Fees is easily feasible first year 10000 so there is not remark on this subject the alumni network and senior students all are good path guider from getting admission to getting job all are superb so my own ways if you have talent no one can stop and get easier job in companies.

In our college placements and job opportunities are very good. Almost 85% were recruited Top MNC's like TCS were came to our college. Core company LNT, Punj LLoyd etc were came.

My course was extremely feasible for me. It was around Rs. 40,000 a year for me, considering I have lived and studied in Bangalore all my life. It would probably have been much more for North Indian, NRI and foreign students. But that applies to all courses.

In a year there are 4 exams. 2 mid-semester exams for 50 max marks, and 2 end semester exams for 100 max marks. There are 4 other assignments for each subject as well.

I actually took up only JEE and I was waiting to get into a decent college in Tamilnadu via the Anna university engineering counselling but the TIME institute recommended me to take up KEE also.In JEE mains I just cleared the exam by scoring the minimum marks so I lost the hope of getting into good college whereas in KEE I scored 2000 rank which gave me the freedom to choose any department so I chose Karunya.

The gender ratio is close to equal like we've 5000 boys and 4000 girls in the whole campus and we've students from almost all the states of India and few from foreign countries like Nigeria.No problems with tolerance and you'll be respected and treated normal irrespective of your preferences and I forgot to mention something this is a Christianity minority institution so 70% of students are Christians.

Yes all kind of activities takes place in the college. Various kind of workshops are conducted by each faculty, seminars also conducted. Then there are competitions such as debates , personalty development program. Sports week is celebrated in the February month. The cricket ground , football ground , volleyball ground, sports rooms are there for building the sports skills.

The faculty members generate the interests in the respected stream. All the necessary help is provided to the students. There are research labs , computer labs , departmental library also. Which helps student to improve their knowledge and skills. Student can do practice in the institute of their respecting stream.

This college is famous for this reason only. All credit goes to Prof S. H Khan. See first on all some mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, L&T, Mindtree, Aricent (any 4-5 companies) will come for all branches. They provide minimum 600-700 offers. If you are from ECE, Telecom ,EEE branches then you have some core opportunities like Robert Bosch, Anite Telecom etc and some high package companies. Not every year but most of the the years civil core companies like NCC Urban, Shapoorji Paloonji come. but if you are from CSE ISE there are endless opportunities from Amazon, Dell, Sprinkler, ZS Associates, Mahattan salary upto 16LPA. If you have good programming knowledge you will get handsome package. Finally I can say if you have 60% throughout your academics and if you can speak well you'll be placed.

Here I have to divide the entire college faculty into 2 parts. CSE ISE faculties are very much student friendly. They dont care about attendance. So you'll get ample time to learn something new, spend time for your hobby, hanging out with friends. They will help you when you need them. you will feel you are actually in college. On the other hand ECE, Mech faculties are exactly opposite. The only thing they care is attendance. So your entire engineering life is attending boring lectures. you will see dirty politics everywhere. They will throw you in trouble knowingly. life is very difficult here. There were some good faculties here but they could not survive here.

Annual function Sanskrit in which our college conduct cultural activities in this function student do dance , sing songs do drama and many more some teachers also perform activities and zion which has different events such dancing singing technical events as many more zion night where clelebrity comes for our entertainment garba ganpati festival where we have done ganpati visarjan.

Exams are tough as SPU exam structure and paper pattern is hard so one should study hard for good marks labs experiment is not so hard you could easily pass in practicals exams.labs are of 2 hrs so one can be get bored but they are interesting to if u get interests in them labs are very important so faculty pay attention towards lab.

The diversity is visible in the class. 25% of the class is females.There is a mix of freshers and those with work experience. The students come from backgrounds of Engineering, Commerce, BMS, etc. The diversity is in form of the previous work experience also. There are numerous committees which help run the college efficiently - Academic committee, Alumni committee, Entrepreneurship Cell, etc and clubs - Consulting, Finance, Marketing, Operations. All the above ensure the students never get bored as they are constantly involved in one activity or the other.

