The course structure was very good. It was an extension or much more advanced version of what we have learned in BE. The Elective paper are Digital Electronics, DSP, Computer Network, Microwave etc. The labs were well-equipped with modern computers and software which are accessible 24 hrs a day.The technical staff were quite supportive / helpful. You will always get the required helps from the teachers.

The course curriculum is not of the highest standard it is decent though all the subjects that are required to be known for a computer science engineer are taught here in the first year of college , all the students , irrespective of their college are taught all the basic subjects of all the branches after that students can decide to switch their branch if they want to the next 3 years students are taught subjects specific to their own branch subjects taught are decent but the syllabus is a little bit outdated.
The exam structure is very hectic four college years are divided into 8 semesters in each semester there are 2 mid terms 1 practical exam and 1 Main RTU exam In each semester there are six subjects so a student has to learn a lot Apart from the theory there are 3 to 5 practical subjects every semester In the final year, a student also has to make a major and a minor project based on the list provided by the college.

The college campus is lush green and spread in about 90 acres .The campus life is great .Many workshops which are held by different companies which provides great knowledge to the students .There are many departmental as well as cultural societies which arrange different events and fests and responsible for the discipline in the college. There is no ragging in the college. There is gender ,caste, race, religion equality in the college.the college is well maintained and is funded by the government for the maintainance .There are many extracurricular activities for the development of the individual. Many events including robotics ,group discussion ,aptitude and debates are held in the campus.
The exam structure is fine .There are two monthly sessional in a semester which are of 24 marks that are taken for the internal marks .There are two tests in a day, one in the morning session and another in the evening session due to which we are not able to prepare that well which leads to a tired day. But the exam structure is good .We get an ample amount of time for the preparation of the exams all the rules are followed during the exams. The labs , we can say are good .Well furnished ,Air conditioned and full of equipment related to the course.

I just happened to know through one of my dad's friend about this college and since i was not able to get admission in engineering colleges i went and checked out the college premises and took the admission form. Then i came home and did some research, at the time of admission, person in charge told me that you can get the admission directly until the seats are full, so i immediately took the admission filling the form and fees which was pretty simple rather than waiting for the lists to be out for days and days.
Overall a lot of companies had come for job interviews and the packages they provided were in the range of 2-3 lakhs per annum with immediate joining after last year. Companies such as Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Patni had come to the college packages which they were providing were around 1.5-3 lakhs per annum. There were at least 20-30% people who were placed in campus placement.

Campus life was pathetic. It is very low grade. Most of the students are either from Bihar or the local gujjars. The gender ratio is very poor.In my class, out of 50 students, only 4 were girls. There was no life for students in the college premises. There was no female faculty to concern. No extracurricular. No sports,no competition, nothing.
The faculty was below par. Very boring and less in number. A total of 8 faculty members including director, and all were male professors. No female faculty was available. They could not get me interested in class and most of the times I just relied on self study. Moreover, no practicals were carried out. Only theory was stressed on.

The fee structure was not that much expensive. We had an annual fee of 38,500 which includes tuition+lab fees.Apart from that there was a book bank system which every student is supposed to pay 3000 at the time of admission(refundable) and the text books were supplied by the college. We paid exam fees in every semester-I think Rs.100 for each paper. At the time of admission we paid an amount near to 30000(admission fee, uniform etc.).I remember there was no capitation fee. There was a caution deposit of 5000. What I remember hostel fee was 1500 per month which was not applicable for me since I was a day scholar.
The faculties were well qualified. Our Principal Rev.Dr.Abraham was a reputed clergy man who was known for new innovations 'as a layman'.He was the founder of the college and What I felt he was always keen towards new knowledge and implementation of technologies. Our director-Dr.M.S Samuel was a well known professor of Mathematics who contributed a lot to the studies in mathematics. He was also a research guide for many students. Our HOD was a good diplomatic person who knew how to handle not only the subjects like C,algorithm etc but also the students and our faculty members were very friendly and mentoring.
The course curriculum needs to detailed and wide in PGDM but Asian business school has not covered each and every subject which other institutes basically covers. If i go through technical activities should be there but they do not conduct ant type of it.
I found lot of difficulties during exam time,as the structure they tell they don't work according to it.They change the pattern on regular basis and due to continuous change, a student is not able to cope up with it.

I appeared for AIEEE and achieve a rank of 75000 (approx) all over India. I with my parents visited couple of colleges in Jaipur for Admission as we were late for admission due to my Bad health. I liked the environment of NIMS and also the way Dean himself took my interview . Dean was confident enough which drived me to take admission at NIMS.
Course Structure is average. We don't seek to gain research based information through course only. The Course covers all the basic and mid level structure . In case I need to focus on research, double the course structure I'll have to target on. Some of the Course also seems irreverent to the core Subject.

My course was extremely feasible for me. It was around Rs. 40,000 a year for me, considering I have lived and studied in Bangalore all my life. It would probably have been much more for North Indian, NRI and foreign students. But that applies to all courses.
In a year there are 4 exams. 2 mid-semester exams for 50 max marks, and 2 end semester exams for 100 max marks. There are 4 other assignments for each subject as well.

I actually took up only JEE and I was waiting to get into a decent college in Tamilnadu via the Anna university engineering counselling but the TIME institute recommended me to take up KEE also.In JEE mains I just cleared the exam by scoring the minimum marks so I lost the hope of getting into good college whereas in KEE I scored 2000 rank which gave me the freedom to choose any department so I chose Karunya.
The gender ratio is close to equal like we've 5000 boys and 4000 girls in the whole campus and we've students from almost all the states of India and few from foreign countries like Nigeria. No problems with tolerance and you'll be respected and treated normal irrespective of your preferences and I forgot to mention something this is a Christianity minority institution so 70% of students are Christians.
