amazon, etc. The average package of students in CSE branch is 12 lpa. There is a rule of one dream package to allow maximum number of students to get good packages and prevent few students to bag all the jobs. Placement cell of the College also invites companies from India and abroad to secure the students good job offers.

I took M.P.C group for my 10 plus 1 and 2 classes and immediately started preparing for IIT JEE examination as it lets you do engineering from some of the prestigious engineering colleges of India. I got 296 rank in SC reserved category in the examination and opted for computer science and engineering in IIT BHU. I have heard from seniors that computer science branch has good reputation in IIT BHU and has 100% placement through the years.

The college is rich in campus though the sex ratio was poor in 2012. Market around the campus makes things easy and attractive. The crowd formation is very diverse in Ramanujan college It gets ll the medium scorer students of General category and low scorer from SC/ST categories Quizzes and debates form a big part of academic year in Ramanujan, Cultural society and literary society along with commerce association helps to bring up the participant n you.

The college holds many festivals as Ramanujan College have the 2nd largest commerce Faculty, It have its own commerce association which holds commerce related seminars and events.The college also have good hold on Literature and hold literary festival with different theme every year.The festivals are generally extravagance in terms of their holding and association.

In our class, boys number was very less(15 boys out of 58). The majority was girls. The campus is far away from the city center. There is no near place to hangout. The student who used to come to college by college bus, they have to wait till evening to go back home. Since the bus works only twice in a day. There are no student parties or cultural societies.

I attended CET. Due to some problem, I couldn't attend the initial rounds of CET seat selection process. I been to last round of selection process, there I got so many options but my mind stick into RIT, since it was in my hometown. Then with no hesitation I took the seat.Fee structure will be as follows: CET fee + 10000/- as college registration fee.

Course are well defined. first year of excitement leads to electrifying start. College faculty maintain the curriculum in decent way which help the student to get healthy marks in exams. There is lot of option for research in Punjab so if you have that enthusiasm to discover something go for it, College praised your talent and help you to fly with that.

Faculty was good, fun loving, hard working and motivational. They always have one or two lecture of Mr. Dean to motivate student for garbing there dreams. PhD teacher always encourage to speaks about your personality and i thing which is helpful for generating any career option. overall good faculty.

Placements in PSG tech are very good, the campus is visited by variety of companies from MNC to local companies the college first brings the MNC companies like goldman sachs, intel, amazon, microsoft, ebay, etc and the service based companies like cognizant, tcs, wipro, etc, and the local companies will be given a chance to recruit our students for those who wish to work in the home town. During our final year around 700 got placed in cognizant, 60 in IBM, 28 wipro, 15 INTEL, 10 ebay, 8 amazon all these are approximate vaues. Check Course Curriculum and Fee Details Of P.

The college has a very own industry situated inside the college itself Yes, they provide internship to students within college as from companies the stipend varies based on what kind of internship they are receiving, from which company they are receiving. companies like intel, ebay, amazon, etc, provide stipend upto 25k and the local companies provide from 6-15k and there are unpaid internships also if it is a research project within college it depends on the project and guide.

From technical to management there were many fests conducted. An all india conference was held in the year 2015 in which many research scholar's across the country and overseas came to present their papers. It was a 3 day program. We had even organized a management fest, which had a bigg boss concept and participants from all over karnataka came to represent their colleges, which was held for 7 days.

Its very much related to the industry standards, courses are related to current industry practices and even lab facility's are very good. We are supposed to do internship as well as a research project which is very much focused on researches. Course structure offers flexiblity for students to pursue the courses at their will.

CET was the entrance exam we had to take during our tenure of studies. CET acronym Common Entrance Test . I was in a situation were had lost hope to take up this exam due to medical emergency in family and mentally also not prepared. But my brother was the energy filler who fill all the positive vibes and made me visualise after 4 years i will hold an Engineering degree and that was the energy carried through out my studies and successful Engineer.

Based on the ranking there was a CET circulation published to attend the process of picking the college and course. We had to assemble in the premises with all our documents like fees cheque (depending on quota ex.General), PU hall tickets, Ranking details, marks card or a copy of PU mark sheet, Conduct certificate, Caste Certificate all with signature of gazzett officer.

Overall course structure is good. Since its an autonomous institute it has got the freedom to modify the curriculum. It does not follows the curriculum which the university grants. This makes the college course unique among others institute in district. The curriculum provides us the distinct and in-depth knowledge of the mechanical engineering course. Coming to the electives, this college has got the most unique set of electives which we cannot find in other colleges. Some of them includes introduction to aircraft engineering, design of aircraft structures, entrepreneurship and management etc among others.

Faculty is 10/10 one of the prominent factor to opt the college. Most of them are qualified from prestigious IIT'S AND NIT'S with Phd's. Most of the faculty members of mechanical engineering department in particular are serving for more than 20 years. They have got good command over the subjects. They are really fluent in language. They are really helpful in resolving the doubts and problems of students. The faculty members are really student oriented. The help you not only in academics matter but also give suggestions on personal and career matters.

In my point of view there must be something more practical knowledge should be mandatory in our course like at least two industrial visit and one project i every semester and they have to give weight age to these activities to our marksheet. overall it is a well designed course by which we can get a little idea about every stream of engineering in first year after that the course is focused on our field of interest.

College life is depends on students mainly but then there is a problem the uniform in college which is not suppose to mandatory. On the name of sports we can play basket ball, volley ball, cricket. No such ground for football.But in our sports room table tennis and caram board and chess which we can enjoy in our free lectures.

I took UPTU ,JEE mains entrance exam. One thing is applicable what else i should say nothing is too good about this college this is as normal as other private college just doing to earn money all are business oriented.

All general bpos come to our college and come companies like private ones hcl, larcen and tubro etc. but they come and take the student at low packages like its worthless doing engineering from here.

The course is balanced and great with regular assignments, internal sessionals and end term semesters. Semesters exams are prepared and checked by IP University so it adds to a plus point. Also the degree will mention only branch and course and not the name of the college but only the university and an IP degree is considered as one of the best Indian degrees to have.

Being an engineering college, Gender ratios are really messed up. You can find more girls in CS and IT branch is about 10 in a class of about 55 and even lesser in branches like EEE or CIVIL or ME. Economic status of students varies from filthy rich to from humble backgrounds but there is no discrimination and also no discrimination on religion basis too.