Academically I must say that JB has got some of the best faculty who are working professionals and bring out the experience via use of applications of whatever theory is being taught. This is what I experienced in subjects related to marketing, finance and operations. Visiting faculty are/have been the presidents of corporations and have an in-depth knowledge of the practical application of learnt concepts.

The campus life is happening, there is a mix of students but most of them are from Delhi . In the b.tech courses the gender ration favours the boys highly but in other MBA and BBA courses it is quite neutral. The labs are good and.well equipped. There are two indoor badminton courts, one basketball court, a football field, a volleyball court and a table tennis table in the hostel along with a small gym.

The college follows a semester system. Each semester is 6 months long and has 2 exams. The internal exams (or midsems) are conducted in the college itself and carry 15% value overall the externals are conducted in other colleges of IPU and carry 75% weight age . 10% weight age is given to internal assessment(files, assignments etc.

It's once in 6 months and mid term exams will be there students may have to write various class test also in between semesters and labs will be scheduled as per your batch mostly you will have every 3 days lab in a week and your day will never be hectic it will be just a busy day with very good learning. Exams will be a bit tough so students have to put their best for it or else the way will be tough to cross.

Since it's a marine course very few girls prefer this college but we have a very good environment in our college students of all religions are present here there is no discrimination among-st all of us we all are same for college administration and we all exercises equal right on our college sports ground are well maintained and debate and other activities are conducted frequently.

Placements of the college are the best in pune. Several companies for comp and IT providing packages as high as 24 lakhs. Other companies include HSBC ,ZS, Deloitte ,mu sigma, tata tech, FMC, etc. TCS is the mass recruiter. UES centre of pine is AIT. placement for comp and IT are quite good but mech and E&TC placements suffer a bit. But if you are technically sound and have good communication skills there are great chances of being placed in a very good company.

The gender ratio is not good just like any other engineering college about 6:1 for other btanches and 58:1 in mechanical. There are several clubs and you get a lot of treats from seniors if you are involved in a club. No discrimination at all based on caste religion or state. Parties are not allowed in hostel but you can do one if you are good at running if the watchman arrives.

Based on my EAMCET rank I got admission in Ganapthy Engineering College, which is one of the best college in Telangana. The admission process which I went through is totally depended on my EAMCET rank and according to that rank and with my interest I had to choose the "Computer Science" as my subject.

The placement is quite good in our college for CS, IT and ECE department but for core departments the way is not the same. In our campus,this year TCS, Mphasis, Mindtree, Persistent came to our college. 235 students got placed in TCS,31 in MindTree,14 in CTS and 13 in Wipro.

Students' participation in inter college events, techfests etc that are organized in other colleges is also quite less though I am seeing some improvements here. Very few students go for internships. But there are some exceptions like mechanical dept which has continuously impressed even on an international level. BAJA was something that I want to point to. Overall, the students need much more exposure of technology and ideas.

The campus is beautiful, although if you compare with the fees thr college takes, this is an overstatement. It is spread over 165 acres and we literally have to go on tours to explore the college. There is a haunted lane and dtu lake in the college. The former is renowned for being haunted and also for the presence of a reindeer or a deer, latter is renowned because its a lake, although as dirty as a drain. If we are lucky to have good friends, there is nothing better than lollygagging around in the college after class hours. Gender ratio is poor as in the case of every engineering college. Classes are crowded with 60-80 people. And only 15-20% girls. That being 0-5% in departments like mechanical. DTU is renowned for its interaction between juniors and seniors because it boasts of many societies. IEEE, education tree, Enactus, E cell, NSS, UAS DTU, DTU supermileage, sahitya, pratibimbh are some of them. There are enough resources to explore almost all of our interests. And if there isnt a society that meets our interest, we can, at any time, open one. The extra curricular competitions are held very regularly, so regularly, that they are mostly untalked about because of being so common, but the participation is very large. Our college is very shallow in spending money in renovating gyms and sports complex. In spite of that, we organised inter college football tournament where 32 teams participated from all over delhi. So, sports is a culture here, regardless of bad amenities.

ECE branch has seen many changes in its syllabus since last year and the years before. Since percentage system changed to grading system last year, the result was change in syllabus and continuous evaluation. The course as of now has subjects of electronics and computer science combined. Being a sophomore, i am not well acquainted with focus on research, but as far as i know, it depends on individual interests. I had a friend who even got his name published in a research paper in first year itself. Taking into account the syllabus of third and fourth year, they are more research and development based than second year's syllabus. The electives are to enhance practical knowledge, and unless we apply it practically, they won't be easy to ace. Internet of things, digital image processing, cloud computing, antenna designs are some of the elective courses. The electives, unlike last year and before, now offer choices. Electives are offered to students in third and fourth year. There would be 8 electives in all, 2 each from 5th semester to 8th semester.

My college comes under Visvesvarayya Technological University which will conducts the final exams of each semester and every month college will conduct internals and in a sem there will three internals and one lab internal for both two labs and as University will conduct the final Lab exams before the final written exam and that final exam will be conducted for all 6 theory exams by the university thus after a month of completion of exams results will announced by the university and even Question papers will be prepared by the university.

College will conduct lot of events every year at the beginning of the year there will be event co ducted from the LEAD PRAYANA, later AVALANCHE is an event conducted by college and after that there will be separate events from each branch every event will be of 3 days and in between there will be sports events and University match events later in even semester there will be cultural events and a college event called AURA which is called college festival nd invite a Bollywood singer every year.

As I said this is a quite old college and appears as if they had no plans for expansion. Some hostels are outside campus and students have to travel a Km or few to reach preffered destination which is tough if you are a pedestrian, a bicycle can come to your rescue. In M.tech mechanical gender ratio is usually record low but can't say about this with respect to B.TECH. Sports facilities are not up to the mark, play ground here can be a good grazing plot for cows and buffalos.

Course structure is well designed though exam structure is good with a tough part .Students have to appear for two exams namely 20 marks mid term and 60 marks end term and 20 marks on assignments and attendance ,tough part is a few professors cover a lot of syllabus for 20 marks exam and make a 50-60 mark paper for that syllabus that creates an extra burden as there are no practices separately to rescue your grades if some how you couldn't manage to prepare fully for mid term.

By visiting the campus, most are having m.tech degrees. having good experience on particular subjects, the lab was good and efficient for practical knowledge, 250+ computers in computer lab. Mechanical labs having all machine and good staff to trained practicality. Ac lab, fluid dynamics lab, robotic lab etc.

There is no sexaul discrimination and also ratio is eqaul between girls and boys and all types of cultural activities are conducted for both being a coed college it fullfills all the requirements providing healthy competition to students there is a very fair political environment for students elections and voting is also done fairly economic status of college is currently not very good as there were very less admissions in the engineering department this year as compared to previous years.

Affiliated by Pt. ravishnkar shukla University which js by the way accredit B by NAAC the exam structure is very good and fair we go to other colleges for giving the examination ensuring no unfair support from the teacher. 5 subjects are included in each semester and exams are done every 6 months and results are declared online any body having problem can appeal from reopening of the sheets for reconsecration.

No, Loans and scholarships are not offered by the college in any form. If student does get scholarship or prize money from outside, the college keeps atleast 50℅ of the amount for itself.

Exams 2 internals and one end semester per semester. Internals assessment and routine set by college faculty while end semester routine is set by Goa university.

Gave the state wise entrance exam cet in the year 2012 got a score of 103 in the exam applied toh centralized procedure and got ycce electrical . Then list was declared and in the first round I was allocated ycce there was a 3 days window to confirm your admission before the the second round. Went to ycce filled the neccesary form add in favour on principal ycce was required to pay the fee they provided with the banking facilities there .it took nearly 2-3 hrs for the whole process but after the admission was confirmed.

It consist of 8 sem . each sem divided into 3 exams I.e two mse -mid sem examination consisting of 15 marks each making it a total of 30 marks and ESE - end sem examination of 60 marks total 30+60= 90 and 10 marks were given by the teacher on assignment ,attendance or any surprise test thus making it a total of 100 marks . Exam during mse are tiresome as you have to appear for 2 paper a day thus making it difficult for student to score whereas ESE had a gap of 2/3 day between papers ,where you can enhance your score.
